Monarch of Darkness, Arsene-Chapter 1088 Mysterious Nephilim
"A Nephilim Feather!" Lily cried, alerting me to no end, as the feather blazed a flame-like aura that turned the skies a scarlet hue.
My gaze shifted to the twins, and my eyes popped as they began to fuse: bones, skin, ligaments, and organs began to melt one by one turning them into a puddle of gore. But as I continued to stare, the mass of flesh began to shutter and soon congeal.
"That… is disgusting. And I'm a connoisseur of exotic dishes."
"Focus! Arsene." Lily grumbled, " That feather carries the power of a peak fifth-level being. You can't be reckless."
"Pretty sure if I can survive Zantar, I can survive this." I carelessly replied, cracking my neck. I lifted Noctem and smiled as the Concept of supremacy and Eternity flared to life. I stood patiently as the twins took on a new form.
"... What do I call you? And on another note. You two fusing seems pretty sus. You're… in him, aren't you?"
"That's what's on your mind!" Lily cried.
"Is it not on yours? It's a valid question! I mean… No one ever thinks about it. It seems pretty weird if you ask me."
"I think you're just making it weird."
"Really?"
"..."
"..."
"Damn, now I'm thinking about it," Lily remarked. "We got to ask them! But if a guy and a woman fuse… does that make them trans? Oh my god!"
"See! Shit makes you think!"
"Yeah… you should fuse with Lilith."
"Hard Pass."
Refocusing on the battle ahead, a silvery-headed man in blue and green robes stood. Eyes interchanging between the two twin elements. I coldly watched as the Nephilim Feather danced powerlessly through the air, landing between the brow of the fused Monarch.
As if crowning him, the Nephilim Feather twisted into thorns, digging into the flesh of Lorian. Blood painted his face in streams, ebbing down his chin as he shifted his eyes to me.
My entire being turned cold. As if I was standing in a tundra with nothing but my bare ass, goosebumps instinctually prickled my flesh.
"By my Lord, I, Draxilore, will end you." He uttered, bending his knee.
I readied myself and shadowed stepped the moment my instincts screamed to me, and yet blood still spilled as a light gash appeared over my right shoulder, staining my robe; I frowned.
Unease splintered my mind, as did excitement as Abyssal flames splintered Heaven and Earth. Unable to help myself from tasting the fresh blood ebbing into my robes, I chuckled.
"Good! Very Good!" I cried and dashed like a vicious fiend towards Draxilore, whose fingers crackled with arcs of wind and lightning. However, just as he thought to move, seven blinding swords flashed to his side.
"Storm of Heavenly Binds!" I chanted, carving into his flesh, with a rupturing explosion. I tore through the explosion, finding a small wound over Draxilores chest. Who had managed to tank my spell? Nevertheless, it wasn't healing, so that was a win. f𝔯ee𝘸𝘦𝚋𝒏oѵ𝐞l.c𝒐𝓂
Applying the power of the Storm to my spear, a vicious battle exploded between us that shattered the border of the Eben Forest, leaving nothing but a wasteland stained with ash.
"HOW!!!!" Draxilore howled. " How can you still be my match!"
Locking eyes with Draxilore, Noctem swept towards his head at a blinding light, nicking his neck as his lightning spear slid over my cheek… Doing nothing.
If this were a normal battle, I'd be at a disadvantage, but I was utterly immune to the Elements, as to what degree. I didn't know, but it was apparent; not even lightning from the Fifth Heaven was enough to harm me.
Pivoting off my feet, Black Sabbith awakened, and I struck with a blazing ocean of flames at my command.
'Two steps back towards the east.' I commanded mentally, and as if my will had reached into Draxilore's mind, he did as I wished.
"SHIT!" He shouted in horror as a terrifying explosion bellowed through Heaven and Earth, forming Dead Laws that spiraled out of control.
Knowing he'd chuck it up to a mistake on his part, I dashed through into the sea of abyssal flames swarming Draxilore. Trapping him where he stood."
Noticing the Blood Crown over shimmering, protecting him from flames, I frowned, sensing its ability to resist my flame.
I've never seen anyone resist the Abyssal Flames. Interesting. Aside from putting Draxilore above my level in terms of Qi. That crown seems to have the ability to protect against something abyssal.
"The Elements do not affect you." He noted. "The only time I hurt you was with physical prowess or pure divinity."
"Tenebrae!" I shouted, attuning myself to her will. Suddenly a wave of authority consumed my mind. Filling me with new perspectives and sensations I'd never felt when I battled in the hells. As if my attunement to Tenebrae had risen… so too did my authority of all things Darkness. f𝐫𝑒𝗲𝙬𝒆𝚋𝐧૦𝘃𝗲l.c𝚘𝘮
A terrifying aura of tarnishing Darkness began to creep out from the Abyssal Flames, dimming the Nephilim Crown.
"NO FLAME SHALL HARM! I." Draxilore pointed the lightning spear spiraling with the wind element and lifted his free arm to his crown.
Suddenly… a pulse rippled through the void and into my blood. As a powerful sense of authority began to suck away my body heat. Even my soul began to dim as a powerful authority that was not my own attacked me.
"It's a battle of control!" Lily hurriedly yelled. " You have to—-"
"Mephisto made me his disciple! Before me! All authority is but an illusion! BLACK SABBATH!"
Bending, whoever, Will that suddenly sunk their fangs into me, blood gushed from my eyes and nose. Organs ruptured and splintered as I coughed up multiple mouthfuls of blood. Leaving only a crazed bloodlust attached to my soul.
I snapped! And the authority upon me suddenly flipped. No more was it crushing me, stealing my essence. It was instead attacking Draxilore.
Like a candle losing its light, the glow in Draxilores eyes dimmed, and without hesitation, for whomever to figure out what had happened. I dashed forth.
Running my spear through the heart of Draxilore, the Shard of Laevatein flared to life. Blazing with the aura of my children, an abyssal aura of carnage and death shattered the skies.
Sounds of glass shattering filled my ears, as I didn't hold anything back.
"Die!"
