"Well, it seems you should be somewhat prepared. However, I believe you'll need to personally experience operating a large mecha to feel assured."

"Oh, by the way, I forgot to mention, my current rank is Dragon Sequence 6, and I've been in this rank for about half a year, which is why I'm allowed to try out large mecha. How about you?"

"I'm currently in Withering Sequence 6, and it should be almost 4 years now." Tilan recalled, it seemed she advanced during her sophomore year at university.

"Four years? Are you sure?" She glanced at Tilan again, wanting to ask how old Tilan was now.

"I always feel like you should be younger than me. Could I be wrong? After all, you Easterners don't show age and always look youthful."

Maggie wanted to continue talking, but at this moment Mire returned with the clothes.

"Are the items all set? These are your training outfits. You have five minutes to change into them now." With that, she tossed two tote bags towards them.

"Understood!" Maggie saluted then quickly tore open the package. Inside were two sets of slim-fitting training suits with built-in sensing elements, temperature adjustment systems, and some degree of protection.

At this time, Tilan also opened her package and went to the nearby bathroom to change. About three minutes later, she had nearly finished dressing, then pressed the node on the cuff according to the instructions on the paper. The training suit expelled excess air to fit snugly on her body, and the built-in ventilation system activated, starting a subtle air circulation.

"Feels acceptable?" Tilan thought to herself. She then took a few steps, confirming freedom of movement, and looked in the mirror.

In the mirror, the black-haired girl donned a dark teal one-piece training suit, with black lines along the shoulders, arms, and sides of the legs, along with various small components like the mini indicators on her forearms, slots strapped to the sides of her thighs, and rings secured at the waist.

Overall, it wasn't particularly attractive, but due to the girl's well-proportioned and excellent physique, it had a certain charm.

"I'm really not used to it; it's like wearing a swimsuit," Tilan secretly thought, but she couldn't worry about that now.

After coming out, she stood next to Maggie. Seeing they were both ready, Mire nodded and led them back to the hall where training had already begun.

In the designated training grounds on the hall's side, many were engaged in simulation battles, while others practiced handling sudden scenarios to aid soldiers in forming memories.

"If you find yourself on the battlefield and your starship is hit by the enemy, sustaining partial damage and unable to continue fighting or return, how would you survive?" An instructor was lecturing in front of a 20-person squad, likely comprised of recruits who had just enlisted.

"At this moment, the first step is to ensure your location won't be targeted again, the second is to ensure you've worn your protective suit capable of short-term space activity, and thirdly, look for possible escape devices."

"Moreover, if your captain and direct superior have perished and the battle is not over, but you can't reach the command center, how should you act, what's the primary objective, and what's the secondary objective?"

...

As the instructor continued to elaborate on responses to various situations, Tilan and a few other rookies arrived. They were quickly assigned to teams and began undergoing various trainings.

First, soldiers who had reported to duty a few days earlier explained the camp's rules one-on-one. After the explanation, Tilan and the others had to recite in front of the instructor. If anything was recited incorrectly, the instructor would question the soldier who had instructed the newcomer, checking their mutual comprehension and memorization level.

The first day was relatively relaxed, mostly spent learning various regulations. Physical training began on the second day, which was easily managed since all the rookies were Transcendents. By the third day, the training intensity was increased, prompting everyone to take it slightly more seriously. Firearms learning and usage training commenced on the fourth day; a few who had little prior exposure took additional time, while the majority from military academies were particularly proficient, requiring no further instruction.

By the fifth day, they gradually fell into routine, participating in various unexpected scenario drills and training on how to form teams and coordinate in battle.

In this way, Tilan slowly integrated into the training life for new recruits. Meanwhile, neither the Federal Central Council nor the Western Star Domain had received any new information, both in a calm before the storm.
