A few minutes after Avon entered the bloodpool, Leon followed suit.

But he wasn’t here to refine his bloodline like the rest of them, he was out here for treasure hunting.

"It’s now or never"

Far away atop a rock next the the bloodpool, Victoria’s figure could be seen. Right now she wasn’t on her usually loose robes. What she had on now was ab airtight latex pants and top.

She too was only just now preparing to dive into the bloodpool.

And it wasn’t just her, almost all the captains dived in at almost the same time as Leon.

(It’s getting harder to see,)

Leon complained. His decent was fast, and was able to bycut all the others that were there. Leon’s speed was attributed to his last expedition to the bottom of the manapool in eldoria.

However, he had now encountered an issue. For some reason the lower he went, the more saturated the blood in the pool was.

(Use the lumisight Eyes old man)

Levi Said telepathically to Leon from no particular direction, although Leon could tell that he was always right next to us.

(Yeah, thats right,)

Leon nodded In understanding, he had totally forgotten about his precious lumisight Eyes.

He closed his eyes, and when he opened it next, a bright blue light shone from within allowing him to see much more clearly.

(Good, let’s keep going)

Levi nodded and continued swimming deeper into the pool with Leon en-tow. As they went down, Leon noticed an alarming amount of beast corpses littered all over the pool.

The number in Leon’s mind previously was eclipses by the reality. To create this pool, alot of beasts had been used.

After a while

"There it is"

With alot of excitement, levi pointed out the corspe of a gigantic beaat seated at the bottom of the pool.

The beast sat upright lime a human and towered above Leon making him look like a kid in comparison. One thing was sure though, it was dead beyond the shadow Of the doubt.

(This energy.....its so similar to life energy) Leon mused while inspect the corspe.

He didn’t know exactly what this was, but it seemed to be important. There were several other smaller Corpses like it surrounding it with their palms open.

It was like a ritual sacrifice ceremony.

(I can’t take it, it’ll cause problems)

Leon mused, whatever this was, it wasn’t something he could steal without it catching the attention of the high Arbiter.

Biting off more than he could chew was the easiest way to lose his head.

(I’ll drain some of its life energy, you go ahead and take what you can, just make sure its not visible to the naked eye,)

Leon looked to levi and said.

Even though it was dead, it contained life-energy that vastly eclipsed anything Leon could find.....even the High Arbiter didn’t emitte this kind of energy.

Just a little bit was enough, Leon was going to attempt to break into the middle stages of level 3. And as for levi...he could have his fill of the Giants flesh, as long as he didn’t make it too obvious. ..

"Life devourer"

Leon activated his life devourer Orb and slowly started improving his Site and body.

Meanwhile,

Victoria and a few others arrived before the border between the normal bloodpool and the saturated one.

From what they knew, and what they had been told. It was a taboo to go underneath the saturated region.

It was said that In that region, one could easily get lost and never come back alive. This was one of the more tamed theories.

Some say the spirit of the beasts killed to create this pool hunted whomsoever chose to pass into the saturated region.

"Hmmmm" Victoria looked around and nodded before entering a state of meditation. For her, to grow stronger couldn’t be dictated by the amount of blood energy she allowed in.

No, what she needed was comprehension. With that, the possibility of entering level 4 was very high.

For now though, she could only wait.

Similar scenes like these were happening all over the pool, they had 7 days in here, and they would make every second count.

And so they first day went. Nothing special happened there, not a single breakthrough, everyone just meditated and tried to get a feel on the energy of the pool...this repeated itself on the 2nd and 3rd day until .

—Boom

Thr first person to break through rared his head and it was none other than Queen.

He had always been a talent, one that surpassed even his brother. All he needed to do most times was put in some effort then he would eventually be successful.

This was expected of him.

But the next person to break through was an absolute surprise to everyone here.

The one who’s potential had been predicted since his birth, on the fourth day, Avon broke through to the peak of level 3.

This now meant that the enforcement units now had three peak level 3 captains in their ranks.

This was a very welcomed development. But this wasn’t the end. On that very day, Leon appeared in the horizon far away from where the captains were meditating.

He purposefully created distance from them so he could exist the saturated part without causing problems for himself.

When he did appear however, Victoria could only nod in approval. Leon had entered the middle stage of level 3 too.

Within a span of 4 days, they had seen 3 breakthroughs. Even with the bloodpool, this kind of feat was very difficult. The High Arbiter had the eyes for picking talents.

But,

All their efforts were soon ecpliced as on a particular night, inside the pool something absolutly shocking happened.

Victoria broke through to level 4.

Just this breakthrough was enough to make everyone tensed, the sheer amount of energy she released showed that she was now realms ahead of them.

She even gave Queen and his brother some dirty looks before swimming out of the pool. Unlike the rest, she had been in the peak of level 3 the longest.

With Qing entering the peak followed by Avon, she knew she could no longer stay there.....they were the drive that pushed her to break through.

(Hehe, so much tension)

Leon smiled at the scenes unfolding before him. They were technically all disciples of the high Arbiter and they seemed to all hate each other.

This was so strange.
