Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 236: King Under The Mountain
Inside the main Auction theater, several figures of high standing began to take their seats dialing down the festive atmosphere of seeing old friends once again.
"Hm?" As two figures walked down the steps seemingly looking for their designated seats, one stop aburbtly and stared intently at an old man with wrinkly skin and a silly look on his face.
Noticing the gaze, the wrinkly faced old man turned to the man and smiled kindly as if wondering what the man wanted.
"Hmmm, I must have been mistaken" the man shook his head and turned around, "Hey big guy, where did you go?"
He noticed his companion wasn’t in sight so he called out with no regard for the other individuals present.
"Here" from inside the crowd, his companions raised his hand indicating that their seats were there. So the man rushed over and took his seat next to him down below.
"Hehe, you really have some pull to get us such nice seats huh big guy?" The man said to his companion with a relaxed look on his face. They were much closer to the stage than half of those present. It denoted a form affluence.
"Don’t call me that, my title is Divine kang" his companion complained revealing that he was indeed Divine kang.
"Divine my ass," the man scuffed..kang didn’t know what was good for him. Calling himself Divine would someday put him in alot of trouble with some powerful beings.
However, that had nothing to do with him right now.
He then turned to where the wrinkly old man was seated and shook his head once more.
(It’s not the same feeling, definitely not)
The man shook his head. Right now, he felt a familiar presence emitting from the wrinkly old man seated at the back, so he was wondering if it was who he thought it was.
Unfortunately, the feeling was subtle and quickly disappeared making him think it was a figment of his imagination.
"Shut up Bran, it’s about to begin" Divine Kang said to the man before Turing back to the stage.
Meanwhile,
(Very effective.....I wonder)
The wrinkly old man at the back smirked evily while looking at Brans back. Clearly he had some malicious intent.
This was natural Leon in disguise.
At that moment, Leon was in his entirety using soul energy as he power source and had just a tinge of negative energy when he was noticed by Bran.
Now, he understood how Bran was tracking him and it was done in a split second.
"Soon" Leon muttered before turning to face the stage too.
"Good day esteemed guest from all over the scared land. I welcome you to this prestigious exchange"
A monster of an individual about 8ft tall with four arms and blue skin spoke loudly on stage drawing the attention of those around.
The king Under The Mountain.
This was one of the few most infulencial figures in the sacred land. He was a lone survivor of a dead clan, but his strength alone gained him the authority to stand as an entity equal to the clans.
Only a powerful figure like this could auction to the people in his hall. He was free from all external influences and would be fair to a fault, that was why the celestial merchant group hired him.
"Haha, today, the king under the mountain will be an auctioneer under the city, what a twist" the gigantic man made a very bad joke.....
But, for some reason, it was met with meme subtle chuckles and some uncontrollable laughter. It seemed like an inside joke or something.

Leon didn’t know what it was though, he could only sit and watch blankly as the old man spoke.
"So many familiar and terrifying faces here today, Senior Seven wings, Devil Bird old man, Berserker Long. Haha, not to mention the old monsters of the blood clans."
"You are all welcome..." with two of his forearms pressed on his belle, he bowed.
The people here were not ordinary, some were so much older and so much powerful than him that, he who could stand against the clans had no choice but to bow his head.
"Now, we’ll start with the pleminary auction " after raising to his feet, the king under the mountain reached to the side and a female, almost as tall as he stepped forward to give him a tray with a potion bottle on it.
"Dought liner of the 4th grade" he called out its name.
This was an industrial potion used to alter landscapes. It was particularly precious to water affinity clans as it allowed them to keep their territory in check and stop it from leaking into others.
The drought liner could stop water from flowing from their habitat into other clans, but it could also cause them alot of harm if poured into the habitat. As such it was paramount that all drought liner potions stay in the hands of water affinity clans.
This was easier said than done tho.
"10,000 phase 1 blood gems"
"12,000 phase 1 blood gems"
"12,500 phase 1 blood gems"
Whoever placed this in the auction, intended to do harm to the water clans...or at least extort them a little bit. The politics behind it was complicated, it might even be another water affinity clan trying to swindle the rest.
This was their burden though, the sacred lands were unforgiving.
After a bit of haggling
"Sold at 25,000 phase 1 blood gems"
This was BloodRock city, everything was done with blood gems and the celestial merchant group made sure of that.
"Now, going to our next item" the king under the mountain smirked. No one knew this, but he was the one who put the drought liner there to mess with the water clans.
He just wanted to piss a few old monsters off. What could they do? Chase him off the stage? Impossible, he already had a contract with the celestial merchant group.
"Uhhhh what is this?"
"Oh yeah liner bow"
They continued bidding item after item each of varying quality and importance in about 30 minutes of the auction items worth 6 million phase 1 blood gems had been sold.
This auction was supposed to go on for the who night.
"This one.....no description, if you know of its value then bid on it....starring price is 250,000 phase 1 blood gems"
After a while, the king under the mountain pulled out a black metal dagger emitting a strange hue and presented it before the crowd.
The person that had placed it up for auction didn’t seen to care about whether or not it got sold, he just wanted to see if he could get rid of it and make some money....but if that wasn’t the case then it was not a problem to him.
"That’s soul energy" At the back of the auction, a wrinkly old man squinted his brows in contemplation before slowly raising his left hand.
