Chapter 136: So cliché

"Boss... someone’s here to see you," informed Logan’s right hand man to Logan.

"Who?" Logan asked and Sentencia who seemed to have been following the man from behind, came into view.

The man had let her trail along with him because he knew she was dear to his boss.

Logan who had been sitting, stood up almost immediately at the sight of Sentencia. He just couldn’t believe she was actually standing here, right in front of him.

"Sentencia..." he managed to say.

"Have a seat," he added as he too sat back on the couch and so she joined him on the couch.

"What brings you here?" he continued.

"Well, first of all... I’m sorry for coming here unannounced, especially after how things ended last time. About that, that’s why I came here. I want to apologize, I was a little selfish at that moment.

"Even though I didn’t or I couldn’t reciprocate your feelings, I should have...the least I could have done is respect them and not push you away like that. I’m sorry," she expressed.

"It’s... okay Sentencia," he replied.

"You were a friend to me and you will always be," she continued.

"Ouch," he responded with a sad smile and so she forced a smile too.

"And that’s why I’m here to apologize, I don’t want there to be any tension between us when we cross paths, because of what had happened," she added.

"It’s really okay, Sentencia. No hard feelings," he replied and she pursed her lips.

"Hmm, you are dating him now aren’t you?" she heard him say.

"Pardon?" she responded.

"You and Fi are together now, aren’t you?" he questioned.

"Yes. How could you tell?" she asked.

He huffed, "Just a lucky guess,"

"Lucky but quite unfortunate for me," he added.

"What do you see in him?" he asked.

Sentencia sighed, "We crossed paths when we were still teens years ago. The situation wasn’t the best but Fi’s few words, those short moments I spent with him, was what made me to push through,"

"But also, he is a really good person and that’s why I don’t think he could be responsible for the assassination of a friend’s family. I really do hope both of you could reconcile one day," Sentencia included.

Logan heaved a sigh, "That lucky bastard. Sentencia, what I feel for you is genuine and I sincerely want you to be happy. But neither of us can stop me from feeling this way towards you,"

"So don’t blame me if I continue to wait for that douchebag to screw up, so that I can take his place, because I will be here waiting," he added.

She huffed, "I can’t stop you. But, do you think that will ever happen? And do you think I will become yours by then or do you think you will have the heart to take a friend’s ex?"

"Question one, it might. Question three, Fi and I aren’t really friends anymore and the second, when the time comes, we’ll see," he grinned at her.

"If the time comes. Don’t wait for me Logan, I’m telling you this as a friend because I know the one for you is out there somewhere and I know someday you are going to find her," Sentencia told.

"So cliché. You are the first woman I have ever fallen in love with, so I know it will take a while for me to get over you but most of all, for me to fall in love with someone again. Because I usually don’t do love, you are my first," he confessed.

She just nodded, not having anything else to say. She was just glad there wasn’t any bad blood between them.

After Olivia and Leo returned from the villa or rather, from the short term honeymoon. Helen had invited Olivia over to the mansion.

She really doesn’t have anything against Olivia, if Gabriel didn’t die she would still have lost a child, a grandchild and two individuals who have become more like children to her.

Olivia honored the invitation, Helen had invited her over to apologize for the trouble Gabriel had caused her.

"I’m sorry it took this long to apologize on his behalf. I was still recovering from the shock of losing a child. He wasn’t the best individual but he was still my son and it really hurts to lose a child," Helen said, so emotionally.

"It’s okay. There is really no need to apologize," Olivia responded.

When Olivia excused herself to go to the bathroom, she meant Colleen at the top of the stairs. They just held each other’s gaze till Colleen finally started;

"You must be so happy now, aren’t you?"

"What do you mean?" Olivia asked and Colleen started to walk closer to Olivia. Olivia moved away with each step she took.

"You were the reason my brother died and now, you have got Leo on a leash, I don’t even know how that became possible. I guess, he must have been under your charm this whole time," she replied.

"What are you talking about?" Olivia responded.

"Why is it that you always blame me for every single thing that happens?" Olivia added.

"Because I just don’t like you! Okay?! You might have been forced into doing what you had done but you still did it anyway. You used Gabriel too, although it was to help Leo- Fine!

"But if you weren’t in Leo’s life, Gabriel wouldn’t have had any weakness against Leo and he wouldn’t have died. He would still be here. Ever since you came into our lives, things haven’t been going right and that’s why I just hate you! Who or what are you?!" Colleen elaborated.

"No. You are wrong, if I hadn’t come into your lives, Gabriel might have still died or maybe, Leo instead. Because Gabriel is already a terrible person and he would do anything to become the CEO," Olivia replied and she could feel the words sink into Colleen.

"So please, stop trying to blame me for every single thing that happens," Olivia added.

"Shut up!" Colleen yelled moving even more closer to Olivia.

"I won’t, because all I’m saying is the truth! Find something or someone else to vent your anger on," Olivia responded.

"I said SHUT UP!" Colleen yelled and Olivia didn’t know that she was already at the edge of the stairs, so she slipped.

"OLIVIA!" Colleen tried to hold onto her but she had already started to fall and she was soon rolling down the stairs.

Colleen’s hands went to her mouth in shock when Olivia ended at the bottom of the stairs, unmoving.

She rushed down the stairs and when she got to Olivia, she saw that not only was she unconscious bleeding from her head, blood also walked down her legs as her pregnancy bled.

"No... Olivia... Olivia wake up please," Colleen pleaded. Leo is going to deal with her if anything happens to her or their baby...she is doomed!

She never meant for that to happen just now. What if...

No!

Nothing should happen. Colleen felt Olivia’s pulse, she was still alive. Colleen stood, nobody saw her, right? No one would be able to blame her for her fall.

Colleen rushed back upstairs towards her room, leaving Olivia’s fate to whoever finds her first. She didn’t even think of the possibility of Olivia bleeding to death.

Helen eventually noticed that Olivia has been gone for some while now so she decided to go check on her. As she walked towards the stairs, she immediately found Olivia at the bottom of the stairs, bleeding.

"Olivia?!" she called worriedly. Did she fall?

She bent down to her and held her, her hands bathed in her blood. Then she began to call for help;

"Colleen?! Colleen?!...ANYONE?!"

Colleen was in her room, when she heard her mom’s call from downstairs.

’Someone has finally found her,’ she thought.

She rushed out of her room and down the stairs after washing Olivia’s blood off of her hands and changing her tainted clothes. Some of the house staffs also rushed to the scene.

"What happened Mom? What happened to her?!" Colleen questioned, feigning ignorance, shock and concern.

"I think she fell down the stairs," Helen replied.

Olivia was rushed to the hospital immediately. Leo received the news when he was still in the office. With the way his phone fell from his hand as his eyes widened, Zane could tell it was a dire emergency.

He rushed towards the hospital almost immediately. When he got there, he barged into the hospital and he saw his mother and Colleen immediately. There was blood on his mom’s hands as she cried, trembling.

"I’m sorry Leo, I’m so sorry...I’m sorry," she choked on her tears.

Leo felt as if his very life was being sucked out of him.

"No..." he mumbled.

"Where is she? Tell me nothing happened. Where is Olivia?" he pleaded.

"In the emergency room, we haven’t heard anything from the doctors or nurses," Helen responded.

"How did this happen? What happened to her?! What happened to my wife?!" Leo demanded. Colleen couldn’t believe the desperation in Leo’s eyes and tone. Did he really like Olivia that much?

"I’m so sorry Leo. She left me to go to the bathroom and I think she fell down the stairs. I’m sorry Leo, I should have watched over her properly," Helen replied.

"Don’t blame yourself, mom," Colleen comforted her mother.

The doctor in charge of Olivia walked in almost immediately.

"The Yuls?" he started, to draw their attention and so they went to him.

"How is my wife doctor? My wife and my child?" Leo questioned and the doctor looked so hesitant.
