Miracle Card Shop: All My Cards Can Be Actualize-Chapter 721: The Familiar Abomination
Daniel looks around, trying to remember where he is. The familiar scene makes him realize he's in the same place where he disappeared into the dimensional turbulence. As this realization sinks in, he turns and sees a familiar estate—his home on Elpis.
Everything looks the same. If there have been any changes, he doesn't notice them.
Cluck, cluck, cluck, cluck…
The sound of a chicken clucking draws his attention. The chicken struts around, pecking at the dirt as if searching for food—or perhaps out of habit. It notices Daniel and locks eyes with him.
Cluck! ...Squawk!
The chicken is alarmed and quickly runs away, flapping its wings as if fleeing for its life.
"Arrrrrrrrggghhhhh! Don't kill me!!!!!" the chicken shouts in a familiar voice. Daniel frowns, trying to place where he's heard that voice before.
Suddenly, a chromatic Philosopher's stone is thrown, hitting the chicken on the head. Instead of crying out, the chicken flinches for a moment before swallowing the stone whole.
"God damn it, Lucifer! I'm sleeping here!" a voice grumbles. It comes from a yellow iguana perched on the windowsill. The iguana notices Daniel and blinks in surprise.
"Huh? Lord Emberweave?" the yellow iguana, Mammon, blurts out. Then, raising its voice, it shouts into the residence, "Lady Penthesilea! Greed! Your husband has returned!" There's a hint of happiness in Mammon's voice.
The sound of hurried footsteps echoes from the residence. A moment later, three people emerge: Penthesilea, holding a boy around ten years old in her arms, and Greed. Both women freeze the moment they see Daniel, their expressions shifting from disbelief and shock to pure happiness. The boy, however, looks confused.
"Danny!/My lord!" Greed and Penthesilea call out simultaneously. Greed rushes to Daniel, hugging him tightly as if afraid he might disappear again. Penthesilea, though more reserved, smiles through the tears welling up in her eyes, her expression speaking volumes of her longing and joy.
Daniel hugs Greed in return, gently patting her back to calm her. A warm feeling swells in his chest as he looks toward the boy in Penthesilea's arms. He reaches out, gently stroking Penthesilea's hair before turning his attention to the boy.
The boy startles, looking at his mother for reassurance. Penthesilea nods, and Daniel pats the boy's head with a smile, a strange sense of affection rising within him.
"What's his name?" Daniel asks.
"Andreas, my lord. His name is Andreas," Penthesilea replies with a smile, gazing at her and Daniel's son.
"Lord? What did I tell you to call me?" Daniel lightly admonishes her.
"Err…" Penthesilea's face flushes, and she slowly murmurs, "Da… Danny."
Daniel nods, then releases Greed from his embrace. Greed steps back, understanding that her husband wants to hug the boy.
"Andreas…" Daniel calls out to the boy, crouching down to his height.
Penthesilea sets the boy down and encourages him to walk forward. "He's your father… call him," she says softly, nodding in encouragement.
The boy hesitates, reluctant at first, but seeing the man who claims to be his father crouching in a non-threatening posture and his mother's approval, he slowly walks forward.
"F… Father," the boy says softly. The moment the word leaves his lips, Daniel feels his chest tighten with affection and warmth. Silently, he vows to protect the boy, the feeling coming as naturally as instinct.

"Andreas…" Daniel murmurs the boy's name.
After a few moments of conversation, Daniel regains his composure and introduces Mordred to his wives. But before he can continue, a bright flash of light erupts from behind the moon, drawing his attention. At the same time, alarms blare throughout Elpis.
[Dear citizens of Elpis, please evacuate to the nearest bunker from your current location. Elpis will enter combat mode. Repeat: Citizens of Elpis, please evacuate to the nearest bunker. Elpis will enter combat mode. This is not a drill… Please proceed as instructed. This message will repeat…] A feminine automated voice echoes from speakers across the city.
Thousands of security drones emerge from their compartments, guiding citizens to nearby bunkers with the precision of a well-oiled machine. Even those too old or unable to move on their own are assisted by the drones.
Daniel turns his gaze toward the source of the flash—behind the moon. There, he sees the silhouette of a colossal creature, an abomination one-fifth the size of the moon, emerging from the lunar shadow. Its grotesque features are a nightmarish blend of squid, humanoid, and various grotesque creatures. Its face is covered in lizard-like and octopus-like eyes, sending a shiver down Daniel's spine. Around its body, the fabric of reality distorts, as if the fabric of reality threatens to rupture.
Daniel doesn't know what the abomination is, but he senses a dangerous threat emanating from it. This is the first time since gaining the power to actualize cards from the shop that he feels genuinely threatened. He frowns, staring at the abomination, feeling a strange sense of familiarity, as if he's seen it somewhere before.
"Where is Envy?" he suddenly asks his wives.
"Envy? She's commanding the fight against the extraterrestrial fleet, but it seems the fleet was just destroyed by that thing," Greed replies, pointing at the unknown abomination that emerged from the moon.
Hearing this, Daniel nods and instructs Mordred and his wives to take care of themselves. His residence has an underground bunker designed to withstand significant punishment, even against a Godslayer Cannon. These bunkers were built as a precaution in case of an intrusion into Elpis or if the shield protecting Earth's simulated environment within Elpis were to fail during a battle.
After reassuring his wives and directing them to safety, Daniel rushes toward the command center.
At the command center, Envy is busy directing officers to prepare Elpis's combat features. Suddenly, she notices the door to her seat opening and sees Daniel rushing toward her.
Daniel quickly embraces her. Envy is stunned, and as he holds her, many of her faded and sealed memories begin to return, the curse gradually lifting.
"Danny… You've kept your promise… for more than a thousand years… we've met again," Envy says, her voice trembling. She hugs him tightly, but the urgency of the situation doesn't allow her to linger in the warmth of the moment.
"Danny, can you fight that thing?" she asks.
"I think I can," Daniel replies. Although he hasn't prepared any contingencies to counter the abomination, he has access to the 'Cosmic War' set—the most powerful set of cards he possesses. He believes it might give him a chance.
"Prepare me a space suit," Daniel requests.
Envy doesn't question him further. She quickly orders her team to prepare the best space suit available—one that doesn't sacrifice dexterity or reflexes while offering maximum protection.
Once Daniel is suited up, he is transported to the hangar bay and exits through the door leading to open space. The space suit, resembling advanced power armor, allows him to move freely in the vacuum.
As he floats in the vast blackness of space, Daniel gazes at the dark side of the moon. The abomination stares back at him, its grotesque form radiating menace. The sense of familiarity still lingers, but Daniel can't quite place where he's seen it before. Regardless, he knows this abomination must be stopped.
Daniel closes his eyes, sinking his mind into his mindscape, and begins to actualize the 'Cosmic Dragon.'

The massive dragon materializes from motes of light, a scene captured live by cameras and displayed on the screens within Elpis's command center. Everyone in the command center is awestruck, witnessing their leader's power on full display for the first time.
"Is this… the power of the one who can control the Akashic Record?" Envy utters in awe. All her memories have returned to her, the curse breaking the moment she saw Daniel again after his disappearance. Now she remembers that Daniel is, after all, Merlin. There's some confusion in her mind, but she pushes it aside, knowing in her heart that he is the one.
The dragon finally fully materializes, and with a command from Daniel's will, it immediately unleashes a powerful blast toward the abomination the moment it takes form.
