Mommy Wolf: Raise A Cub, Claimed By His Beast Daddy-Chapter 155: Golden Tears
Jojo’s golden tears seeped into Kael’s skin, and the beast suddenly stopped moving, as if he had been petrified on the spot. His crimson eyes burned even brighter, but his face twisted in pain from mere tears.
"Grrrhh!" The beast’s attention shifted toward Jojo as the pain became unbearable. He glared at the boy with bright crimson eyes looming with malice. Then, he wrapped his fingers around the boy’s neck, ready to snap it or strangle the boy.
But Jojo didn’t fight back becuase he couldn’t see his father’s malice. He continued crying, allowing more tears to fall onto his father’s skin. "Daddy, you hurt Sisi. Let’s... let’s leave now."

As more of Jojo’s golden tears seeped into his skin, the real Kael began to fight against the curse inside his head. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
At first, all he could do was watch in anguish as the cursed Dusk Star took control of his body. They were like twisted twins, forced to witness how this body—the lustful beast—treated Sisi like prey, sniffing her savagely before tearing her dress and exposing her skin, ready to defile her.
In a more intimate setting, Kael would have been thrilled to see such a beautiful sight. But this was not what he wanted.
He didn’t want to hurt Sisi, and no matter how he tried to break free, the Dusk Star simply laughed and said;
"That’s impossible, Kael. All you can do right now is watch how you ruin the woman you are in love with."
Then, the curse continued taunting him.
"Didn’t I tell you that you would die alone and in agony? What makes you think you can suddenly find a loving mate and spend your final days with her?"
"Shut up!" Kael snapped. He tried punching this chattering twin of his, but the curse turned into smoke whenever he did.
Kael had decided that if this body truly dared to defile Sisi, then he would kill himself once he regained control.
He knew that wouldn’t be enough to redeem himself becuase Sisi would be scarred for life, but at least Sisi wouldn’t have to live in the same world as him.
And as for Jojo...
He knew Jojo had witnessed everything by now. Kael doubted his son would want to live in the same world as he did.
They were cursed from the very beginning anyway, so perhaps it was only right for both father and son to die, since their lives were intertwined.
"Are you planning to kill yourself after all of this is done?" the curse grinned using Kael’s face. "Then you’ll have fulfilled the prophecy, right? You will die alone and in agony, just like I said before."
...
Kael knew it was impossible to escape the curse. Yet his heart ached whenever he imagined dying in such a tormented way.
"If I couldn’t do anything until everything was done, then I will kill myself," Kael said calmly while staring at Sisi’s body. There was no trace of lust in his eyes now, because he knew Sisi was hurting, and that pain hurt him ten times more. "Even if that means I’ve fulfilled the prophecy, so be it."
"Then all of your sacrifice will be in vain. You failed to protect Jojo, accepted the curse, severed your bond with your fated mate, and then die after defiling the woman you love," the curse laughed maniacally. "Your life is truly a joke, Kael."
Kael did not deny it. He went silent, staring at what his body had done to Sisi. He forced himself to remember it all, imprinting the guilt into his mind so he would have enough resolve to kill himself later.
The Dusk Star wanted to torment Kael even further, so he said, "It won’t take long before she—ugh—argh! What the—why am I burning?!"
Kael turned his head immediately when he heard the Dusk Star writhing in pain.
There, he saw the usually untouchable curse suddenly coated in gold dust. The skin around one arm began to melt as it screamed, "That damn brat! Arrrghhh!"
Kael realized what was happening. It must have been Jojo awakening part of his Dawn Star power. Kael knew the Dawn Star was far stronger than his curse and could inflict real damage on him.
The body Kael no longer controlled turned toward Jojo and grabbed him by the neck.
"Jojo!" Kael shouted in horror as he realized his own body was about to kill his son, simply because Jojo could harm its impenetrable form.
Jojo’s eyes glowed gold as molten tears continued falling from the corners of his eyes. He showed no fear as he muttered:
"Daddy, you hurt Sisi. Let’s... let’s leave now."
Kael understood the implication. If this body killed Jojo, Kael would follow. He had once told his son that as long as one of them lived, the other would too.
Kael had already resolved to kill himself and bring his son with him so the Dusk and Dawn Stars would leave this era of the Roc Forest together.
But seeing Jojo’s tears made him hesitate.
Even if he had sinned greatly... did Jojo deserve to die as well? The boy was innocent, and all Kael wanted was for Jojo to grow up healthy and safe.
With newfound determination, Kael fought the beast inside him, slowly regaining control over his body.
"Grrrhh! Arrrrgghhhh!!"
Reclaiming his body was not easy and was agonizing, but he kept thinking of Jojo and Sisi.
Yes, he was a detestable bastard who deserved to die. But he would do anything to ensure they were safe.
When Kael finally opened his eyes again, he saw Jojo still crying gold, his fingers still wrapped around the boy’s neck.
If he had been even a second later, then Jojo would...
Kael didn’t let the thought finish. He immediately released his son. His body trembled violently as the beast inside him struggled to break free.
Ignoring the burning pain on his fingers, Kael wiped the golden tears from Jojo’s eyes and said hoarsely,
"Why are you crying, son? A boy shouldn’t cry so easily."
