Max Level is 100? I Can Upgrade All skill s to Lv99999!-Chapter 103 --Demihumans Are Powerful!
For the laborers of the entire Bloom Elf race, the moment that followed would become a historic turning point they would never forget. They were about to witness a true page of history being written—and become a part of the vast, surging current of the age itself.
Yet just as everyone stood with taut nerves, watching constantly for orders and commands from above, a violent explosion suddenly erupted in the distant sky.
The massive blast shook not only the earth, but even the clouds overhead, which were dyed blood-red by the fire that shot into the heavens.
"BOOOOM—!!"
The explosion was deafening. Judging from how long the sound took to reach them, the blast had clearly happened very far away. Even so, the sudden, overwhelming roar was still enough to fill the Bloom Elf laborers present—and even the tens of thousands of awakeners—with shock and fear.
"What the hell is happening? Did the humans discover our operation? Did they decide to strike first?!"
That was simply the nature of the Bloom Elf race. When protected by stronger beings, they often appeared extremely aggressive, even fearless and unreasonable, as if they did not fear death. But once that support was gone, they became weak—like lambs waiting to be slaughtered. It was as if they had lost the support of a spine and fallen into complete helplessness.
"What do we do? Why haven’t the elven powerhouses launched a counterattack immediately?" someone asked anxiously, clearly already panicking.
"Are you sure the elven powerhouses are really reliable? From what we’re seeing, they don’t seem as strong as they claimed," another warrior said in a trembling voice.
"If the humans attack with their full force... are we just going to surrender?" another laborer blurted out in fear.
As the discussion around them grew increasingly noisy and chaotic, a Bloom Elf military officer stepped forward and said sternly:
"Everyone, calm down! We have elven powerhouses stationed here—what are you afraid of?!"
"And our defensive magic formation has already been fully deployed, built under the personal guidance of elven experts. Tell me—who in this world is stronger than the elves?"
The officer’s words immediately soothed part of the panic. Though everyone still felt uneasy, their emotions stabilized somewhat under the reassurance of the elven powerhouses. After all, the strength of the elves was nearly beyond question—they were the most powerful race in the world.
At least on the surface, the elves were unquestionably ranked first in strength. Next came the Titans. Though they had suffered devastating losses in the Bloody Dawn incident at the Sacred Castle, they were still widely recognized as the second strongest race.
As for humanity, because they had remained peaceful for many years and rarely took the initiative to start conflicts, they were usually considered the third strongest race. Even so, the upper ranks of the Bloom Elf race knew that human strength was far more formidable than their low-key appearance suggested. In particular, humanity’s growth in recent years had been too rapid to ignore. A new generation of powerhouses had risen one after another like bamboo shoots after rain, making it impossible to predict humanity’s true ceiling.
Still, the common view remained that humanity’s overall power was slightly inferior to that of the elves—but in comprehensive strength, they had already surpassed the Titans.
"Sir Officer, are the elven lords truly willing to fight alongside us? If they are, then even if we die in battle, we will have no complaints!"
"That’s right! As long as the elves support us, I believe we’ll win in the end!"
"Even if humanity mobilizes everything, the elven powerhouses won’t just stand by! Teleportation arrays are so convenient now, and the humans can’t possibly launch a lightning war!"
At that moment, all the Bloom Elf laborers steeled themselves. They believed in the elves’ strength, and behind that strength, they saw hope.
And yet, the explosions in the distant sky and the intensity of the attack did not lessen in the slightest. The ground continued to tremble. The clouds above thickened, dark energy spreading through the air. The storm grew fiercer by the second, and the rolling waves at sea gradually rose into towering walls hundreds of meters high. Faced with such a terrifying tempest, the Bloom Elves became even more uneasy.
Meanwhile, Caelan hovered in midair, staring into the distance at the monster corpses that were continuously being dumped into the [Infinite Sea]. As a calm and decisive commander, his gaze turned increasingly cold.
"Since you enjoy polluting the Infinite Sea so much... then I’ll return every drop of this seawater to you."
Caelan began carrying out Task One. Before that, however, he had not forgotten to contact Alyssa and confirm the progress of today’s meeting.
After speaking with Alyssa, Caelan finally confirmed the specific execution plan for Task One.
As Caelan activated [Eye of Insight], he could clearly see Heartbloom Isle and its satellite islands in the distance, along with the locations where the monster corpses were being stored. Everything was under his control. Under normal circumstances, using [Cataclysmic Sword Rain] would have been the most effective way to deal with the Bloom Elves, but the current situation did not allow him to use that power so casually.
With hurricanes blotting out the sky and monstrous waves crashing everywhere, Caelan chose a more direct and overwhelming course of action. Dark clouds filled the heavens, lightning tore across the sky with terrifying force, and the sea churned violently, as if boundless fury was hidden beneath its surface.
Just then, the Bloom Elf race finally received the order they had been waiting for.
"All personnel—immediately dump the monster corpses into the [Infinite Sea] at maximum speed, by any means necessary!" 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
The instant the order was given, thousands of loaders began operating rapidly and in an orderly fashion. Mountains of monster corpses were dumped into the depths of the [Infinite Sea] at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Faced with the enormous responsibility of polluting the [Infinite Sea], the Bloom Elves felt not the slightest guilt. In their eyes, if it meant completing their mission, then what did it matter even if the world itself was destroyed?
"Report! All monster corpses will be dumped within five minutes!"
"This round, the humans are bound to suffer catastrophic losses—maybe even collapse completely! We can take the opportunity to seize their territory!"
In their hearts, they longed for the victory that would come five minutes later. At that time, the Bloom Elf race would occupy rich and beautiful lands, and humanity’s territory would ultimately become their domain. Then they would achieve complete revenge—turning those who had once looked down on them and called them "demihumans" into slaves, into lowly creatures beneath them.
Whenever they imagined that future, smiles of anticipation spread across the faces of the Bloom Elf warriors. The word "demihumans", which had once cut deeply into them, had long since been carved into their hearts as an unhealed scar.
Though the Bloom Elf race shared a certain degree of blood relation with the elves and the wood elves, reality was steeped in cold irony. The elves considered themselves noble, and even the wood elves did not regard the Bloom Elves as beings of the same standing. In front of outsiders, the Bloom Elves often called themselves "elves," trying to cover up what they saw as their lowly status. But in private, both the elves and the wood elves made no effort to hide it—they called them "demihumans" without hesitation.
And yet today, they had finally been given a chance to grind those races who had mocked and despised them beneath their feet. The arrogance that had once towered over them would soon become dust under their boots.
"Demihumans?" one Bloom Elf warrior sneered. "Even if we are ’demihumans,’ we Bloom Elves will never let anyone trample on us again!"
