The stamina recovery medicine had a familiar taste

I picked up Leo’s bottle and tried smelling it.

It was not an especially pleasant smell. In fact, I could barely smell anything at all…

I could only detect a faint grassy scent.

“The taste… I did not really enjoy it myself.”

“Me too. Though, I wouldn’t say that it was horrible…”

Ms. Lyra and Milina did not think it was delicious either.

I put a drop on my finger and licked it.

From what I could taste, their reactions did make sense.

“Wuff?”

“Isn’t it good?”

Liza and Leo also looked at me to see my reaction.

“Actually, it’s similar to something I’m quite familiar with… And so I rather like it.”

“Papa likes it too!”

“Wuff-wuff.”

“Is that so!?”

“A few of the other servants liked it as well. So I suppose it depends on the person.”

It really did taste similar to the energy drinks I used to get back in Japan.

Though, some were definitely more bitter than others. But this one had a pineapple-like flavor, which was similar to the one I used to drink.

“This feels like something I would have made… Even if it was Milian who made it?”

“Really?”

“Before… Well, when I was really busy, I used to drink something like this. I thought I would never drink one again, so it brought back memories.”

You were only supposed to drink one a day, but I sometimes drank two or three.

“In any case, it’s not something that anyone would find too bad. So it should be fine.”

“Indeed. And since some people even enjoy it, I think it will sell quite well.”

Even if it wasn’t to your taste, people would still buy it for the stamina recovery effect. Apparently, a lot of medicine here tasted horrible, so I wasn’t really worried.

Though, we were running out of grape juice, so she mostly drank milk recently… And even if the recovery medicine was good for you, we could not serve it during every meal.

If Leo and Liza were drinking them, there wouldn’t be enough to sell.

“Not at all. I will continue to do my best and think of more effective methods of concocting medicine!”

She seemed to really enjoy the work, and was enthusiastic about it. She was very reliable.
