Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 257: Celebration And Talk Of War
"Beauties"
"Music"
"Dance"
Drothan, the old man from Eldoria, swung his hand and beautiful ladies with angelic wings and fair skin flooded the room, beginning to dance while singing. They gracefully moved through the crowd, caressing the chests of the young men of the myriad clans.
"Colorful light doves," one of the young disciples of the myriad clans commented as he saw the beauties dancing around. The beauties of the Colorful Dove Clan were among the most beautiful in all the Sacred Lands.
So much so that the Golden Griffin Clan had to give them a special haven inside Griffin City just to protect them from the lustful beasts of the Sacred Lands.
"What a blissful experience," one of the disciples of the Blood Serpent Clan commented while ignoring the stares of Victoria and the other females at the table. They would surely see him as lecherous, but they would be mistaken if they thought he was the only one feeling tempted.
It was a male impulse; even the Supreme Leader with all his grace was not exempt from this feeling between his legs.
"Hmph," the females snorted before turning away. Victoria, in particular, played with a pitch-black snake wrapped around her neck, moving hypnotically to the sound of the music.
A few minutes passed, and the sound of two consecutive claps resounded from the helm of the hall where the three Sky Sovereigns sat.
Just as it rang out, all the ladies abruptly stopped their dance and exited through side doors and curtains. It was as if they had served their purpose.
"Hm?" A few short seconds later, the leaders of the myriad clans felt something missing on their persons, which made them frown.
"Now that we are all relaxed, let’s get down to business," the first Sky Sovereign, Ziaman, said with a smile.
At that very moment, all forms of communication between them and the outside world had been cut off. This included special methods brought in by the leaders of the myriad clans. All this was done during the previous dance.
Speculations began to fly in the minds of those present as those who had participated in the event 10 years ago began to tense up.
Did they just walk into a trap?
"We are approaching war, ladies and gentlemen. I’m sure the more connected ones among you have received news," Ziaman said calmly, looking around the room. His words brought the room from a relaxed atmosphere to one of intensity in a split second.
War.
Yes, most of them had already heard about the war. They were on good terms with the monks up in the Undergod Monastery, so naturally, they knew what was happening over there.
Leon had witnessed it firsthand back in the Eylis Dukedom. Of course, he didn’t know what was actually going on, but it was evident that a scheme was behind the shadows.
"The scum at the Celestial Palace have finally overreached their hand and offended the only power keeping us away from them. We must quickly make use of this golden opportunity to push them further inland," Ziaman’s words flipped the tone of the environment from calm to intense in an instant.
Conquest.
Apparently, the people from the mage side (Celestial Palace) had been slowly buying over powers in the Undergod Territory, making them puppets and gradually manipulating them to cause chaos.
The battle between the Eylis Duke and his sons was one such event, where the Monastery used its power to subjugate a demonic figure sent from the Celestial Palace. It had only gotten worse from there, so the Undergod Monastery decided to take more drastic measures.
They were going to purge the Undergod Territory of all Celestial Palace influence and had contacted the Sacred Lands for help. Escalating the matter from there was child’s play.
"Ohhh," hearing the explanation, Leon couldn’t help but smile with intrigue as a flash of light passed through his eyes.
War was the easiest way to make a name for oneself. It was a treasure trove of opportunities for those with power. But of course, there was still a lot that needed to be done before this.
"I and the other great heads have already agreed on which clans will participate, so you will be receiving your requests later on. For now, let my Golden Griffin Clan bless the younger generation of the Sacred Land," Ziaman said before proceeding to look at the celebrant Drothan.
To which Drothan nodded and stood up to his feet.
"With the power vested in me as the third Sky Sovereign of the Golden Griffin Clan, I hereby pronounce that by dusk, the Royal Walkway will be open."

As those words left his mouth, the entire room erupted in chaos, with many mouths hanging open in shock and awe.
The Golden Griffin Clan’s Royal Walkway.
It was the special treasured phenomenon that appeared 10 years ago, which allowed Thane to enter the untouchable realm of Level 5.
They were willing to open it once again? That was crazy!
Murmurs soon filled the room as even the Supreme Leader of the Blood Serpent Clan and many other clans were not ready for this information. Immediately, their minds began to kick into overdrive.
This was a crazy opportunity. Even if it didn’t result in the rise of a Level 5 existence, something on the level of Kang could be produced.
Of course, there was still the possibility…
"Wait a minute, dusk when?" the Supreme Leader of the Blood Serpent Clan asked, staring cautiously at the three Sky Sovereigns.
"No time like tomorrow," with a casual shrug, Ziaman set the time for the event, and it wouldn’t even be a day later.
"Then you must excuse us, Sovereigns," the Clan Leader of the Unique Claw Clan stood up and bowed. There was no time at all; they had to prepare.
Before their very eyes, this once calm atmosphere of the room turned into chaos. Meanwhile, the three Sky Sovereigns could only sit and laugh mockingly.
These fools who had once gathered here to force their hand were now begging for crumbs from it.
...…..
"Supreme Leader," while Nephron stood in a huddle with the Bone Serpent old man, Black Wing, and several others, Zeke’s voice resounded next to him.
They were currently in the midst of planning for tomorrow. Treasures had to be brought out, talents had to be chosen to place emphasis on, alliances needed to be made, and it had to happen now to ensure a higher chance of success.
"What?" Nephron quickly turned to Zeke questioningly.
"The boy is gone," Zeke said with some hesitation. Immediately after the announcement, Leon had slipped away from the hall without anyone noticing, not even him.
"Where to?" Nephron asked.
"I don’t know."
