My Amnesic Ex Married My Sister, So I Married His Uncle-Chapter 83: If You’re Satisfied, Please Give a 5-Star Rating
Stella Sterling took two steps back, her eyes watching him coldly.
She hadn’t recognized him at first, but after what Felix Hollis said, she remembered.
Stella’s face was expressionless. "So it’s Mr. Hollis."
Felix Hollis’s narrow eyes slithered over Stella’s face like a viper’s. "Heh, didn’t you just say you didn’t know me? Why the sudden change of tune?"
Stella didn’t want to waste words on him. "Is there something you need, Mr. Hollis? If not, I’ll be on my way. I have friends waiting for me."
"Friends? What friends? Aren’t you married? A married woman in a place like this, and your husband doesn’t mind?"
There was no point in continuing the conversation. Stella nodded slightly. "It seems you don’t have any real business with me, Mr. Hollis. You’ve had too much to drink. You should let your friends take care of you."
With that, she turned to leave.
Felix deliberately took a large step to block the path she was taking around him. "Stop! Where do you think you’re going? I’m not done talking! Stella Sterling, don’t mistake my kindness for weakness. You keep pissing me off. What, does the Sterling Family not want to do business anymore?"
Hearing this, Stella stopped and frowned.
It wasn’t that she was worried about the Sterling Family’s business, but that Felix Hollis was drunk, and she was facing two men. A direct confrontation would not be to her advantage.
"Then what is it that you want, Mr. Hollis?"
As if satisfied with her compliance, Felix Hollis’s narrow eyes curved into slits as he leered at Stella with undisguised desire.
"I’m sure you’ve heard that your family’s business isn’t doing so well lately. The main reason is that you embarrassed the Hollis Family the other night. I don’t want to make things difficult for you. If you make me happy tonight, I’ll have my dad write off what happened at the engagement party. How about it?" Felix clapped his hands. "Perfect timing. Young President Sterling is hosting tonight. You can come have a couple of drinks with me."
As Felix spoke, he reached out to grab Stella, but she dodged him. "Mr. Hollis, please have some self-respect!"
The man with Felix also tried to block her path, his already greasy face flushing red with displeasure.
The two men whispered to each other, their words inaudible.
A moment later, Felix seemed to have been persuaded, his expression calming down.
He looked at Stella and stepped aside to let her pass. "Since Miss Stella Sterling is unwilling, then forget it. I, Felix Hollis, have never been one to force people against their will."
The change in his attitude was so bizarre that Stella grew suspicious.
She didn’t move immediately. Felix, however, made a gentlemanly gesture for her to go first.
After a long moment, Stella finally started walking forward.
Ariana Grant’s private room was just ahead, but Stella was suddenly yanked hard and dragged into a different room.
The door to the room slammed shut with a BANG, mingled with a girl’s shriek. Every eye in the room immediately focused on them.
Stella was shoved onto the sofa. Before she could recover from the chaotic surprise, she heard a familiar and irritating voice. "Stella? What are you doing here?"
Stella looked back and saw that the room was quite crowded.
Chase Sterling and Kiana Sterling were both there, along with a few unfamiliar faces.
Felix Hollis’s voice came from behind her. "Young President Sterling, you can stop trying so hard. I know why you’ve been wining and dining me these past few days. As the saying goes, the one who caused the problem must be the one to solve it. Coincidentally, Miss Stella Sterling is here. I have no other requests. As long as she makes me happy tonight, our two families can continue to cooperate happily. But it seems Miss Stella Sterling isn’t too willing. Chase, why don’t you help persuade her?"
’He’s even calling him Chase.’ It seemed he was genuinely interested in burying the hatchet.
Chase Sterling was tempted.
’Lately, nothing has been going right.’
Several projects he was negotiating were suddenly canceled, and the president of the only remaining promising project was an old fox.
He was making no headway on new projects, and a rift had formed between Tyford and their long-time partner, the Hollis Group.
He couldn’t afford to lose his established foundation.
So, Gavin Sterling had sent Chase Sterling to get on good terms with Felix Hollis, trying to mend the relationship with the Hollis Family through him.
His broken arm was inconvenient, and he was nearly dying from frustration.
Kiana Sterling had seen him throwing a tantrum at home and came up with the plan to set up tonight’s gathering.
Felix Hollis might look the way he did, but he was a lecher.
So Kiana had invited Zoe Yates tonight, and Zoe had brought a few of her girlfriends to liven things up.
Felix Hollis had been drinking happily all evening, but he hadn’t given any ground.
’Who would’ve thought Stella would be here too.’
’That’s right. The one who caused the problem must be the one to solve it.’
Chase Sterling spoke up. "Stella, come over here. Have a few drinks with Mr. Hollis."
...
「On the other side.」
Not long after Stella Sterling had left the private room, someone pushed the door open and walked in.
Ariana Grant thought Stella had forgotten something and looked up, only to see a familiar man.
The man was still dressed in a loose white T-shirt and black trousers. He had sharp brows and starry eyes that shone brightly. He wore no other accessories except for a Praying Bead Bracelet on his left wrist.
Ariana Grant’s eyes curved into a smile as she spoke in a flirtatious tone, "Well now, did you get lost, kiddo?"
The four male models in the room turned to look, and their expressions all grew tense.
Before the four could greet him, Julian Chandler smoothly cut in. "Hello, ma’am. The manager asked me to come and see if you were satisfied with our service tonight. If you are, please be sure to leave us a five-star review~"
Ariana Grant raised an eyebrow. ’Oh, so we’re playing games now, are we?’
’Fine.’
Ariana casually swirled the wine in her glass, looking bored. "It was so-so. Not much different from any other place." She lifted her gaze to him. "But if you’re willing to come have a drink with me, kiddo, I might consider giving that five-star review."
Julian Chandler immediately smiled and walked over. The mother hen and Florence, who were sitting beside Ariana Grant, quickly got up to make room.
He sat down, and Ariana handed him the menu. "Order whatever you want."
Julian Chandler’s bright eyes sparkled as he pointed to a wine and asked obediently, "Ma’am, can I have this one?"
Ariana waved her hand magnanimously. "Order it."
"I’d like to have this one too, ma’am."
"Order it."
"And I want this one... and this one..."
Watching the prices under Julian’s finger climb higher and higher, Ariana leaned in close with a smile, her high heel "accidentally" pressing down on the top of his shoe.
"What’s the matter? Never had a drink before, kiddo?"
Julian looked aggrieved. "Ma’am, didn’t you tell me to order whatever I want? Don’t tell me you’re not willing to spend money on me?"
Julian had beautiful eyes. When he stared at someone with that dewy gaze, it was utterly bewitching.
But Ariana could still detect a hint of playfulness in their depths.
It wasn’t that Ariana Grant was short on money.
Ariana Grant just couldn’t stand Julian Chandler’s smug, cheeky attitude.
Her slender fingers, adorned with a perfect manicure, traced a line down Julian’s cheek. Ariana’s breath was as fragrant as an orchid. "Of course not. I’m willing to spend any amount of money for you. Order it. Order everything you want. But you have to drink it all, kiddo. Otherwise, if I’m not happy, you won’t get your five-star review. Not only that, I’ll give you a bad review. And I’ll get lots of people to give you bad reviews too."
