Married To The Last Ice Dragon-Chapter 149: Find me
River shook his head and frowned in displeasure. "Since when are you permitted to enter my personal life, Queen Sage Dragos?" He inquired angrily.
"It has been a while." Sage stated firmly. "Plus, I didn’t interfere; she simply told me to come with her and tell you because she is terrified of you for some reason." Sage then turned away and walked away.
Katherine sighed deeply and looked at River without blinking. "I have always stood up for myself, but you have broken my spirit. I am not sure what happened or why we fell in love, but I really want you to tell me everything without thinking of me as a pet." She spoke calmly.
"I will come to you when I have calmed down." He muttered, opened the door, walked in, and slammed the door hard.
Katherine sighed and ran in the direction Sage had taken, catching up to her and grabbing her arm. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦
Sage came to a halt, looked at her worried-looking friend, and smiled faintly. "To be honest, I won’t be happy for a while, but I will make sure I persuade Cyrus." She stated confidently.
"Do not worry about me, Sage; you need to concentrate on getting your husband back, not on me." Sage forced a smile as Katherine told her.
"You can practice spells and skills with me," Sage said, smiling.
"I am assuming you want to find a way to restore Cyrus’ normal state?" Sage nodded slowly when Katherine asked.
"Please don’t go so far as to want to use a forbidden spell," Katherine pleaded, and Sage laughed.
Sage was certain that Katherine was keeping the mages safe, which meant that Katherine had probably discovered some mages’ secrets. She might have discovered a book that would be very useful to her.
"I won’t," Sage grumbled. "You should go, Mirabella; I need to be alone for a while." Katherine nodded slowly as she told her.
"All right, I am hungry," Katherine said, and Sage smiled.
She turned away and walked back to her room, slamming the door shut and relaxing her back against the war with a frustrated sigh.
In frustration, she dug her fingers into her hair and walked towards the fire place, raking her hair continuously.
"What on earth is going on?" She screamed and hurled a full-force fireball at the fire.
Sage pursed her lips and sat on the ground in front of the fire, her gaze fixed on it, and the fire raged down in a minute.
"You bragged to him that I am strong?" In disbelief, she inquired.
"I thought I understood you, but..." She inhaled deeply and sniffed. "I was mistaken."
Cyrus killing his normal state was a serious issue that he ignored...why on earth did he do that?
"Are you going to stay there and cry?" Cyrus’s deep, cold voice unexpectedly echoed throughout the room.
Sage wasn’t surprised; in fact, she felt relieved that he was in the same room as her. "No. Would you like me to cry?"
"I do not really mind." Cyrus smirked.
Sage gave a nod. "That comes as no surprise." She murmured and reached for the fire, but Cyrus appeared out of nowhere, grabbing her wrist in an unexpectedly frightful way.
Sage exclaimed and looked at him with wide eyes, but she couldn’t see his face because it was hidden behind his long black hair.
"What are you doing?" With a deep growl, Cyrus inquired.
"I am putting my hands in the fire." Sage spoke slowly.
"Are you crazy?" Cyrus’s voice rose, causing her to gasp.
"I am a fire mage." She reminded her sternly.
Cyrus immediately let go of her wrists. "You are, indeed." He muttered and walked away, leaving Sage perplexed.
Was he worried about her?!
She stood up and turned to watch him remove his coat with a dull expression. He sat on the bed, removing his little ropes on his shirt while maintaining eye contact with her.
"Would you like to drill holes in my face?" He inquired directly.
"Do you have any concerns about me?" Sage approached him slowly, asking him a question.
"I am not sure. Why?" he asked and took off his shirt, throwing it at her, which she immediately caught.
"You are not supposed to be here, but you are, which means you are concerned about me." Sage said with a bright smile in her eyes.
"You are mistaken, Queen Sage Dragos; I am just here to sleep." Cyrus said sternly, then twitched his lips.
"Do you mind if I sleep with you?" Sage inquired right away.
"Have you lost your sense of morality?" Cyrus asked, scoffing in disbelief.
"For... sleeping with my husband?" Sage inquired slowly.
"Trust me when I say that if I sleep close to you, I will make you scream my name until the sun goes down." Cyrus said in a menacing tone.
"Saying it as if it were a threat. That won’t bother me." Sage said shamelessly as she approached him and placed his shirt on his head.
"Are you certain?" Sage leaned in close to Cyrus, who asked with a smirk.
"Yes." Her hot breath fanned his face as she whispered.
Cyrus swallowed hard, wrapped his arms around her waist, and before she knew it, her back met the bed with Cyrus hovering over her.
He kissed his lips on hers, kissing her so passionately that she struggled to keep up with him. She exhaled a shaky breath, relieved that she still had an extreme effect on him.
He sucked her lips and kissed her until she let out a moan that broke a large chunk of self-control.
Sage wished she could caress his smooth skin with her hands, but he had her hands pinned to the bed.
Her breasts swelled and she gasped into Cyrus’ mouth.
"Fuck!" Cyrus let out a deep groan and broke the kiss.
Sage’s beautiful face caught his attention, and her red cheeks complemented her red hair.
He had the desire to have her right there, but he had to restrain himself.
"Find me when you are ready to follow me around." He kissed her on the lips again, whispering.
Sage blinked quickly as he let go of her wrists, got off her, carried his shirt, and walked away to the balcony.
"W..what?!" Sage exclaimed, jumped out of bed, and ran to the balcony, which was unexpectedly empty.
She placed her hands on her flushed cheeks, realizing that he wasn’t hiding his feelings for her at that moment. It was surprising.
