Chapter 3744 Destination

CRRYYYYY!

The loud sharp cry rang out through the sky and all the monsters who were fighting had stopped before beginning to retreat.

Hundreds of people chased them in their fury, but I didn't move from the spot. I didn't even kill the monster I was fighting. I let it escape.

I saw no need for that. I have killed the monsters, I needed to and didn't feel like, I needed to kill more.

While others chased, I sat down and looked at the meta-scan and data appeared in front of me. I had always recorded myself and the battle was an important test to see if there was any problem with the life force I was absorbing.

There is none, as far as I could see, everything is looking perfect.

The alchemical methods and the practice methods are truly helping me digest the life force to its fullest and also bringing some surprising benefits.

Seeing them, I am glad. I didn't let my greed control me and let my body absorb the life force to its heart's content. It would have created some problems that I would need to spend some time to deal with.

Now, I didn't have to.

I looked at my meta-scan for a few minutes before turning to the other meta-scans. I had inserted the seeds into a few people.

It is those people who are practicing with the alchemical method, and I had told them about it, and their meta-scan looked good, too; better than I had expected.

It is not as good as mine, but good enough that if they followed the methods well. They won't need to worry about the side effects of the life force they have absorbed.

"Come back," ordered the Sky Sovereign.

Immediately begin to return and gather in the sky. I didn't move away from my spot for a minute, before flying up.

Six minutes later, we resumed our journey, but this time, there were no monsters following behind us. I don't think, we will need to worry about the monsters till we reach our destination.

Soon it was evening, and we stopped at the decided spot and set up our abodes.

I did what I was doing in the past nine days, and before I knew it. It was dawn, and we resumed our journey toward our destination.

The two days have passed in relative peace. There wasn't any battle aside from the group of Sky Sovereign monsters that decided to attack us, and our Sky Sovereigns have dealt with them.

It was a thirteenth day, and I could already feel the change in the air.

I have been feeling it since yesterday when we entered this new region, but today, it is much denser and getting denser every second. Many Earth-Sovereigns had reinforced their armor for extra protection from this energy.

Not everyone could handle the spatial energy as well as me.

I begin to feel a little stressed when I think about the exit. It is not conventional or safe; many people die when passing through them and they are dangerous enough that even Sky Sovereigns are powerless against them.

"As expected, they are too dense. We won't be able to move further before they thin up," said the Sky Sovereign as he returned, with a slightly pale face, than when he left toward the wall.

Or the curtain, made of spatial rifts.

I looked in front of me and saw the massive spatial rift, they were big and in huge quantity. Forming on a huge wall that even Sky Sovereign won't cross.

He, along with a few, tried to cross it, before returning.

"How long it would take for them to thin up?" asked the Sky Sovereign. To which, the other Sky Sovereign shrugged.

"I don't know; they don't seem to have any idea either," he said, looking at the city, not far away from us.

Yes, there is a freaking city in here, with thousands of people.

We aren't the only people who entered this abandoned ruin and since it is the only way, that leads to an exit. People need to come here to leave and since the spatial curtain is closed, enough people have gathered to form a freaking city.

Thud!

We moved toward it and soon landed in front of its gates before started entering inside.

There is no inspection, even alkaz wouldn't dare to do that, without sufficient numbers to back it up or having a powerhouse like a red-hunter that everyone respects and fears.

While there is no inspection, there is a registration.

They would take a small sample of one's aura and assign one a place where one can set up an abode. Most of the temporary places don't have such rules, but some fights have occurred, and they decided to do it.

Soon it was my number, and I placed my hand on the crystal before telling my name. A second later, I collected the badge and moved inside.

I didn't go to the place, I was assigned to the abode, instead went to the market.

In the dome, I didn't much visit the market despite being interested in many things. Here, I am going to explore the whole with a special focus on the seeds of the plants and their metallic essence.

I have seeds for nectar plants, but I want more. I want to grow different flowers to create the best honey.

Essences are also necessary for the metal-essence trees and there are some I still haven't gotten my hands on. It would be wonderful if I am able to get my hands on one or two of those metallic essences.

I entered the market, and immediately, a smile appeared on my face.

The reaction from my core had gotten stronger; there are many things it wants and many I want.

I could already see some of them and become excited before I took a deep breath to calm myself and walked toward the first shop.

I already have many of the things she needs. Let's hope she sells the things, I need at a reasonable price.
