silently, I still felt like I was being very unfair to him. He had been such a good friend to me, and I have not done one right thing to appreciate him.

"Tim, I think we should stop this. You’re a good friend, but I don’t see you as anything more than that. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me, but I know Jaxon will come back soon." He stood up and walked out even before I could complete my words.

It was soon nighttime, and Tim did not return. I began to feel so bad had I said something wrong to him. I just felt so frustrated with everything happening to me that I had to go bald very soon.

All those things had to make me think this way. I sat up and turned on my phone again. Even though Tim was still on my mind, my body still moved to call Jaxon instead. The phone rang continuously this time, but Jaxon did not pay.

That meant he had turned on his phone, which meant I had more hopes of him seeing my missed calls.

I smiled with a little pang of hope in my heart as I dropped the phone down. Just then, the doctor walked in, and I smiled, ready to ask him if he would let me be discharged very soon.

After all, it was just my scalp that got bruised on nothing else. It wasn’t like I was dying of any sort, and besides, I knew my way back home. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Just as he entered, another figure walked in, making me angry. How could Maya have the guts to come here? I could not believe it, and she came with her accomplices.

They smiled and then waved at me. I could not understand why the doctor could let them walk into my room. Well, it wasn’t their fault nobody knew that they were the ones who did this to me aside from Tim.

"You guys can come inside why are you looking so scared?" The doctor said to Maya as they walked in while pretending to have a scared facial expression. I talked to the doctor, and I tried to use my eyes to let him know that I was scared and wanted him to dismiss them, but he did not understand and instead began to cross-check everything about him from head to toe.

He smiled at my recovery and then wrote things down before walking out. I wish I could stand up and chase after him, stopping him from leaving and letting him know he could not leave me alone with Maya in this room. Still, it was already too late as he had already stepped out.

I turned my attention back to Maya and her companions as they walked towards me the three of them folded their hands and stared at me.

"Why are you here?" I said to them while trying to be very brave. They began to chuckle, and then Maya walked towards me.

Maya walked toward me bent to my height, and muttered,

"you are just one miserable girl. Honestly, I don’t know why you have to be given this special treatment by everyone, but it doesn’t matter because Jaxon never came to check on you when I was on my way here. I was so scared that I would bump into Jaxon waiting for you and taking care of you, treating you like a Queen, But I guess Jaxon is not here, which means that you are all alone, and I can do whatever I want to do with you. Wow, look at your new appearance, the bald lady." Maya said to me as I tried to hold back my anger.

I was not going to show that vulnerable side of me she was planning to see. She turned to her friends, and they all chuckled together.

"You are such a bad girl, Maya, but I would not fight you for that. Instead, I will watch you be that bad when you want to be. I hope you have fun doing it." I said to her while trying to be still so good, but still, it does not move. Maya, after all, was the kind of person who found joy in hurting people.

Maya walked towards me and her friend wasted no time in picking on me, she dragged my hair so tightly that I almost felt my brain explode, even though I tried to hold in the pain...it was just to much, I have never met people like this all my life.

They were just too wicked and heartless, how could they feel no pity for what they had just done, they burnt my hair but yet they still felt no pity and still continued to hurt me even more.

"Do you really think you are going to go Scott free for all of this?" I said to them and the lady suddenly lets go of me, I was relieved at first not until I heard Maya took over and dragged my hair even more.

"You have no one, you should have thought about that before you stepped on the lion tails, you would not have a simple life no matter what you do..yoh would continue to think you can escape but you don’t have such chances. Do you understand?" she muttered to me but I didn’t reply her and just kept quiet, she would continue to talk until she lets me

Go and I finally become free from everything.

"Do not think I would get tired of your trouble so just let me go instead, do you understand." I said to her and out of anger she raised her hand to slap me but was stopped halfway.

"What do you think you are doing?" I turned and couldn’t believe it was Jaxon, Maya immediately lets go of me and covers up with her innocent looks but Jaxon had caught them and they had no escape route. I smiled in joy that they were finally letting me go,he came for me just as I expected.
