Marvel: What If Thanos Adopted A Saiyan?-Chapter 214 - 215: Lothar Through the Eyes of Baby Ronan
The power of the Infinity Stones had long since surpassed even the Supreme Intelligence’s comprehension.
Hela, moving through the battlefield with ruthless precision, had turned Kree defenses into a joke, and the golden-haired Lothar? He was a catastrophe incarnate. The Supreme Intelligence, the godlike AI of the Kree, found itself helpless against these two overwhelming forces.
Despite possessing a databank brimming with galactic secrets, the Supreme Intelligence could not, even after scouring its core archives, formulate a strategy fast enough to neutralize either Lothar or Hela.
One wielded the terrifying might of an Infinity Stone.
The other didn’t even need one.
According to the archives, even the mighty Eternals of Titan paled before the power of the Stones, yet Lothar, an adopted son of a fallen Titan, had achieved the unthinkable.
The irony was laughable.
Together, Lothar, with his radiant golden aura, and Hela, empowered by the Mind Stone, had thrown the Kree Empire into chaos.
For the first time since its creation, the Supreme Intelligence suffered a data fluctuation. Rage, an emotion it rarely acknowledged, disrupted its flawless neural flow.
This wasn’t just a defeat.
It was humiliation on a cosmic scale.
The vaunted First Empire of the stars, the very entity that crushed the Skrulls and humbled Xandar, now found itself overwhelmed by two mere youths barely into their twenties? 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
The Supreme Intelligence, revered for millennia as the pinnacle of Kree advancement, refused to accept this.
It was the guiding light of Kree evolution, the very embodiment of their collected wisdom. It had pride. It had self-awareness. Even Odin and Thanos tread carefully around the Kree Empire.
So why... why did their children think they could do as they pleased?
From the skies of Hala, the crown jewel of the Kree Empire, heavy artillery swiveled into position, guided by the wrath of the Supreme Intelligence. Every barrel locked on to the two approaching figures slicing through the void with unmatched speed.
One command echoed through the fleet:
"Eliminate all who dare challenge the Kree Empire, no mercy!"
Whatever diplomatic overtures had been considered, like contacting Woz, were now drowned beneath an ocean of killing intent. Beams of multicolored energy erupted into the void, converging on Lothar and Hela like a celestial storm.
Black Quadrant?
Asgard?
The Supreme Intelligence didn’t care anymore.
It had already been insulted to its very core. Why worry now about who backed them?
Let them come.
Let Thanos and Odin themselves show up.
The Kree Empire feared no one, not even the combined wrath of gods and madmen.
Its technology was second to none. If it came to war... so be it.
"Son of Thanos!"
"Daughter of Odin!"
"This is your final warning!"
"Cease your assault, surrender now, and I promise safe passage home. Otherwise..."
"Die."
The golden aura blazing around Lothar flared brighter, but he paused, head turning slightly at the voice that crackled through the commlink.
"Did you hear that too?"
Hela floated to his side, breath ragged, her chest rising and falling violently as her body pushed beyond its limits. She caught herself stealing a glance at Lothar, but he wasn’t looking at her. His gaze was fixed on the distant Kree fleet.
"...Father’s voice."
"No," Lothar shook his head sharply, wiping sweat from his brow. "That’s not my father."
Maintaining his Super Saiyan form was already draining, layered atop that was the constant effort to project a protective shield to survive the vacuum of space.
Woz.
The name sprang to mind instinctively.
If someone had hijacked the communications, Woz should’ve detected it. He would’ve sent a warning.
"Woz?" Lothar called.
Silence.
A beat passed. Then another.
Still nothing.
Impossible.
"Son of Thanos," the voice returned, calm yet implacable. "Your AI has been neutralized and placed into stasis."
A beam of light projected from within Hala’s capital, and from within the beam emerged the unmistakable silhouette of Thanos, walking forward, slowly and deliberately, until his image filled Lothar’s vision.
"Father?!"
"Father?!" they both gasped, but each saw something different.
To Lothar, it was Thanos.
To Hela, it was Odin.
"No," the figure said, hands clasped behind its back, Hala’s futuristic skyline gleaming in the background. "I am the Supreme Intelligence, the apex synthesis of Kree intellect."
"I take no fixed form. Each being sees in me the one they revere or fear most. You are no different."
The Supreme Intelligence had done the unthinkable, abandoning its usual aloofness to project itself in person before the invaders. Something that had never occurred in all of Kree history.
But the Mind Stone embedded in Hela’s brow was no ordinary threat.
It was one of the universe’s six primal forces, its potential incalculable.
"So you’re that shameless piece of code that calls itself a god?"
Lothar sneered, glancing at the dormant vessel nearby where Woz had gone silent. His aura blazed hotter, gold fire dancing along his skin.
Hela bent slightly, claws extended, her crimson nails gleaming with a savage hunger. The stars behind her shimmered with tension.
"Now..." the Supreme Intelligence said calmly, "...what is your decision?"
"Life?"
"Or death?"
Lothar didn’t bother responding with words.
The Supreme Intelligence didn’t mind. This was never about negotiation, it was a stalling tactic, buying time for its internal systems to generate a viable counterstrike.
But...
Zzzzzzt!
BOOM!
Silver and crimson energy lanced through the illusion of Thanos and Odin, crashing straight into the heart of the Kree fleet!
"My choice?" Lothar grinned.
"The hunt begins."
He licked his lips. Bloodlust crackled in the air as golden flame transformed into the spectral shapes of a tiger and a dragon, beasts he had once slain in the dark corners of the galaxy.
Now, they fought alongside him.
"Tch. You hunt poorly," Hela smirked, her body swallowed by a rising tide of blood-red mist.
A howling storm tore through the battlefield, ships shattered, defenses crumbled. Wherever Hela passed, ruin followed.
No matter how many ships the Supreme Intelligence directed with surgical precision, it wasn’t enough.
Together, the pair carved a path through Kree defenses.
"Hala, kneel! Now!"
Golden lightning thundered across the heavens as Lothar descended in a pillar of divine fury.
"Kree, submit! Now!"
Hela’s voice, regal and merciless, rang across the world, echoing through the blood-soaked winds beneath the moonlight.
In the cities below, the curious and fearful Kree citizens raised their eyes to the sky, drawn by sirens and strange vibrations. There, under the pale moonlight, they saw them, two beings standing tall and proud against the overwhelming might of Kree science.
BOOM!
An earth-shaking shockwave detonated across the capital.
Towers crumbled like sandcastles.
Screams filled the air.
Countless Kree died in an instant, caught in the cataclysm.
"This," Lothar said, his smile cold and brutal, "is what happens when you target me, Kree."
His teeth gleamed under the moonlight, sharp, white, and terrifying.
...
"Yaaah! Yaa-yaah!"
A baby’s voice pierced the carnage.
Cradled in his mother’s trembling arms, infant Ronan stared wide-eyed into the sky, his pudgy little hands reaching toward the glowing figures of Lothar and Hela.
"Shhh, Ronan," she whispered, holding him tighter. "Close your eyes. Don’t look."
"Mama’s going to take you to the shelter now... to safety..."
