My Evil Crown Prince-Chapter 96: School Dilemma Part 3
The royal guards and A.E Security team joined their forces together to protect Caden and everyone. Aside from them, Alira knew that the men of the Forelli Clan were watching in secret.
They casually stepped out of the principal’s office. And in front of the building, reporters from different networks swarmed the area. Media Tech which was owned by the Jackson’s was also there.
Caden allowed Media Tech to be there. It would ruin the network’s credibility if it would side with him since everyone knew that he was a friend of its next CEO.
The guards protected them so they could go straight to the Platinum Class’ building. As they walked through the hallway, Alira saw the discerning eyes of the students. Some were murmuring to each other.
"Hey, don’t mind them. You didn’t do anything wrong. And even if I did, they have no right to judge me." Caden calmly said.
She nodded and took his hand so they could walk toward their classroom together.
Their classmates became quiet when they arrived. Alira was a bit sad because most of the guys were already close to Caden.
They sat quietly in their seats and waited for the next period. There was a ruckus outside and the first period had been announced to be a self-study because the teachers were busy talking to the reporters.
"Caden, I’m having a hard time understanding this statement. Can you explain it?"
She was surprised that someone had approached Caden. It was Miguel, a nerdy good-looking guy who hung out with Caden.
"What statement?" Caden asked.
"This one." Miguel pointed a phrase in the book.
"An obstacle is often a stepping stone." Caden frowned while looking at Miguel. "This is easy."
Miguel smiled. "Oh, come on! Help me, please."
Caden shook his head but he answered. "Things that appear as a hindrance are most likely the things that could help you achieve your goals."
Miguel nodded. "So don’t give up, okay? There may be people who wanted to stop you or ruin you, but a lot of us believes in you."
Alira heard every word Miguel said. She looked around their classmates and they were all smiling at them. Her heart fluttered and tears started to fill her eyes.
"Hey, we’re here. We know Caden wouldn’t do anything reckless. Besides, if he did, there might be a good reason." Samantha said while comforting her.
"Thank you, Sam."
She turned to Miguel and smiled at him. "Thank you." She whispered.
Caden chuckled. "I didn’t expect to be treated this way. I was already prepared to get a cold treatment from you, guys."
Miguel laughed. "We are not naive. Even if you did something to Gregory Allen, I think he deserves it."
Caden frowned. But before Miguel continued his statement, he looked at the guys near the doors and nodded. They closed both entrances and covered the windows by the hallway.
"He’s actually a bully. And the worst one. We gathered some evidence to back it up. Here."
Miguel handed Caden his phone and showed photos and videos of Gregory Allen bullying other students.
"He’s the class representative. A smart and polite kid, but behind his mask, he’s a devil. A wolf in sheep’s clothing."
Caden grinned. "You do believe that I have him, right?" He asked Miguel.
Miguel hesitated at first, but nodded.
"We know, Caden." Lea exclaimed. "I saw your men took him, but I’m not the witness if you will ask me."
"Then do you believe I did something bad to him?" Caden asked, strolling his eyes around their classmates.
Another guy stood up, surprising everyone because he was the most quiet person in the class. Caden nodded, allowing him to speak.
"I want you to do something bad to him. I was his victim." The guy was Leopold White, eldest son of a senator.
"I know what you’re thinking. I am from the Platinum Class and the eldest son of a government official. Why would I allow myself to get bullied by someone from the Bronze Class? But it’s the truth. I didn’t tell anyone because I know no one would believe me." Leopold continued.
"I believe you. Status doesn’t matter to people who wanted to hurt others. I, too, experienced that." Caden commented.
Alira knew that Caden was talking about his abduction when he was fifteen. A Crown Prince who was tortured and was left to die by the Trekker Clan.
"I won’t admit nor deny my involvement with Gregory Allen’s disappearance. I want all of you to stay out of this matter. I don’t want anyone to get hurt because of me. But I assure you, I will get to the bottom of this. And if justice needs to be served, then I will help you get it." Caden said in a firm tone.
Miguel sent all the photos and videos to Caden. He also gave the names of the students who were bullied by Gregory and his friends.
Caden took his phone and called someone.
"Did you call them?" She asked.
Caden nodded. "Yes."
He called Willow Green and sent the files to investigate. The men from the mafia were the best choice to do the job.
Before the start of second period, the principal called Caden. She wanted to come with him, but she wasn’t allowed.
"There will be a meeting with the school committee to investigate the truth about Gregory Allen’s disappearance." The principal announced.
"Are you allowed to do that? He’s the Crown Prince of the neighboring country." She asked.
"We are allowed. That’s in the agreement of every student’s book signed by you and your parents." The principal answered.
"I believe a guardian should be present. That’s the rule written in the book. I am his fiance and the Crown Princess, I will be his guardian. I won’t allow him to be alone with his fake grandfather. If you don’t allow it, I will have to use the power of Wilson Group and Hoseki." She exclaimed.
