"…Man."

Taking a deep breath as both he and Ataraxia left the amphitheater, Valyr had a slightly troubled expression on his face, his mind going over the discussions the two of them shared with Lunarossa.

After accepting her request of catching Erika in the act, the two of them intently listened to everything the director told them after that, especially after she began to inform them of the path that led down to the amphitheater's third underground floor.

In fact, she also mentioned during her explanation that there were actually a total of five underground floors to the amphitheater, with only the first one being accessible to the public.

The reason behind that was because each underground floor below the first one served a different function.

The second underground floor served as a floor for the amphitheater's maintenance, while the third underground floor usually served as a warehouse of the amphitheater's stock.

As for the fourth and fifth underground floor, according to Lunarossa, that was where the private quarters of the amphitheater's permanent staff were, which she felt was part of the reason why Erika chose the third underground floor.

"Well… it would be stupid to just head down there without a plan in mind," muttered Valyr to himself, distancing themselves from the other people that left the amphitheater.

Gazing at the cityscape for a bit, the young man eventually came up with a rough plan, prompting him to look at Ataraxia as he gave him a slight nod.

Receiving a slight nod in return, the two of them then made their way to the nearest skill pavilion, only to be greeted by an attendant just as they entered.

"Sir Ylvar. Sir Ataraxia." The attendant faintly smiled at them. "How may the Algerie Skill Pavilion help you today?"

Nodding in acknowledgment, Valyr replied, "Do you have any stealth books available?"

"We do." The attendant swiftly replied, the gears in his mind beginning to turn after that.

After all, the two of them were possibly the most popular people to be a part of the ongoing Myriad Prodigies Tournament. What were they planning to do during the third round that needed them to obtain a stealth skill?

Of course, even though this thought lingered in his mind, the attendant did not voice this thought out, instead continuing to smile at the two as he began to head to another part of the pavilion.

"Follow me, sirs."

At those words, the two followed behind the attendant, passing through multiple aisles that contained the most popular skill books other people generally bought.

Though, as they got deeper and deeper into the pavilion, the more specialized the skill books became, which Valyr and Ataraxia took note of as a sign of a good skill pavilion.

In the end, it took the three a few minutes of continuous walking to arrive at the section containing stealth skills.

"Although our selection of stealth skill books pale in comparison to the other categories we have, we can still say with confidence that our customers have a decent range of skills to choose from."

Seeing that both Valyr and Ataraxia began to look through the selection, the attendant continued, "In total, there are 89 different skill books that focus on stealth. 56 of them are Common, 25 are Uncommon, while the remaining 8 are Rare grade."

Nodding at the attendant's words in gratitude, the two returned their attention on the various skill books in front of them, skimming through their broad descriptions before moving onto the next one.

"Hmm… this one, perhaps?"

"No, it's too short of a duration. With what we're planning to do, it should last a long time."

"But most of the skills that have that kind of duration only barely mask presences. You really those kinds of skills would work?"

Listening to the faint conversation the two shared while looking through the skill books, the attendant had a slightly odd expression on his face, inwardly wondering once more what the two were planning to do with the skill during the tournament.

In the end, his question would ultimately be left unanswered as the two of them finally decided on the skill they'd buy.

Ding!

[Art of Not Standing Out] (Passive)

Rarity: Common

Some skills focus on masking one's presence through the use of energy. Some skills utilize a unique movement to do the same thing. However, in the face of someone with strong perception, such skills would practically be useless.

With that being said… wouldn't it be better if one didn't stand out in the first place?

This skill gives the user the ability to direct part of the presence inward, reducing the chances of them being noticed by any beings in their surroundings.

The duration and strength of this skill is dependent on the level and rarity of the skill, the user's PER stat, as well as the mental strength of the user.

"We'd like to get two copies of this skill, please," said Valyr as he took the specific skill book out of the shelf, confirming that the skill they chose was the most suited for their needs.

Retrieving the book from the young man, the attendant then led the two towards the cashier before leaving, only to then come back with two copies of the skill they chose a couple minutes later.

After paying for the skill books they bought, the two then made their way to a secluded alley, with Ataraxia conjuring a barrier around them the moment they entered.

Whoosh!

Deciding to be the first among them to learn the skill, Valyr went ahead and took out his copy of the book from his spatial bracelet, absorbing its contents with the help of the system not long after.

Ding!

[You have obtained the passive skill 'Art of Not Standing Out'.]

After confirming that the skill was on his list, the two swapped places, with Valyr conjuring the barrier this time around as Ataraxia took out his copy of the book and infused it with mana.

Ding!

Hearing the notification go off in his mind, the young man opened his eyes under the belief that he now had the skill.

However, once he looked downward, he noticed that he still had his copy of the book in his hands, prompting both of them to look at each other in confusion.

Perplexed as to what was going on, Ataraxia went ahead and opened up his notifications, confident that the system would enlighten them on why he wasn't able to obtain the skill through his other identity.

Though, once he read the reason in detail, he could not help but frown.

[You have already obtained the skill.]
