"Al- Alpha Anastasia, are - are you alr- alright? Please, what’s going on?". Anders asked me, but despite that, I kept on walking towards him slowly, with my face void of any emotions.

As I got closer to him, my hand reached out to grab him.

"Mama?". I paused when I heard Fireball’s voice. I turned around and saw Fireball together with Irving.

They were standing at least, roughly calculating, five feet away from me.

I ignored them and returned my gaze to Anders, who had stood up on his feet and was running away from me.

"You can’t escape from me as long as my eyes are set on you". I said, before I flew towards Anders with my right hand reaching out, ready to grab his neck once more.

’Stop, Clara!’. Elektra shouted at me.

I didn’t answer her.

I was just an inch away from grabbing the back of Anders’ neck when both Fireball and Irving jumped on my back and brought me down.

I fell on the ground, and turning to Fireball and Irving while sitting on the ground, I saw that they were in their dragon forms now.

I tried to stand up, but they did something that restricted my movements. They rubbed their heads against each other and a blue flame formed. As soon as the blue flame touched me, I couldn’t move again.

They hurried to me and touched me using their forelimbs (also known as their hands). I saw that they retracted their sharp claws before they touched me.

In less than a minute after Fireball and Irving placed their forelimbs on me, I gasped because I felt something leaving my body.

’What are they doing?’. Elektra asked. She must be trying to understand what was happening.

Because of what Fireball and Irving were doing, I regained myself a little bit and understood that all they were doing was absorbing the dark energy in my body.

"Stop, Fireball, Irving. Both of you will harm yourselves if you continue absorbing the dark energy". I said to them, but they did not stop and absorbed the dark energy even more.

If I am not mistaken, it took over ten minutes before Fireball and Irving stopped absorbing the dark energy in my body.

I could not tell if they had absorbed all the dark energy that enveloped my body. But, I panicked when they suddenly collapsed on the ground.

After they collapsed, I could finally move my body.

I hurried up and touched them, before I began to hit and shake their bodies gently. "Wake up, Fireball, Irving. Why aren’t you guys moving?". I asked them, and seeing that they didn’t move even after what I was doing to them, I checked their breathing and noticed that they weren’t breathing.

I froze.

I didn’t know why, but hot tears began to pour out of my eyes. My throat felt dry, and my hands began to shake.

"Fireball. Irving. Stop playing a trick on me and wake up". I said to them and was expecting them to miraculously wake up.

I sensed Anders behind me. I initially didn’t want to turn to him, but realizing that I had scared him earlier, and that Fireball and Irving were now in their true forms, I turned to him.

"Dra- dragons?". He pointed a finger at Fireball and Irving as he said. I didn’t expect him to faint after saying that.

I guess not everyone was like me who didn’t faint but later accepted my fate after I saw real dragons for the very first time in my life.

"This isn’t good. I have to take Fireball and Irving away from here before anyone else sees their true forms". I said to myself, before I snapped my fingers and made them, including Anders, disappear to my hotel room.

Before I disappeared to my hotel room too, I created an enormous cage using my light magic.

Snapping my fingers once more, I made the dead hybrid creature and his heart appear inside the cage. In this way, no one would be able to easily manipulate its body or move its body away before I returned.

After disappearing into my hotel room, I ran to Fireball and Irving, who were on the ground.

I didn’t say anything and I just positioned my hands towards them as I began to heal them using my light magic.

Seeing that what I was doing wasn’t enough, I touched their bodies.

"Aaah!! Wake up already, both of you! Don’t you dare die on my watch". I cried out as I depleted my light magic and caused more light magic to enter their bodies.

With my light magic completely exhausted, since I hadn’t reached the peak of mastering it, I fell on the floor.

My eyes were opened, but my entire body said otherwise. Beads of sweat formed on my forehead and my head, wetting my hair. My body was dehydrated. I shut my eyes and meditated a little bit, before I was able to see that the source of my light powers (the small white shining ball) had faded.

It was no longer shining, but its color had faded. I had completely exhausted the source of my light powers while trying to save Fireball and Irving using my light magic.

I opened my eyes as I felt something, or rather, someone, touch me.

It was Fireball and Irving. They were staring at me. But, why did they look bigger? Were my eyes deceiving me?

I couldn’t look at them longer because my eyes gave up and I slept off.

Luciana’s pov

We arrived at my mansion.

The gates were opened by my security guard, who was a werewolf.

I parked my car and got out of the car. Living with humans has made me and my boys become adapted to living their way.

Caden and Chase, who were sitting in the back seats, got out of the car too.

We headed into the building in front of us.

As we arrived inside the living room, and after Caden and Chase sat down together on one of the sofas, I went ahead and sat down on the single seater sofa positioned opposite to the sofa they were sitting on.

Their gazes were fixed on me.

Taking a deep breath, my face became serious. "You must have heard some news about the late Alpha and Luna of the shadows’ pack some months ago. To tell you the truth, the late Luna of the shadows’ pack is my twin sister. And her husband is your biological father".
