Chapter 1540: Resonance of Existence
Ding!
[1,145,056,584 XP has been consumed.]
[Your level has increased by 19 levels.]
[You are now Level 75.]
Whoosh!
Feeling his strength undergo a massive increase in response to the system’s notifications, Ataraxia immediately closed his eyes as he sensed the newfound strength coursing through his body.
Acclimating himself to this higher ceiling of power, the young man eventually let out a sigh of contentment, only to then stand up as he began to do yet another set of basic combat movements.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
However, unlike before, each movement now contained far more force behind it, giving off the feeling that even if Ataraxia slightly grazed his body against something, it would immediately crumble under his might.
"Whew."
Sensing that he had regained full control over the strength in his body, the young man felt a sense of contentment sweep over him as he went ahead and brought up some of the notifications he received.
Ding!

"That’s a lot of stats."
Briefly whistling in response to the massive improvement in his strength after reaching the peak of Rank 4, Ataraxia went ahead and evenly allocated all of the unassigned stat points he got between INT and WIS.
Then, after spending a bit more time adjusting his control over the two improved stats, he commanded the system to bring up his status screen, only to be left at a loss for words the moment he did so.

Remarks: Now there’s two of them...?
————
"What... the fuck?"
Taking a while to comprehend just how strong he’d become after reaching the peak of Rank 4, the young man glanced at Valyr for a bit as he attempted to recall the latter’s stats just when he had first reached the peak of Rank 4.
Fortunately, with the two of them sharing thoughts and memories between one another, it did not take long for him to recall the certain thought, allowing him to find out that his current stats... were higher than what his original identity had at first.
"Damn." Coming to this realization, Ataraxia went ahead and showed his stats to Valyr, who unsurprisingly whistled in admiration the moment he laid his eyes upon it.
"Those are some solid stats," said the young man, faintly whistling as he looked at Ataraxia with a hint of pride and jealousy. "I’d reckon they’re higher than what I had at first."
"Not by a lot," said Ataraxia in response, slightly shaking his head.
Then, all of a sudden, he looked at his original identity with a smug grin. "It’s just a few hundred points higher on each stat. That’s all."
"Sure. Whatever you say." Though he felt a bit of anger rise up within him the moment he heard those words, Valyr decided not to act upon this emotion whatsoever.
Instead, he let out a calming breath as he shifted the topic of their conversation to something more important to them.
"Anyways, now that you’ve reached the peak of Rank 4, we’ve basically met the requirement Adam and Eve gave us," said the young man, looking at Ataraxia with a calm expression.
"Why hasn’t anything happened yet?"
"You think they prepared something in advance?" asked Ataraxia after a while, taking a bit of time to sense if there were any changes to them now that they were at the same level.
However, no matter how much checking he did, he came to the conclusion that nothing changed about them whatsoever.
"...From the looks of it, they just told us to aim for it as an initial goal of sorts," said Valyr after waiting for a bit himself, only to let out a sigh the moment he confirmed his hypothesis.
"Man... To think the third goal we set was actually usele—"

Just as he was about to finish voicing out his disappointment towards what the Administrators told them, both Valyr and Ataraxia felt as if a soft yet piercing horn had gone off in their minds all of a sudden, causing their minds to go temporarily blank.
Then, amidst this brief moment of blankness, the two heard a raindrop make contact with a puddle in their minds, only for the ripple caused by that collision to expand far beyond the scope of their mental world.
For that one blip of a second, the two felt as if they’d connected with the entire universe... only to return to their previous selves not even a second later.
"What..."
"Just happened...?"
Taking some time to digest and process what just happened, Ataraxia and Valyr looked at the ground for quite some time before looking at each other.
"Is this... is this what they prepared for us?" asked Ataraxia, the sensation of connecting with the universe still fresh in mind.
"I... think so?" Discarding the previous feeling of disappointment he had towards the matter, Valyr responded to his other identity’s question with the same tone.
After all, neither of them were privy to what just happened.
Whoosh!
Fortunately for them, just as they were about to start wracking their brains to hell and back as to what they just experienced, the two felt themselves connect to a faraway place with the help of a skill they’ve nearly forgotten existed.
The [Mark of the Fifth Administrator].
"The stars of fate have aligned once more."
Not long after the skill began to activate on its own, a familiar voice began to echo in both Valyr and Ataraxia’s minds.
"For that, it is due time that we meet again."
"Make sure to settle everything there first before I send you here."
"Adam and I have something special to show you two."
