Mated to A Rival Alpha-Chapter 296: Not Sad Anymore
[RANIA]
Incayon was beautiful.
That was the simplest way to describe whatever the pack had been turned into.
A mix of gold, silver, and black, the pack looked like something out of a girl’s best fantasy.
It looked so different, way too different from what Incayon had been accustomed to, and compared to the setting at the festival, it was easier to conclude that the festival had been nothing close to what was being seen here today.
The table setting was perfect as beautiful dark tablecloths with silver centerpieces, gold candlesticks, and flatware. It all seemed so unreal even as the wolves took in the preparation that had been brought to life by the three warlocks in their midst.
This was what perfection looked like, and nothing would ever change the fact that they all wanted to make it all a beautiful sight, not just because of Rania, but because this was easily their happiest night and they wanted to make the most of it.
A night in which war was forbidden.
The decor was perfect, as the gold and silver matched each other, not to mention the good and black that was all over. It was perfection even as the balloons complemented each other. The lighting was perfect, for an evening that the whole of Incayon had waited for.
The chaos of the previous night had long been forgotten as they embraced the beauty that was before them; a new Incayon, even if it was just for the night.
The lamps sat prettily in the designated areas, as the once big pack, shone and it up like a prom evening, only that this was better than prom, or even an engagement party.
If anyone didn’t know anything, it could have easily been assumed to be an engagement party, one that had been spiced up with magic and a touch of love.
The music was slow and set the mood for an evening that many had long thought would never come to light.
Everyone looked happy, everyone was happy and more than anything, the atmosphere seemed just right, even as the moon started making its appearance as if to remind her children that this was the ultimate beauty that she had long been waiting for too.
The men were dressed in black and silver, while the women were dressed in black and gold.
They looked so gorgeous and handsome that it was impossible to tell that behind all those smiles, behind the happy waves of laughter that graced the night, were the monsters of a lifetime, monsters whose only objective at the movement was to make sure Kim Rania was going to have the time of her life.
Everything was perfect and the food was there in plenty.
No one had been left out, not even the elders of Incayon.
Hell, even the prisoners had been released out of their dungeons, though Kaia had cast a spell on them so that they would be unable to try shit with him. They couldn’t run away and they definitely wouldn’t be hammering Rania or ruining her night. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
The rogues of Altunia had joined in to as they were part of Rania’s envoy and the hybrids had bleed in pretty well. It was all just good vibes as they tried to make the best of the evening.
Tonight was happy and they would make sure it stayed that way through and through.
The king and queen, along with the prince and Yanna were seated beside the prisoners, something that seemed so unorthodox, but Kaia Seto didn’t give two shits about anything.
They were all just guests on Rania’s birthday and if anyone tried to ruin his beloved’s birthday Kaia would burn them all. That much was a given and he wasn’t going to play any games with the happiness of a woman he had long prayed for.
Rania was his answered prayer and he couldn’t be tired of saying that or even thanking the moon goddess.
Jihoon and Daehyun were also seated beside the royals and the prisoners they were in the same seating position and they looked nothing like the mess they had been in the previous months or even last night.
Everyone had cleaned up and as for the clothing, Kaia had used his magic his brother’s magic, and Chang Wook’s magic to make everyone look like the best version of themselves.
Tonight, no one was ugly and now one was cast out. Tonight, everyone looked normal and unhurt. No one was in pain, just with the urge to make the most of the night.
They were happy, and while it clearly wasn’t meant for the prisoners, the warning was clear in the air, and that was one that Han Seong had been the one to deliver.
Anyone who tried to dampen his brother’s beloved’s mood would be used as an example and if there was something the wolves of Incayon had gotten to understand in the past months that the misfits had been in Incayon, was to never mess with Kim Rania or even her happiness.
She was the girl that the misfits loved and they would give her the world if that was what she wanted.
Away from everyone looking pretty and hot, were the misfits who looked like they were going to some royal hunt.
They looked nothing like the crazies they had been known for. They looked like the world could burn and they would be at the frontline saving it. They looked innocent, harmless, and even pleasant.
They looked approachable.
Chang Wook looked like he was going to the wedding of the year with his long hair in a neat bun and his beard well combed. He looked like a normal man in Incayon, one with the best genes that Incayon could ever produce.
He looked like what perfection would have been and if he wasn’t a Viking psycho, he could have passed for the best man of the year. But even that didn’t stop him from looking so damn good in his black tux.
He was in all black, with a silver pocket handkerchief.
He looked so damn good and dreamy.
Han and how brother looked the same, literally.
They were the same height, had the same features, and with their same clothing, it was difficult to tell who was the psycho of psychos and who was the good twin who sought to make sure that the world was always going to be peaceful.
It was going to be a long gamble for the people who didn’t know them. Their hair was also in buns, neat as hell and for the first time in so long, Kaia felt like he was the same as his brother.
His beasts had taken a rest and were determined to not show up unless there was a threat to their friends. It was a beautiful sight.
Paloma was dressed in a long gold gown with a touch of silver stars that were all over. She looked like she was going to her first ever prom and the black crown on her head complemented everything she stood for.
She was in long heels and looked like every man’s perfect dream. She was so beautiful it was worth watching. Her beauty had finally shown itself as she was no longer in armor and war attire, but she looked like a regular beautiful woman too.
The smile on her round face complemented her well as her waist-long hair was in beautiful curls. If there was a day that magic had made goddesses out of regular wolves, then today had to be the day.
Paloma’s red eyes were beautiful too, as they brought out her very features. She was a queen, even if she was a rogue queen.
Paloma Mishra was the queen of hearts today.
In the middle of all that, was the wish that the misfits had. They wished that Odelia would make it back home.
They knew that she was aware of everything that was happening and while she may have taken some time off, she was always going to show up in case she was needed. If there was anyone who could have passed as Rania’s mother, then it had to be Odelia.
It was just a pity that she wasn’t here, right?
But perhaps she would make a show after all, the evening had just begun and they would go through to the night. It would be a long one, but one they would enjoy. Besides, it was the queen of Incayon’s birthday, right?
"Why are they taking so long?" Chang Wook asked as he looked at the pack house entrance that was covered in balloons and beautiful lighting. It was the grand setup and it felt like there was a real queen who could come through there.
This was something that even Queen Eunbi had never experienced; perhaps she had hoped that someday, when her family was out of this mess, they would be happy and she would get something close to that right?
Well, all she could do was just wish and hope, no?
"They are girls. Relax, they will be here. Besides, it’s their night, we have to be parent with them," Paloma said and Chang Wook just groaned. He was excited to see his sister.
It had been so many years since he had seen her happy and she was worried that she wouldn’t be tonight. Well, he was just being anxious, besides, no one could be happier than Rania tonight, right?
"Finally!" Han let out a sigh of relief, as the pack house door opened to reveal the women of the night.
Oh, but they looked so damn beautiful.
And so the murmurs began.
