Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 199: Dangers of Trafalgar forest

About 15km away from where the bloodserpent clans members entered the Trafalgar forest.

A troop of about a 100 men and women cloaked in black could be seen assembled right outside of Trafalgar forest.

"your targets are the cream of the crop in the bloodserpent clan as such, the reward for killing them will be of best quality." In front of them a fairly aged man with a bone helmet spoke in a loud voice attempting to rile up the crowd.

The announcement from the bloodserpent clans Supreme leader had reached them too and they saw this as an opportunity to take out their most dreaded enemies.

"Kill those dirty blood suckered!! And his lordship will give you the world!!!" The man’s voice echoed and was recieved with cheers of hot bloodedness.

The hatred for the bloodserpent clan was age long. Their ancestors hated them and so did they. Any opportunity to get at them was an opportunity they would take no matter what.

Soon they rushed into the forest with a variety of weapons all meant to cut down bloodserpent clan members.

While unknown to them, the blood serpent clan members made their way deeper and deeper into the Trafalgar forest.

"I know the general terrain for the growth of the jade tip stems.....they grow very deep in the forest quite close to the fal area so this might be a bit dangerous" Victoria spoke infront of the group she led. That is, the enforcement units captains.

"So whomever wants to back out now should probably do so, I won’t be able to protect you all as you know.....the Fal area contains beasts at level 4" she continued.

Not only the tra area, even the fal area contained grade four beasts, the herbs the supreme leader asked for were just too hard to find.

If they all went in there would definitely be deaths. That’s forgetting the fact that other factions would be there too.

"Haha, Big sister Victoria, we all know the risks. But the rewards though....we can’t afford to let such an opportunity slip" Yankai said loudly. He was very open about what he wanted and didn’t see the need to stare into the void brooding like an edgelord.

"Yes, he’s right, we all know the risks" Leon nodded in agreement before walking past Victoria.

"Hm?" Victoria frowned but her eyes stayed glued on his figure as Leon walked up to a tree and took a knee beside it.

"There’s something over there" he pointed at an empty space down below from where they stood.

It was an open land area devoid of trees. But it seemed like this was not always the case. Those trees had been apparently cut down.

"What are you talking about, I don’t sense anything there" Victoria squinted her brows. But even then she couldn’t sense anything...that was until.

The sound of a body mass falling to the ground sounded behind them followed by an intense struggling.

"Hm?" Victoria quickly turned back to meet the sight of a young lad struggling against Leon’s serpent.

"Ah? We were being followed?" Victoria frowned. She was already a level 4 warlock , how was she not able to notice this person following them?

While Victoria looked om with confusion levi tighten his grip around the person, slowly squeezing the life out of him.

Victoria couldn’t notice this person because he had used a spell that completely masked his life energy to the limits. Coupled with his sneaking ability he was able to fly under Victoria’s radar because she was constantly scanning for threats.

His energy levels were too little to be considered a threat, so he registered as an ordinary creature. This was no threat so he didn’t register in her scans.

Luckily, even the faintest energy signatures could be seen by levi.

"Aii, I know the guy, he’s from the assassin unit. Don’t those guys usually operate outside of the city? What is he doing here?" Avon stepped forward and examined the unconscious guy.

It was normal for people to follow each other in this place, especially when most of the participants didn’t know the description of the herbs requested talkess of the habitats which they normally grew in.

"It’s indeed strange, but who knows? The allure might have been too much for this one" Leon shook his head then stretched his hand causing levi to shrink and fly into his robes.

"We need to be more careful as we go on" Victoria nodded.

Leon had distracted the guy by pointing out a none existent enemy in front so levi could sneak up on the spy.

It was a good strategy.

"Yeah" Leon nodded, but strangely he was still focusing on the empty patch of land before him as if he could see something no one else could.

After a while though, Leon stood up and followed behind Victoria as they proceeded deeper and deeper into the Trafalgar forest.

The forest was massive, with trees and shrubs as many as blades of grass in a savanna. It would take an extremely experienced hunter to navigate the terrain of Trafalgar forest to its fullest.

Even that was extremely hard because—

The sound of a lizard monster resounded in the forest as it engaged a bunch of warlocks.

" BloodSerpent work : Bloodlight pericer"

Creatures like these littered Trafalgar forest. They were massive and would frequently attack unprovoked. Plotting a route or mapping the forest was made impossible by these guys.

"Combined!!"

Leon’s silhouette flashed as he appeared right beside the Giant lizard with a big dagger.

—shuuuu

With a spin mid air, he propelled himself towards its left eye and directly stabbed it in the eye.

—Roar!!!!

The giant lizard screamed in pain and flung Leon off him throwing him into a tree not too far away.

—Boom

"Ouch" Leon rubbed his head in pain as he looked at the lizard not too far away.

—Roar!!!!

Noticing that Leon was still alive the lizard began running towards him with hate filled in its left eye.

Immediately Leon saw this he raised his dagger to defend himself. Unfortunately, he noticed that his dagger had been broken with the top half being stuck in the eye socket of the lizard.

He had spent alot of money and sweat to create this dagger and it broke just like that? This was painful.

"Fuck it" Leon shook his head then he snapped his fingers.

—Boom!!!

The other side of the dagger that was attached to the giant lizard exploded sending shards of itself scattering all through its skull killing it instantly.

"Sigh!!" Leon sighed as he watched the body of the giant lizards corspe fall to the side.

This place was more dangerous than he thought. They hadn’t even gotten halfway through the Tra area of the forest when they were besieged by 3 giant lizard creatures.

Yes, this was just one of them. A 100 meters beside him, Victoria and several others were currently fighting the others.
