I admit it. Alpha Mike is strong. But, he fights aggressively and does not settle down to make use of his brain to think in battle.

He was in his human form, but his fingers grew long. His fingers became claws.

He swung his hands at my face several times, but I easily dodged all of his attacks and grinned upon seeing an opening.

I gathered strength in my right leg and kicked his stomach.

He flew many feet away from me and landed roughly on the ground.

’That’s what you get for fighting me at such a close range’. I thought. I was really enjoying the fight. The more I fight, the more knowledgeable in battle I get and the stronger and more experienced I become.

Alpha Mike spat out blood from his mouth. He wiped his mouth using the back of his hand and stood up.

His aura had become more threatening, but I wasn’t bothered because I knew what the outcome of our fight would be.

I will win.

"Enough playing around with you!". Alpha Mike shouted as he transformed into his wolf form.

’Enough playing around? Seriously? Is he even aware that I used only fifty percent of my strength against him?’. I wondered and found his words a joke to my ears.

Alpha Mike launched at me.

As he ran towards me at full speed, the heavy sound caused by his paws made the stamped concrete ground tremble.

’I don’t need to transform into my wolf form to deal with you, Mike’. The second I thought about this, my body moved to the side before Alpha Mike could touch me.

Before he could turn in my direction, I focused my energy on my agility, and after causing my fingers to grow longer, my movements became so fast, and I ran around him within four seconds and halted, before letting out a breath through my mouth.

I was standing in front of Alpha Mike with my back facing him. "Battle over". I muttered upon hearing a loud thud.

Alpha Mike had fallen to the ground as I had slashed his four legs.

It was clearly a battle over. Sadly, he was stubborn.

By ’he’, I mean Alpha Mike.

"I- the fight is not yet over! I can’t lose in a fight to you! Especially not to a woman!". Alpha Mike said with a groan and I turned to him.

He tried to stand up but ended up falling. I didn’t say anything to him or anyone as I wasn’t planning on stopping him.

Just then, several werewolves began to enter the mansion. Most of them, I recognized. Among them, I sensed Alpha Dylan’s presence and his lover’s presence. Lucinda.

Though I sensed their presence, I didn’t turn to look at them as my gaze was fixed on Alpha Mike, who was struggling to stand up.

Since he couldn’t stand up, he shifted into his human form.

His face was pale, but he quickly stood up and tried to grab my neck.

I didn’t know the reason why, but I smiled when his hand was an inch away from grabbing my neck. I sighed and bent down and he missed.

’Clara, how about you return the favour to him?’. Elektra said to me. It was as if she knew that that was what I wanted to do.

I instantly stood up and grabbed Alpha Mike’s neck using my right hand. I lifted him up from the ground, and he started to struggle to breathe and grabbed my arm using his weak hands.

The werewolves standing aside began to mutter among themselves.

Beta Samuel rushed to my side and I noticed the way he was sweating on his forehead.

"Let go of Alpha Mike, Alpha Anastasia. You have defeated him". Beta Samuel said to me, and I saw how he lowered his head in shame as he avoided the gazes of the werewolves watching.

I didn’t let go of Alpha Mike who was struggling and purposely said in a loud voice, "Alpha Mike was the one who attacked me because he didn’t believe that I was a capable Alpha. He said there was no way the great news about me was true. He also didn’t agree that I killed those wild beasts two months ago during the competition I proposed to all ten Alphas. So I agreed to fight him because it seemed he wanted to test my strength".

"Fair and square, I defeated your Alpha, Beta Samuel. I am sure that you are currently seeing that. So, if you don’t know how to plead for your Alpha’s life, get out of my gracious sight". I finished talking and gripped Alpha Mike’s neck tightly, making his face turn beyond pale.

The werewolves began to gossip even more.

"She was the one who made Alpha Mike look like shit? And Alpha Mike is at least ranked seventh among the strongest werewolves!".

"What do you outsiders expect? Of course, our Alpha Anastasia is more than you think! She’s stronger than all werewolves combined!".

"I agree with you. Our Alpha Anastasia is not to be underestimated or messed with!".

"To me, our Alpha Anastasia is the strongest werewolf ever. She recently awakened her wolf this year, and she’s very strong. Even stronger than the werewolves who had awakened their wolves for ages! It was thanks to our alpha Anastasia that our warriors defeated those hybrid creatures!".

The voices of my people surpassed the other werewolves (The Alphas and the werewolves they brought with them).

My invited guests were speechless.

"Please, Alpha Anastasia. Let go of Alpha Mike. I beg of you". Beta Samuel pleaded with me. He must think I am blind. Did he think I wouldn’t notice him gritting his teeth?

Anyway, I let go of Alpha Mike and he fell on the floor.

Beta Samuel immediately squatted and helped Alpha Mike up.

"Tsk". I shook my head, and, dipping my hand into my trousers’ pocket, I brought out my healing balm and my signature saving pills that were inside a portable resealable plastic bag and gave them to Beta Samuel, who hesitated at first, but seeing Alpha Mike’s miserable condition, he collected them from me.

"Make sure he drinks the pills. He would be okay. As for the healing balm, you should apply it on his injured legs. The healing balm would make his injuries heal faster". There are up to fifty. Most of them should be my werewolf citizens.

"Welcome, everyone. I am glad you made it here. Before we proceed with the emergency meeting, does anyone else want to fight me?!".
