Chapter 249: TWO CHAEBOL ALPHAS

SOHEE wanted to comfort Kim Woochul who locked himself up in the playroom.

But his son didn’t want him there.

Fortunately, Kim Woochul allowed Kim Woosung and Kim Woohee to accompany him.

I can hear the three of them crying together.

It was cute, but it broke his heart hearing his babies cry.

I should prepare something for their throats later.

Hence, Sohee returned to the kitchen.

Lim Garam was already preppring what they’d be cooking because they were going to have dinner with their friends later. While doing so, the older Omega was scolding his son.

"Gunwoo-ya, I’m proud of you for putting boundaries. I wouldn’t have liked it if you had shown interest in a literal child even though you’re a child yourself. But you didn’t have to be so blunt. You could have turned down Chul-ah gently," Lim Garam scolded Song Gunwoo while cutting vegetables. "Plus, what did you say? You like older people? Son, if an older individual shows interest in you in a romantic or sexual way right now, then that person is bad. Call the police— no, call us. I’ll give that person a piece of my mind."

Pfft.

Sohee was amused because this was one of the few times that he had heard Lim Garam yap a lot.

Garam Hyung is usually calm and reserved.

"I understand, Dad, You’re right— I should have been more careful when rejecting Kim Woochul," Kim Gunwoo said. In fairness, the kid looked remorseful. But when he raised his head, he suddenly asked something that shocked both Sohee and Lim Garam. "But what’s wrong with liking an older person? Dad, you and Daddy have a pretty big age gap."

Aigoo.

Sohee covered his mouth with his hands when he gasped.

On the other hand, Lim Garam seemed to have been startled by Song Gunwoo’s question because he got distracted and cut his finger with the knife.

The finger bled immediately.

"Dad!"

"Garam Hyung!"

"I’m fine— it’s just a small cut. Don’t worry, Gunwoo-ya and Sohee-ya," Lim Garam said while washing his hand. The older Omega’s face was red as if he were flustered. But his eyes also showed annoyance. "Gunwoo-ya, remind me to kill your daddy once he returns from his business trip."

Song Gunwoo gulped nervously while nodding. "O-Okay, Dad..."

Sohee, on the other hand, couldn’t help but smile. "So, Sihyuk Hyung-nim is on a business trip, too? Kim Heedo also flew to Jeju for one."

"Jeju? What a coincidence— Sihyuk Hyung is also in Jeju right now," Lim Garam said, smiling. The older Omega looked like he was in a better mood now than he did when threatening to ’kill’ Song Sihyuk. "Jeju Island is small, so wouldn’t it be funny if Sihyuk Hyung and Kim Heedo met there?"

Right?

***

I ALREADY miss my family.

Kim Heedo left their house with a heavy heart so early in the morning.

My babies are still asleep, so I wasn’t able to say goodbye to them.

Park Sohee noticed that he was sad, so his kind-hearted husband offered to drive him to the airport.

But he didn’t want their babies to wake up without their mother.

So, Kim Heedo was driven by Shin Kang to the airport.

After all, Ahjussi is going with me to Jeju as my chief secretary anyway.

He spent the entire day missing the kids.

Originally, he was supposed to fly home tomorrow morning.

But he couldn’t stand not seeing his babies.

Especially since Woochul and Woosung are both upset with me.

Hence, Kim Heedo booked a flight that evening.

But when he arrived in the airport with Shin Kang, they found out that their flight was delayed.

And, so, they were forced to wait in the First-Class Lounge.

"Fancy meeting you here, Heedo-ya."

Tsk.

Kim Heedo wanted to click his tongue loudly.

But he reminded himself that he was no longer a child.

I’m a married man with three kids now.

And, so, he bowed his head politely.

"Hello, Sihyuk Hyung-nim."

The person that Kim Heedo greeted was the new chairman of SG Group— Song Sihyuk.

And this crazy bastard is Song Gunwoo’s father, aka the reason I don’t want that kid for my son.

"Why are you being formal?" Song Sihyuk asked, laughing softly. "Come and join me here."

The older Hyper-Dominant Alpha was already sitting at a table while having coffee.

His two secretaries were sitting at the other table.

Since Kim Heedo needed to maintain a good relationship with the SG Group, so he nodded politely before turning to Shin Kang.

He didn’t have to say anything.

Shin Kang bowed his head. "I’ll get you a cup of coffee, sir."

Kim Heedo just nodded, and then he joined Song Sihyuk at the table.

"So, we’re both flying commercial flights now despite having our own private planes, huh?" Song Sihyuk asked, smirking. "I bet your wife nagged you about flying on a private plane when Jeju is not even two hours away."

Kim Heedo flinched at how accurate Song Sihyuk’s guess was, but he just sighed and nodded in the end. "That’s right, Hyung-nim. Sohee Hyung isn’t really comfortable whenever we use my private plane since it’s bad for the environment."

"Right? Just like Lim Garam."

"They’re good and ethical people unlike us, Hyung-nim."

Song Sihyuk just chuckled, and then he changed the topic. "I heard my son rejected your son. The heir of SG Group turned down the future heir of Ilsung Group, huh? Interesting."

Tsk.

"It’s not because my son is lacking or anything," Sohee said defensively. He didn’t want Kim Woochul to be involved with anyone romantically since his child was still a baby. But he also didn’t like the arrogant look on Song Sihyuk’s face. "Plus, I would have killed your son if he looked at my six-year-old son inappropriately."

"The age gap that Gunwoo and Kim Woochul have won’t be that bad anymore once your son becomes an adult."

"Hyung-nim, do you not have a conscience?"

"Excuse me?"

Kim Heedo clenched his jaw tight. "Garam Hyung suffered a lot because you tricked him into marrying you when he was just in high school?"

"You don’t know anything about us, you bastard," Song Sihyuk said while glaring at Kim Heedo. "Yah, Kim Heedo. How dare you talk like that to me? Do you want to die?"

Hah.

Kim Heedo stood up and slammed his hands on the table. "Bring it on, Song Sihyuk."

"You disrespectful piece of shit— you’re dead!"

***

"SOHEE OPPA! Garam Oppa!"

Both Sohee and Lim Garam were startled when Hong Sera and Cho Euntak entered the mansion in a panic.

That already made him nervous.

"Have you seen the news?" Hong Sera asked worriedly. "The plane where Heedo and Sihyuk Hyung were on had crashed!"

Sohee gasped out loud, shocked and scared.

My husband was in a plane crash?!

And it wasn’t just Kim Heedo.

When Sohee turned to Lim Garam, he saw the older Omega fall to his knees.

Fortunately, Song Gunwoo caught his father in time.

No, it can’t be real...

Sohee realized that his knees also buckled when Cho Euntak caught him.

"Hyung..."

Sohee wanted to ask about the details, but he suddenly couldn’t breathe.

Heedo-ya...
