Mr Bodyguard, Protect Your Heart!-Chapter 187: WE ARE TWINNING

Dove felt her heart in a sweet way, that was not very easily describable. She bit her lips slightly, before she cleared her throat, and then averting her gaze, said, "You should have eaten. There is no need for waiting until this late."

Dante turned his head to look at her, and when he saw her averting gaze, and pink cheeks, as if she did not know where to keep her hands and feet, or where to look.

Dante chuckled, and he titled his head to the side, nodding his head, "Sure, we can see about that." And he winked, making her face gain more colour.

And before Dove could say anything else, Dante pulled out a chair, gesturing her to sit. Dove pursed her lips, huffing and murmured, "Such a flirt. So annoying."

And thus, both of them ate their lunch, sharing a comfortable silence. It was a moment of comfort and peace.

Dante, meanwhile, kept stealing glances at Dove. The crawling feeling he felt in his heart from yesterday, finally soothed a little. That dejected feeling eased a little, as the relationship between them did not feel so strained anymore, that came all of a sudden.

After the lunch was over, when Dante thought that he could utilise this time to soothe things over them, and talk about what was wrong earlier, he found no time. Soon after they were done, Dove was again, busied over by work again, on her desk.

Though, Dante could understand that Dove was busy with the affairs that concerned the Davis’ Enterprise, and her latest takeover. But that still couldn’t ease the big fat frown in her heart.

But very well, Dante too did not get time to sulk for a very long time, as Calix too called him, reminding him of the meeting they had with an investor today. He also reminded Dante that this was important and he needed to be present there.

When Dante checked the options for the location for meeting, he saw the same restaurant, where Dove and her friend had reserved for dinner. So without any second’s delay, he informed his choice to Calix. And he also asked to schedule the meeting’s timing to when they would go to the restaurant.

Calix nodded and accepted. And after a second’s thought, he said, "Then, I will arrange someone to take over your place to look after Miss Dove. Should I send them now."

But to his surprise, Dante denied it. And from there he knew, that Dove also had dinner plans at that restaurant, so Dante just said that the bodyguards could just take their place at the restaurant. Calix agreed to it, and after the conversation was over, he tsked his tongue as he looked at the caller id in his phone. ’No wonder he was so fast to come to a decision.’

At times like these, Calix really wondered that if just liking Dove, without her knowledge can turn Dante a person that Calix doubted was the real Dante, than what would happen when they really got together. And just the thought of it made chills go up his spine. He better not think about it.

Dove had wrapped up the work soon today. When it was time to leave, Dove helped Gavi to get dressed in the room of her office. After Gavi was dressed up, he looked like a little price out of a kid’s magazine.

Gavi looked at his reflection in the mirror with big bright lips and a cute smile on his lips. He turned left once , and then right, and then straight again. Giggling, he covered his lips with his small palms and said, "I look handsome!"

Dove laughed too, as she nodded her head and said, "Of course, you do. You are my little prince charming, after all."

Gavi held his cheeks, feeling overwhelmed when his mother complimented him. And then he perked up at once, and said, "Then, I should go and show my outfit to Uncle Dante!"

Dove who was smoothening her clothes, and doing a little touch ups, looked at her son who was eager to show his clothes to Dante. She smiled and nodded at him.

Then she followed the little boy who had rushed out of the room, with a smile. When Dove stepped out of the room, her eyes fell on the small figure who had stopped in his track. Her brows drew closer and just when she was about to ask if something as wrong, her gaze moved upwards and fell on the person standing in front of them, and she froze too.

Her gaze moved to the handsome man standing in front of her. And while, she looked at Dante everyday now, but something about him was differently eye catching. The clothes he was wearing right now.

Normally, ever since, Dante had taken the duty of being their bodyguard, he would dress semi formally. And even though, he would still look really good looking and carry a formidable aura around him, but today? It was completely something else. He was wearing a formal piece of clothing, with a waist coat, and a long outer coat. The colour was charcoal black, with golden cufflinks and golden buttons.

He looked like a king out of a high end novel.

Gavi blinked his eyes, before they subtly widened as he walked closer to Dante. And when the little boy stood in front of him, he said enthusiastically, "Uncle Dante, see we are twining!"

Dante looked at the little boy before picking him up and carrying him in his arms. They turned to look at the glass pane, that reflected their reflection, and Dante couldn’t help but raise his lips in a satisfied smirk. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

The little boy was dressed in a white shirt, a black jacket and black pants. And he had a cute golden bow tie around his neck. While, Dante was wearing all black outfit, and Dove wore a white formal dress. Gavi complimented so well with them together.
