Chapter 1418: Chapter 1037: You Were Toyed With Emotionally

On the day the starry sky shattered, the two unsolved mysteries of Sword Flower University both found their answers.

One mystery was how Sonia, a mere village girl, managed to ascend from nothing to a Holy Sanctuary Mage within a year—oh, now she’s already a Demigod Mage, but no one is surprised anymore. Even if the Sword Maiden were to ascend to the starry sky and slay the Supreme Star to take its place, it might barely stir the minds of the students and faculty at Sword Flower.

The other mystery was the identity of Sonia’s mysterious lover.

Previously in the Claw Club, opinions were divided into three factions: ’Nihilism’, ’Realism’, and ’Optimism’.

The Nihilist faction believed there was no lover at all; Sonia is charming not because she’s in love, but because she’s inherently so cute;

The Realist faction believed the Sword Maiden’s lover was actually female, having suspected everyone from her three roommates to Senior Sister Reonie, and all outstanding individuals from other schools;

The Optimist faction claimed, "I am the Sword Maiden’s lover," and madness ensued daily in the Claw Club, regardless of gender.

Yes, before this, no one thought Sonia’s lover was male because every male mage Sonia has interacted with—yes, every single one—had been investigated. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

To be fair, Sonia wasn’t so mesmerizing as to hit nationwide trending topics, not even the few scandals involving Dedarose faced such stringent scrutiny. Many people believed that her rapid ascension likely had a link to her mysterious lover; it was less about who her lover was, and more about the curiosity over who could enable a village girl’s swift rise.

Now, both mysteries can be answered with the same name.

Evil God’s Touch, Enemy of the Starry Sky, Ash Heath!

Although it could be argued that Sonia’s lover might be Dedarose or an associate from the Four Pillars God Sect, many mages witnessed Ash and Sonia’s kiss from afar, with photos secretly circulating online, breathtaking enough to make many Sword Flower students bite their lips.

However, despite Ash’s infamy spreading across Dazzling Star, scarcely anyone knew of his past, as if he emerged from a dumpster in another nation, existing solely to abduct the Sword Maiden and Dedarose, and incidentally shatter the starry sky a bit.

"Do you know that man?" Lois asked anxiously.

"How could I, I surely don’t want to know such a heinous villain," Aisha said. "But, I learned about his past from other channels."

Adelle waved her hand, "There’s no one else here, no need to hide that you’ve used a prophetic miracle to investigate someone’s dark history."

"It’s really not this time," Aisha shook her head, "You guys will find out the news soon enough... The Kingdom of Stars is already receiving influence from the other Four Nations."

"What?" Everyone was taken aback, Adelle said excitedly, "Are we going to exploit other nations to become the elite of elites!?"

"It’s hard to believe you’re a well-educated lady," Aisha’s lips twitched. "How could you still wish to revert to the slave era?"

"So to speak, people don’t hate the noble, they just hate not being noble themselves." Adelle said, "Besides, it’s not reverting to the slave era... as long as Dazzling Star is doing better than other nations, it should be fine."

Reonie asked, "What about the Divine Lords of the other nations?"

"They have completely withdrawn their forces and will no longer interfere in the Mortal World," Aisha said. "And the situation you expect won’t happen, apart from demanding that the Four Nations open trade, Dazzling Star only requires the Noble Charter to be implemented as soon as possible, while the rest is equality among the Five Nations."

"Conflicting with the Noble Charter, such as the Bloodline Prohibition Law of the Kingdom of Blood Moon, must be abolished. As long as it does not violate the Noble Charter, the original systems of other nations can be retained."

"Under the gaze of the Star Cluster, the noble shall rule the earth."

Aisha’s tone wavered slightly, "The Supreme Star achieving final victory illustrates that our national system is the most advanced. Thus, we will bring the correct system to other countries."

Our Dazzling Star, is the best country.

Though the female mages present could not understand the implication of such actions, they felt an inexplicable sense of pride and superiority.

"Then what does all this have to do with Ash Heath?" Lois asked.

"Because with the Five Nations now connected through the Sky Gate, Heath’s experiences in other nations are also compiled here. All Prophet Mages and Senior Spirit Mages are assembled to study his history, analyze his whereabouts and actions."

Aisha pointed at herself, "Thus, seated before you is one of the world’s foremost experts on Ash Heath’s history."

"Is this something we can talk about?"

"I reckon a book titled ’Ash Heath’ will appear in bookstores next month, recounting his escapades in detail; what you have is merely a synopsis in advance."

"Quick," Adelle was already eager, "what kind of person is Sonia’s lover?"

Aisha cast a Miracle, and a photographic Phantom emerged in the air, "This is what’s not to be disclosed... This is the prophesied scene of Heath from the Weaving Festival, akin to the All-knowing Weaver’s prophetical Wonder targeting Ash."

In the photo is a dilapidated, burning city ruin, where a man in a dark red trench coat sits on a luxurious red leather soft chair. With one leg crossed over the other, his left hand supporting his cheek, a mask on his face, unkempt bangs falling carelessly, he gazes at the burning world nonchalantly, eyes slightly squinted, as if smiling.
