Manaless Mage-Chapter 310: Let’s see if you’ll still enjoy yourself
Chapter 310: Chapter 310: Let’s see if you’ll still enjoy yourself
The light swords hovered in a perfect ring around Miranda, their radiant edges humming with violent energy.
Miranda’s eyes flickered with determination, and she suddenly swiped her fingers through the air.
Shhhhrreeeooom!
The ten blades of light shot forward at terrifying speed, slicing through the air like divine retribution aimed straight at Harry.
They moved in a synchronized storm of deadly arcs—each one charged with enough power to cleave through stone, steel, and bone alike.
But Harry didn’t flinch.
The moment the swords closed in, he moved.
His body leaned forward as his hands finally slipped out from his pockets.
He swiftly pulled out his daggers, their curved, sleek blade glinting under the light.
He dashed forward—straight toward the oncoming barrage.
Miranda’s eyes widened slightly. ’He’s not running away?’
Wind screamed around them as Harry met the first two swords head-on.
Clang—Zzzzzhh!
With fluid, arcing swings, he struck the two leading blades of light.
Upon impact, they didn’t clash—the swords simply evaporated, dissolving into thin particles of golden light.
Miranda’s lips parted in shock. ’What...? He destroyed them, just like that?!’
Each of the blades were created by powerful light magic compressed over and over again.
They shouldn’t be so weak that a swing from just one dagger would easily destroy them.
However, Harry somehow managed to shatter them so easily, and she felt like the gap between their powers might be greater than she realised.
Nonetheless, her control didn’t falter, and her fingers snapped downwards, taking control of the remaining right swords
They twisted in mid-air, splitting paths in a coordinated manifest to surround Harry from all angles.
If he speed was being too much of a problem, all she had to do was try to limit his movements, and he would fall into her trap!
Harry easily saw through her plan, and he scoffed under his breath.
’Do you think this kind of thing would work against me?!’ He thought, blue sparks of lightning violently flickering around his body.
His speed immediately increased, and the swords approaching him slowed down greatly.
He ducked under the first sword, side-stepped the second, twisted his body through a narrow opening between the third and fourth.
Swoosh!
The fifth and sixth spun sharply in the air, closing in on him from both sides.
However, he swiftly swung his daggers at then, deflecting them with two clean slashes.
The light swords immediately evaporated into thin air, leaving behind tiny light particles.
Miranda frowned and this, finding how he was easily overwhelming her rather annoying.
Those were powerful tier three spells she was using, which should have been enough to take down any stage three Elementalist.
Yet, they all seemed naught in front of Harry.
Swoosh!
The seventh came from above, but he leapt sideways, twisting midair as it narrowly missed him.
As he twisted, the last sword came charging at him from behind, trying to disturb his momentum.
But then, he quickly unleashed two slash waves of lightning, sending one towards each of them.
The swords immediately shattered into pieces, their particles vanishing into thin air.
Miranda’s breath caught in her throat. ’How the hell is he—?!’
Harry smirked. Bright blue lightning exploded around his body in the next instant—violent, chaotic, beautiful. It roared to life, wrapping around him like a storm that had finally been unchained, and the air itself trembled under its intensity.
Crack! freёwebnoѵel.com
The earth beneath his feet split as his speed surged to new heights.
Then—
Swoosh!
He vanished from the girl’s sight.
Miranda’s instincts screamed.
She leapt backwards, her boots blasting the dirt beneath her. Her breath caught as she scanned the surroundings, heart racing, eyes searching to see where he might attack from.
However, it was already too late, as Harry suddenly reappeared behind her, one of his daggers arching cleanly towards her abdomen.
But Miranda was a combat genius—her body moved even before her mind caught up.
Fwooom!
A small, concentrated shield of compressed wind exploded over her midsection, swirling in dense currents just as the dagger closed in.
CRACK—CRACK—CRACK!
The moment Harry’s blade collided with the shield, spiderweb-like cracks instantly spread across its surface.
Miranda clenched her jaw.
The next second, the shield shattered.
BOOM!
Fragments of wind scattered like glass, and his dagger pierced cleanly through her uniform, slicing into her flesh with brutal precision.
"Argh!" She grunted, the pain shooting through her side. Blood seeped down her waist as her knees buckled slightly. But before he could pull away, her hand shot out and gripped his wrist—tightly.
Her fingers dug into his skin as she gasped through the pain. Her eyes met his—burning, determined, furious.
"You... bastard..." She hissed through gritted teeth.
But Harry just looked down at her, unfazed.
"That was a good block," He said flatly, almost like he was giving her a lesson.
Lightning crackled from his free arm, ready to strike again.
But Miranda wasn’t done.
"Raging Tornado!" She shouted, swinging her other hand towards his face.
BOOM!
A vortex of concentrated wind erupted from her palm, exploding outward in a spiral.
The blast slammed into Harry, the sheer force of it flinging him backwards like a rag doll.
FWOOSH!!!
The wind kept spinning around Harry, rapidly blossoming into a massive tornado, which swallowed him whole.
The tornado violently uprooted different trees, and even chunks of the earth, swirling up to the skies.
"Ugh..." Harry grunted, feeling a bit dizzy as the wind current carried him left and right.
Swoosh!
A large tree suddenly drifted his way, but he quickly sliced it with a wind slash.
’Such a powerful spell!’ He thought, smirking to himself.
[Yeah. She’s very talented.]
Harry clicked his tongue when he heard the familiar voice of Leon in his head, and his eyes narrowed.
’I almost thought you’ve forgotten about me.’ He thought. ’But yeah, I never thought I’ll see someone as talented as this.’
Meanwhile, outside the tornado, Miranda clasped her palms together, summoning a thick pair of lightning gloves over her hand.
Crackle!
Crackle!
’I wonder if you’ll still have fun while getting swallowed up by a lightning tornado!’ She thought, lightning crackling violently around her hands.
"Lightning Blast!"
