Chapter 794

"Okay. That was a crazy turn of events. Nobody expected the Aetherian academy to actually manage to clear that massive wave today." The announcer began causing everybody to come back to their senses after Rivock’s earlier performance.

"... Anyway; it’s time for the Umbrafell academy to take on their own waves. Afterwards, wherever they pause at, the Noxarian academy will come to take on their own remaining waves."

The announcer paused for a moment as if receiving feedback from the leaders.

"Also; I’m just getting information that to make this faster, nobody will be able to pause. What the leader gave to the Noxarian academy was just a person gift so they could get new weapons.

For the remaining waves, nobody is stopping unless they can not go further on. Then they allowed to quit."

Grey hearing this, heaved a sigh of relief.

"So without further ado, let the Umbrafell academy step forward."

Slowly but surely, the North booth opened up and from it, six students walked forward with a female leading them all.

She had beautiful black hair which were tied into a neat ponytail.

Spear clutched confidently in hand as she straightened her gait and stepped forward without any falter in her movements.

Behind her were five others. A mixture of both male and females but mostly females.

All of them were dressed in ashen attires and soon, filed onto the arena without any hesitation.

Closing his eyes, Grey’s brow lifted up in shock.

’Stage five warriors? What the actual fuck? None of them are below the stage five. Woah, woah, woah! This will be crazy.’

The Umbrafell students were ready.

The girl in front was Mina— Beatrix’s personal student and the girl who was set to become and even bigger legend than her teacher herself.

The others held either spears or longswords in hands.

Everything to just give them the length advantage.

They were ready. And without wasting time, the portal opened up two metres away from them.

The start of the first wave for the Umbrafell academy had begun.

A group of six stage five warriors against a Divine ranked beasts.

It was clear that things were about to be bloodily good.

Someone from the crowd yelped out as they stared at their feet yet they couldn’t see anything.

Someone sitting beside them turned to face them.

— What happened?

— I could have sworn that I felt something blitz past my feet while piercing me at the same time.

— Huh? What do you m...

Another person trailed off as they also yelped loudly while throwing their legs in the air.

— Something just went past me!

Reviews kept coming in from all around as one by one, the spectators kept complaining about the same thing.

Only a few didn’t make a big scene of it as they decided to keep their attention on the battle that was about to begin.

Still, the seven thousand spectators weren’t too comfortable about this but they chose to ignore it and only sought to mumble under their breaths while watching the battle that was about to begin.

The portal tore open and from it came a single Divine ranked beast.

A second later, the portal snapped shut.

With that, the beast charged towards the group of Umbrafell students that didn’t even flinch at all.

"Remember. We need to show our instructors and leaders that we are capable of holding down our own faction when the time comes. We have to show them that everything they have taught us wasn’t in vain." Mina shouted aloud at the others behind her.

The beast wasn’t about to give the squad a moment for sentimental speeches.

It swiftly reached where Mina stood and quickly lashed out with its claws towards her head.

With a fluid, gentle move of her ki infused hand, the girl managed to parry the claws away in the way that the momentum of the beast didn’t slow down one bit.

Instead, it went tumbling to the side.

A perfect position for two of the other students to materialize before it with a stab towards its head at tremendous speed that most wouldn’t be able to avoid.

But not the beast.

It quickly twisted its body around throwing itself off balance and crashing into the ground while sending the students thrusting forward for a moment.

The beast sprang off from the ground in a flash and quickly shot towards the students.

But with nice fluidity, they managed to stop their momentum abruptly while twirling around and swinging their spears towards the beast charging at them like a baseball bat of some sort.

WAM—!

The spears crashed into the beast’s face with brutal energy causing droplets of blood to spray out as it suddenly stopped its charge.

Head disorientated as it began shaking its head trying to steady itself.

But it was too late.

All it saw through its somewhat hazy vision was a piercing blue eyes staring at it calmly as if it didn’t fear the beast in all it’s power and rank.

A spear lashed out from below at a speed far beyond what a stage five warrior should be capable of performing.

The tip of the spear began glowing with a fierce orange light as it rapidly approached the beast.

In a second, it smashed into its head. Spear eating through both fur, flesh and skull.

The head of the beast swelled up and instantly exploded on itself before crashing towards Mina.

She easily sidestepped while swinging her spear which was still glowing with a fiery orange shine at its tip.

The blood on the spear rose up and splattered on the ground.

Everybody stared with shock at this marvelous display.

The battle hadn’t even lasted a minute and it was over?

But one person was more shocked than the others.

Grey!
