Madam Wants To Divorce Her Second Husband-Chapter 82
Chapter 82: Chapter 82
Winter had an inner turmoil as she kept debating whether she should say something or not.
She was about to turn around and leave in silence because she had to show that he had no worth for her.
But did he have no worth for her?
Even Winter knew that wasn’t true.
Thus, after fighting against her pride, she said, "It doesn’t matter whether you fail or not. It’d be great if you could get a contract with him, but as long as you try your best and get acquainted with him, then I see it as a success."
"I do not tolerate failure, Sebastian Saenz. But what I see as a failure is someone who did nothing and then blamed others for their misfortune," Winter said. "They deserve every pain and failure that they got."
Winter felt that she had stabbed herself in the chest after saying those words. Because she was that person who did nothing and blamed others for her misfortune.
She was weak and stupid as she allowed herself to get bullied by Camilla in her own home.
She kept begging Sebastian to do something, but had she done anything by herself to defend her status and wealth?
No.
She did nothing.
She just let everything crumble in front of her before she decided to kill herself.
Her lips thinned as she found it physically painful to admit, so she turned around and left.
Meanwhile, Sebastian also felt the same thing.
His heart ached badly because he thought that Winter called him a failure.
After all, he was the one who did nothing when his wife was being bullied. He did nothing when his mother forced him to do things he didn’t like, such as transferring the ownership of Goldmine Realty from Winter to Sebastian.
He never wanted to be a part of such a crime against his wife. But he was too scared to refuse. His mother threatened to kill herself if he didn’t do what she said.
Sebastian didn’t want to lose his mother, so he ended up losing his wife.
’It hurts so bad,’ Sebastian murmured as he grimaced in pain. He had no physical pain, but the emotional burden was like a neverending torment for Sebastian.
"I can’t fail this. Winter might’ve forgiven me if I fucked it up somehow, but I won’t forgive myself," Sebastian told himself. "I shouldn’t have shown weakness in front of her, because it’d only hurt me even more."
"I’m a man, after all. I shouldn’t cry, nor show weakness in front of my woman..." Sebastian told himself over and over.
It was a line that his mother said whenever he cried when he was young.
—
’Remember, Sebastian Saenz. Only women and sissies cry. You’re not sissy, aren’t you? So, don’t cry just because I hit your head!’ Camilla yelled at the top of her lungs. ’You should never show fear or sadness in front of a woman. A man should just kill himself if their life is so much of a failure!’

Winter left the CEO’s office in a complicated mood, and it was apparent when Cindy and Iris saw it.
Iris didn’t hear any screaming from the office, so she didn’t think that they were having another quarrel. But that complicated expression on Winter’s face showed a hint of disappointment and anger.
Meanwhile, Cindy was just more than happy to see Winter’s expression, if only she could see Winter with that pained look more often, then her life would be all sunshine and rainbows.
"Something’s wrong, Sis?" Cindy asked as to taunt her sister. "Maybe you can tell me. We’re siblings, right? We should share each other’s problems."
"I don’t want to share my life problem with a skank who lies," Winter said calmly. "I’d rather spend my time alone in my penthouse rather than standing here with you, Cindy."
"And why are you talking to me right now? Go and do your job," Winter added. She looked at Iris and said, "You should’ve taught her more about how to conduct herself."
"Oh, trust me, I tried," Iris rolled her eyes. "She’s just too thickheaded and shameless. I can’t believe that she’s your sister."
"And I can’t believe you are still talking, you hag," Cindy couldn’t help insulting Iris. She had been disrespected repeatedly by these two old bitches. So she had the right to defend herself!
"Honestly, I feel better now, knowing that someone else out there has it worse for me," Winter taunted. She smirked at Cindy and added, "Though, it still surprises me how you suddenly changed your dress code. Did you finally understand that you’re being obnoxious?"
"I have never been obnoxious, at least not in front of Sebastian," Cindy defended herself. "Now, can you stop pestering me? You are the one telling me to work hard, and you’re also the one who is wasting my time right now. You’re so unemployed, Sis."
Winter giggled, "I guess I am. It’s nice to be unemployed and rich."
Winter bid Iris goodbye while ignoring Cindy completely.
Cindy watched her sister’s back, and told herself, ’Just wait and see, Winter. I’ll be the winner in the end. I’ll make Sebastian mine no matter how!’

Arthur kept on checking his Madam from the rearview mirror. She had been looking sad since the day she got married to Sebastian. Arthur was worried that Winter might’ve been hurt by her bastard’s second husband while he wasn’t around.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t see any bruises because Winter was fully covered.
’I still believe Sebastian must’ve done something to my precious Madam. I just have to make her confess,’ Arthur thought. He cleared his throat and asked, "You look sad, Madam. Did something happen to you?"
"It’s nothing," Winter sighed. She looked at the beautiful view of New York in the evening and muttered, "I just wished I could do more in this life, so I can change my fate."
Arthur didn’t understand what his Madam said, but he insisted on uncovering the truth, "You can start by divorcing him, Madam. Sebastian Saenz is not good for you. You could do better!"
