Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 293: Of All The Bonds???
[RANIA]
"Fine, I will go, but on the condition that you tell us why the fuck you were running away from Incayon just hours before your birthday party," Dalrae said and Rania nodded a little too fast it was suspicious.
Then again, it was better than having the two alpha males at each other’s throats, ready to tear down the home they had worked so hard to rebuild.
"Go," Rania ushered her sister who didn’t hesitate to leave. They were in this together and they would make it all better right? Perhaps Rania would open up to her friends later, but they had to make sure that the destruction wasn’t imminent again.
Defeatedly, Dalrae made her way to her mate, as Kaisei headed in her direction too, almost like they were meant to meet halfway. It was like a grand show, and time was surely moving too slowly.
Chang Wook was on edge, ready to fight Kaisei over Dalrae, and it was a really tense moment, though one that ended with everyone’s jaws on the ground again.
Jahiro walking in Dalrae’s direction wasn’t what surprised everyone.
"No way," ws all that could be heard as the beast walked on ahead, and his human took over once again, in the process, returning to being Kaisei again.
Kaisei Seto walked past Dalrae.
Kaisei Seto hurried to Kim Rania.
Kaisei Seto called Rania his mate.
"We’re officially in hell," was the only thing that Paloma could manage.
"What?" Rania asked when she heard Kaisei call her his mate. All her worries suddenly went out the window and the only thing that was eating her up was the possible chance that Kaisei Seto was really her mate.
Jihoon had said that he wasn’t her mate and Rania was already making a run to disappear and not have to face whatever reality waited for her in the morning.
Funny how that had turned out for her, and here she was, with her jaw wide open as reality finally started settling in.
This was something that she had never expected, not even in a hundred lifetimes; if she ever lived that long anyway. She was still seated where she had been and was trying to process what the fuck was going on at the moment.
Surely, the goddess hadn’t gone bonkers that fast, no?
"Mate. You, little wolf, are my mate,’’ Kaisei said and Rania looked at him like there was something amiss. Well, she couldn’t tell really, but she could feel her wolf calling on Kaisei. It was something that her wolf had never done even for Jihoon.
It was like her wolf was finally comfortable enough to make an appearance, even though they were one and the same. She hadn’t heard her wolf be happy about anything she did from the day they both realized that their mate had been taken from them.
But here and now, Rania could feel her wolf jumping excitedly at the thought of Kaisei Seto being their mate. Maybe the universe wasn’t being cruel to them, but what were the chances that this was true anyway?
"But you don’t have a mate. What of Yanna, Kai?" Rania asked as she stared at the man before her. In their first-ever conversation, Kaisei had mentioned that she was looking for a particular Yanna Petrova.
He had been so adamant, and while he had never mentioned that Yanna was his mate, Rania had made that conclusion herself. She hadn’t met a man who wouldn’t shut up about a woman they didn’t like. It was how logic worked in any lifetime anyway.
"I was looking for Yanna... to know more about her and what she had done to you. She was never my mate, never has been. It has always been you from the moment everything came down.
"I chose you, and the goddess seems to have finally approved the bond after years and years of me begging at her damn feet," Kaisei said proudly and gently as he looked at the woman he had fallen in love with.
For a man with two beasts, this was shocking to everyone.
No one had ever imagined that Kaisei Seto would ever fall in love with anyone.
It was never even a thought, because the man was more of a beast than a man.
It was like he was controlled by his primal instincts all the time and yet each time he had been around Kim Rania, he seemed to be thinking straight.
He seemed to be changing and perhaps, it was for the better. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Granted, that didn’t mean that he wasn’t a beast anymore, but it just meant that he was someone different around Rania. He was someone approachable and likable, someone who would smile and laugh but only because of Kim Rania.
The times that Rania had been threatened, Kaisei Seto had caused so much damage, that the goddess herself had to ask Kaisei what he wanted. And his answer had always been the same. To see the woman he loved happy.
But would he admit to that right now, here with all the people around them?
The warriors starred with their eyes wide open and even the hybrids weren’t sure what to make of this. They loved that the master had not changed, but they wondered what a union this was.
Kaisei was the devil and Rania was the psycho one who seemed to have unlocked her powers and even murdered her mother without a second thought. The pair was animalistic and dangerous, more than anything anyone had seen.
And now as it was, they were coupled up.
Who would trigger whose humanity?
Who would remind them that they needed to tone it down?
Or would their friends have to risk their lives for that too?
But then would they ever really harm their friends?
It was a lot to take in and they could all feel it.
"Kai—" Rania began, but Kaisei just shushed her, before carefully lifting her up from the ground, but not missing the chance to burn Luna Kim’s body.
It was a no-brainer for him; after all, the woman had caused his mate more damage than the old books would ever be able to acknowledge.
For a mother, Luna Kim had fucked up more than once, and right now, there wasn’t a thing that she could ever be able to do anyway. Maybe her death would serve a purpose, but which one would that be?
Kaia was experiencing mixed emotions. He was happy and angry and excited and feeling psychotic at the same time. Even he didn’t know where he stood as he watched Rania. This was just so overwhelming.
"You two are mates?" Dalrae voiced, wondering what could ensue at the moment. However, she couldn’t deny the fact that she was happy for both of them. She couldn’t deny that this man was probably the best thing that could ever happen to Kim Rania.
"Congratulations Rani... and Kaisei, if you hurt my sister, goddess help your soul, I will fight you with all that I have and don’t have. I don’t care if I have to lay my life for her, but I will, if you break my sister’s heart," Dalrae warned, as she glared at Kaisei.
