Daniel rubbed his forehead in frustration. When he looked up again, he saw Chantelle leaning against the doorframe with a faint smile on her lips.

"What’s making you smile like that?" he asked as he walked up to her.

Chantelle laughed out loud. She looked stunning, like a rose in full bloom.

"I never thought I’d get to see you looking so lost and helpless."

She had seen everything that happened earlier. It was clear Stephanie did it on purpose.

"These antiques were Kate’s. I actually forgot all about them," Daniel said. "I didn’t plan to keep them on display forever. Looks like my wife gets jealous easily....but I have to admit, I kind of like it."

Daniel placed his arm on the wall just above her head. He stood in front of her, looking both dominant and romantic.

He had been living at the Western Hill Villa lately. He rarely came to the Wilson residence, so he had forgotten all about those vases.

But knowing that Chantelle got jealous over something like that oddly made him feel good inside.

Chantelle slipped out from under his arm, her cheeks slightly red. "I’ll transfer the money to you later. I hope you don’t mind me spending a little money to make my daughter happy."

"If something that small makes her smile, I don’t mind at all," Daniel replied.

Then he told the maids to clear out all the old stuff and bring in new ones.

"Do you really think I told Steph to break all those vases?" Chantelle asked. She would never raise her child that way.

She also never showed bad emotions in front of them.

If she had kept telling Kane and Steph over and over about what Daniel did in the past, like someone who nags all day, there was no way Kane would forgive him so fast.

Even back in Carcosa, no matter how badly Trenton treated her, she never spoke badly about him in front of the kids.

That’s why they only avoided Trenton when they saw him. They never thought about getting revenge for her.

"Of course, I know Stephanie broke those vases by accident," Daniel said. "But when I saw that smile on your face, I figured you’d been wanting this to happen for a long time."

"I’m just laughing at how dumb you are, okay?" Chantelle replied, trying not to roll her eyes.

Daniel, who thought he had figured her out, was now completely confused.

Suddenly, he heard a loud shutter sound. Chantelle had just taken a photo of him with her phone.

"Chantie, over here!" Thea called out, waving as she sat beside Philip.

From a distance, Chantelle saw that Rowan and Camille were at the show too. Two young men sat beside them. They looked a bit like Rowan, but not much like Camille.

When the two guys looked into Chantelle’s eyes, they were stunned. Their faces looked a little dumbfounded.

Chantelle chuckled but then noticed their eyes turning red like they were about to cry.

Were they scared of her face? Or stunned by her beauty? It had to be the second one.

"Chantie, what are you staring at?" Thea asked as she stood in front of her and blocked her view.

Then Thea leaned closer and whispered, "I didn’t invite Camille, okay? Mr. Marco sent the invite to Rowan. Camille just came along."

Chantelle wanted to find out if Camille had anything to do with locking her in that private room and trying to poison her. That’s why she didn’t really mind seeing Camille here.

She planned to use this chance to get some answers from her.

But the two guys who kept staring at her were acting strangely.

"What surprise were you talking about on the phone?" Philip leaned closer to Thea as she came back to her seat.

But Thea turned him down right away.

Philip shot Chantelle a bitter look. He took a sip of water and tried to act like he wasn’t embarrassed.

"You’ll know soon enough."

"Then stay here and watch the show with me. Don’t sneak off somewhere. Mr. Wilson already warned me that if you disappear, he’ll kill me."

"Relax, he wouldn’t dare touch anyone on my side," Chantelle said casually.

The fashion show started shortly after. Everyone turned their attention to the runway.

Chantelle had planned this event to ignite excitement before the charity dinner tomorrow night. She wanted to rebuild people’s trust in the Glamorous Grove brand.

Just think about it, these outfits on the models today are stunning. They’ll leave a lasting impression on everyone here. Tomorrow, the guests could wear these same pieces to the charity dinner and enjoy all the attention they get.

"Our little princess is so elegant! Chantie, this surprise is amazing! I’m seriously blown away!" Thea was so excited when she saw Stephanie that she hugged Chantelle and started jumping up and down.

Just then, Chantelle noticed the two guys sitting beside Rowan. They were staring at Stephanie blankly.

No, there was something off about the way those two looked at Stephanie. Their eyes were filled with a strange kind of obsession.
