Monster Integration (Web Novel)-Chapter 3723 Lucky
?"Finally, back on the path," I said as I looked at the map in front of me and the people in my soul waves.
It had been a day and a half since I got out of the field of broken formation to reach this place. Which is the road toward my destination.
It is much further than the captor took me, but it would still take me weeks to reach my destination, and I don't mind.
There are some opportunities on the way before I go to the exit. I will also be looking for the cultist. Especially of the beast god cultist, I want to kill those bastards.
I took a deep breath and controlled my emotions, before resuming my journey.
I will need to be more careful in targeting the cultists. Kill them as soon as I can and escape the hell away. I was barely able to escape from my captor, next time I won't be that lucky.
Hun!
A few minutes passed, and I looked left. There are two people fighting.
I didn't move toward the battle, but I sent my petals and seeds in there. With the recent changes, they can move anywhere in a range of my soul sense. So, I can send the petals and seeds.
They are also much faster than me in the stealth mode.
Soon, they reached the two and entered inside them. A minute later, they came out, and I increased my speed.
They are not cultists and as far as I could tell. The argument about something had turned into a battle. It is unlikely they will kill each other over this.
For the next half an hour, the journey had been smooth, before I needed to stop. A Sky Sovereign monster had entered my range and I rather not become its food.
Though, looking at the things; it might become someone else's food.
A few seconds later, I needed to jump in the abode, and I stayed there for eleven minutes. Till the Sky Sovereign, that killed the monster had flown out of the range of my soul sense.
Another hour passed, and a few crystals shot out of me.
They will react to Sky Sovereign's aura only. As for what they have; they have the information and aura sample of the bastard who had captured me.
Since I couldn't do anything to him, I would make others hunt him.
Though, I don't know whether he is alive or not. I had sensed the monster that had chased him, but I didn't sense him. It is likely the monster had killed him, but since I didn't see the body; I don't completely believe it.
Thus, the crystals.
Hours passed as I moved, stopping only when there was danger or someone to scan. I had scanned over fifty Earth Sovereigns, but not a single one turned out of the cultists.
Some of them might belong to cults, but I wasn't able to discover them. It was not easy to discover those bastards. If they had, we would have wiped the majority of them a long time ago.
"Well, this is surprising," I thought, as I looked at the small herb, hiding in the bushes.
It is a ronus herb, very rare, and it is not easily discoverable because it could easily mask itself as common grass which is surrounding it. Even monsters face the same difficulty, as it could mask its smell as well.
I carefully picked the herbs with my strings and put them in the core, before resuming my journey with a smile on my face.
I like it when I find things like that; things that are hard to find.
Soon, it was near evening and many Earth Sovereigns had started to find the hidden spot to spend the night.
I don't need to do that with my abode. Every spot is a hidden spot of me as long as there is no one around when I erect the abode.
Hun!
I was moving my way when suddenly I stopped and turned. My seeds have finally found something. She is not from the beast god cult, but a cultist, belonging to a cult, that takes part in ritual cannibalism.
There are clear signs in her body, that she had done it and not once but several times.
A few minutes later, I came out of the trees and the beautiful black tailed with a big round eye stopped and turned to me with a smile with a hint of cautiousness.
"Friend, you shouldn't sneak on people like this," she said.
I said nothing, but a sword appeared in my hand, and my seed increased. Seeing that, a smile on her face vanished and her expression turned serious.
"I do not have any interest in fighting. Especially at this time. If you want the resources, I will give you some," she said, but I didn't say a thing and appeared in front of her.
As I did, I winged my sword.
CLANNNNG!
She was able to defend against it, but barely, and it made her take tens of steps back, with the blood coming out of my lips.
"Why?" she asked, with anger blazing in her eyes.
"Loegar Tel," I said and moved toward her, and this time, I held back nothing. She was shocked seeing me speaking the name of her cult, but recovered quickly and moved her saber defense.
I reached her and attacked. Seeing it, she poured every ounce of energy into her saber.
Pachak!
I avoided her saber and rather easily, before my sword touched her neck and cut through it.
Her decapitated head flew up in the air before starting to fall.
"Lucky," I said.
She is lucky, because if it had been afternoon. I wouldn't have given her such a quick death. She would have suffered at least a fraction of the pain; she had caused it to her victims.
I waved my hand, and silver fire covered her head and body. Burning it into ashes while sparing her artifact and storage, which I collected before leaving the scene.
