Fireball and Irving looked so much better after I consoled them. As I tried to place them on my bed, they didn’t refuse to let go of me anymore and quietly allowed me to place them on the bed.

Though they were staring at me with their large eyes, as if they were trying to tell me or warn me about something.

"Oh, I wish both of you could talk a lot already, so that I would know what is bothering you". I sighed in defeat and was reluctant to leave their side.

’Wait, Clara, I think you are forgetting about something!’. Elektra exclaimed, and I had to hold my ears with my palms as her voice was very loud.

"Don’t ruin my ears for me, Elektra". I said to her without bothering to mind - link her.

’Have you forgotten that you can read their minds using your mind-reading powers? Surely, they must be thinking about something important right now’. She said to me and ignored the words I said about her, ruining my ears.

But, how did I forget about something like that? How the heck did I forget about my mind reading power?

I stopped wondering and instantly unblocked my mind reading power.

My focus was on Irving, as I wanted to read her mind first.

’I wish I could have a conversation with you, mama. I wish I could tell you right now about what my big brother and I sensed last night. That presence we sensed last night is very dangerous and feels very familiar to me and Fireball. My brother and I could not move as we sensed it. I don’t know why, but I feel that you are in danger, mama’. I stopped reading Irving’s mind. Actually, I could not read her mind any further, as I had reached the time limit of reading her mind.

You see, I can’t just continuously read a mind. There’s a time limit.

And Irving, she wasn’t thinking fast, so I couldn’t read her mind faster, thus making me reach the time limit.

Anyway, I can still use my mind reading power four more times. But, I am afraid I can’t do that.

I don’t want my energy to get drained.

Not today of all days.

So, I will read only one more mind. And that was Fireball’s mind.

I focused on Fireball and read his mind too, ’Mama, you have to be careful. My little sister and I can’t tell you this right now, but we sensed something very dangerous last night. Fireball, a dragon who will probably grow up and become a mighty powerful dragon, thinks I gave birth to him!

No wonder he and Irving call me mama.

They really think I am their real mom.

I pouted my lips as I did not know how I would react. "I am going to the bathroom. Stay here and wait for me, both of you". I said to them, before I turned away from them and walked towards the bathroom that was on the opposite side of the room.

After entering the bathroom and shutting the door from inside, I rested my back against the door, after which I slowly began to sink to the ground and stayed in a sitting position.

"I should tell them that I am not their real mom. I can’t allow them to keep on thinking that I was the one who gave birth to them". I said to myself and nodded in acknowledgment to what I had just said.

’Pfft!’. Elektra laughed at me again, and I frowned.

"What is so funny?". I hissed and asked her.

’You, Clara. I find you so funny’. She replied to me, and when she continued to laugh at me, I furrowed my eyebrows.

I said to her, "Since you are in a happy mood, Elektra, I am going to give you control of our body and stay in the abyss. I want to train in the abyss and clear my distracting thoughts!".

’Wait! At least finish bathing before you give me control of our body! You know I hate bathi-!’.

I made Elektra take control of our body before she could finish talking. She stopped talking because as she opened her eyes, she found herself in reality. In the outside world.

"Not cool, Clara!". She shouted at me, before she covered her mouth and gasped after realizing the mistake she had made.

’I am sorry, Clara. I didn’t mean to shout your other name’. She mind - linked me as she apologized to me.

’It’s alright, Elektra. This isn’t the first time you called me Clara after you took control of our body. But try to be extra careful next time’. I told her, and she immediately nodded like an obedient little kid.

As Elektra rose up to her feet, I said to her, ’I won’t reply to you or talk to you for a little while. I want to focus all my attention and practise my light magic and combat skills’.

"No problem, Anastasia". She replied to me, and went ahead to bathe while she muttered words of complaint.

I found her fierce, cute and adorable.

Not paying attention to her again, I paid attention to my surroundings.

The empty, endless abyss. I can walk on and on for hours, but the space-like abyss will not come to an end.

It was a month or so since I discovered that I could use my powers here in the abyss. Well, except for my mind reading power. I have no idea if I could use my mind reading power in this place because there was not anyone else here with me that I could read their minds.

I have a body whenever I am in this abyss, or whenever Elektra is in the abyss, I am certain she has the same body as me.

This body’s appearance is the exact same appearance and physique as my body (the fake Anastasia’s body) in the outside world.

Also, the clothes this body wears always change according to my preference, and most especially, according to my mood. And I am sure that it was the same thing for Elektra and other werewolves too.

Like now, I was wearing dark colored brown trousers and a dark colored brown top that had long sleeves and armor attached to my shoulders.

I was equally wearing two pieces of armor that started from both my wrists, ending all the way to my joints.

This abyss is a remarkable and fascinating place. But, it was very quiet and boring.

Well, this place is very boring.

But, I wouldn’t feel the quietness and boring atmosphere anymore if I paid full attention to the outside world and listened to the outside world’s noises and dramas.

But since I am totally ignoring the outside world right now, like not listening to or looking at the outside world from this abyss, the abyss will remain boring and quiet, even though there is a lot of noise currently going on in the outside world.
