"Immortality? What do you mean?"

With frown brows the young lady asked Leon. The concept of Immortality had always been in existence with many experts at the top claiming to one day reach it.

But till today, no one could boast of reaching that goal, not those at level 5 would boast of true immortality. So over the years it subconsciously faded into the mind as something that could no be reached no matter how hard one tries.

"Yes, that’s the only think that will make me trade him with you"

Leon said this knowing fully well that she couldn’t have the method, at least not the type he sort for

Even when he risked his life at elodria he knew what he was fighting for wasn’t true immortality. The type Leon wanted could not be easily attained.

"This concept is not something someone of your level should be thinking about. Make another request" after understanding Leon’s words she responded in a rather hash tone.

Even she, who was at the peak of Leon two couldn’t even begin to fathom eternity and this little minnow was doing so already?

Laughable!!!

"Haha, sister Victoria, its normal for us your talents to dream. After all, we haven’t gone so far in our path....who knows? One of use might reach level 5 after putting in effort"

One of the captain Said with wide eyes and a lofty posture. There was no one here that didn’t harbour some sort of massive dream that sounded absurd outloud, and they had the right to have those.

After all, they were young and strong. Their future couldn’t be dictated by anyone.

"Hmp!!! He has to prove it first....." The captain Victoria didn’t back down. She continued staring at Leon intensely waiting for an answer.

"I don’t really have anything to ask for.....however, you can do me three future favors. Nothing humiliating, or too difficult." Leon seeing that she would not back off agreed to her challenge.

At least he would get a few favours from her this way.

"However, I won’t be participating in this Challange. Hes the one at threat of losing his freedom, I will let him fight." Leon said with firmness. It made sense, she was offering to but levi like a common prostitute.

That was tantamount to slavery.

"Hmp!! You’re the one who will take his freedom not me" Leon was trying to paint her badly, she wanted levi because she appreciated his rarity and was eager to know more about him.

She was a snake lover and didn’t like to enslave her little bundles of joy.

"Hehe, whatever, shall we begin?" Leon laughed off her brash retort and proceeded to commence this challage.

"Good, let’s begin. Reek, Frusa, temper, all of you come out!!" The captain victoria commanded, and just them several Serpents began to slither out of her robes and onto the ground.

They were of varying shapes and sizes with colour combinations as beautiful as could be.

They all hissed at Leon with a mocking tone. They were all peak level 2 beasts, the same rank as levi. However, they were five in number.

There was no winning this fight for Leon. If he had known, he would have made some rules instead of brashly asking for the fight to begin.

"I see" Leon wasn’t deterred, he stood there looking at the serpents with amusement as levi slowly fell from his sleeve onto the ground.

But Instead of facing the serpents, levi slithering towards Leon like a scared little cat. It seemed like it understood that it was no match for the serpents infront of him., but his ignorant master was oblivious.

"Don’t worry little one, my babies won’t hurt you.....just...." The captain victoria saw this cute gesture and tried to calm levi down.

However she didn’t expect what would happen next.

As levi coiled around Leon, he began to grow in size, From his leg to the sky above Leon. He grew to twice Leon’s size and beared down on the five serpent before him.

—Roar!!!!!!!

A monsterous voice resounded from levis maw freezing everyone in the hall in one place.

What the hell was this ?

Did this puny little serpent just grow into a monster? This didn’t make sense. They all racked their brain. But they were thinking of the wrong thing.

Levi hadn’t just grown in size, he had grown in strength too. To be precise, levi was a grade 3 beast (level 3)

"This....." Victoria was stunned. She had thought that Leon was inexperienced by places levi against 5 peak grade 2 beasts, but it seemed like she was the one who didn’t know what she was up against here.

At the sight of the massive levi, all the serpents on the ground shivered and looked back at victoria. It was primal instinct, faced against a monster this powerful they couldn’t help but want to run.

They still needed Victoria’s go ahead though.

"Back to me" Seeing that she had erred, victoria called back her serpents. She didn’t want them to fight a battle that couldn’t be won.

She was not heartless.

"I win" Leon smiled no fighting was needed. at the sight of levi, they scattered like little mice.

Leon couldn’t help but sigh, levi had been eating up all his food and money for so long, finally he had come to some use. It was a good investment.

"No, I still have someone that can compete with him, just give me a minute so I can go get him" victoria refused to back down.

Apparently, she too had a grade 3 beast laying around somewhere.

"You can’t take a loss victoria? When did you develop this attitude?" At then helm of the hall the High Arbiter said with displeasure.

She had lost now she wanted to bring in a more powerful opponent? Where was that done In this world? It was just shameless.

"You..." The captain Victoria turned to scold the High Arbiter, but immediately corrected herself. She had a hot temper.

"A loss is a loss" the High Arbiter doubled down. Victoria was overbearing and it was partially his fault.

He pampered her too much.

"Hmm, I understand master" nodding her head, victoria bowed to the High Arbiter and stepped back.

She now owed Leon favors, and lost levi. She couldn’t be anymore pissed.

"No more Challanges, I called you here for a reason" the High Arbiter raised his hand and said.

He knew these little bastards if he didn’t put a Cork In it right now they would challange him one after the other until he was exhausted.

He wouldn’t let this happen, especially to Leon. He feared that if they pushed him to far, Leon would start using soul energy againt them.

"Yes sir" with some disappointment, they all stepped back. The High Arbiter was their master, they had to listen to what he had to say.

"Hmmm good" sighing in relief the High Arbiter looked at Leon and nodded in praise.

Leon hadn’t gone against anyone low ranked, even if they wanted to challenge him they would have to count Victoria’s loss as she was very vengeful.

It would be a case of so you think you’re more competent that me? The she would chase them to the ends of the earths. It was better to have victoria as his only rival than have all of them.

At least he could control victoria.

"So....who has heard that the supreme leader is looking to take in an outer disciple?" The high Arbiter asked calmly But his eyes shone with an irresistible glow.

The supreme leader of the bloodserpent clan had suddenly decided to turn the clan over its head the week before causing everyone to panic.

He was going to take in an outer disciple. This was big news!!!! If anyone could have the opportunity to be directly under the supreme leader wouldn’t they just break through the roof in one night?

Riches, spells and resources that no one could get, this was like a dream to everyone.

But

"He Is taking in just one.....I know all of you want to try your luck and as your master I can only be thrilled for your future growth"

Taking another master without first surpassing your previous master was taboo in finor world. But outer disciples didn’t mean anything.

They were just people that would be taught casual.

Still this was a great opportunity for whomever wanted to grab it.

"Thank you master" they all bowed upon hearing the High Arbiter. The old man was everything but selfish, he treated them more like his children than his disciples..allowing them the room to surpass even him.

"That’s not all, I will also give all of you a chance to soak in my personal blood pool in preparation for the competition" the High Arbiter continued.

He knew what the supreme leader was up to and whole heartedly supported it, so he would do his own part in making such it Was a success.
