Anton’s father left soon after to prepare for his departure towards New Drennor. Anders was going to join some of the other recruits in using the portals that came from Anton’s Town Portal Scrolls, which the Ormundan Wizards had set up somewhere inside Ormunda. According to Anders, once they arrived in New Drennor, they would be organized there.

Anders’s mercenaries did not sign up to fight the coalition, so Anton’s father just let them continue delving into dungeons with Anders’s vice-captains managing them. At least, the revenue from Anders’s mercenaries would continue.

According to Raymond, the family butler, the revenue from dungeon delving was considerable, and Anders’s men were satisfied with the cut that they received. Anton’s father never stopped them from leaving if they were not satisfied, and according to the information that Raymond had gathered, all of those who left regretted it.

Every adventurer already knew that Anders had a powerful artifact that allowed him and his men to gain strength at an extremely fast pace and that allowed them to delve into the deeper floors, gaining more considerable income. As a matter of fact, the butler told Anton that many applicants were trying to enter Anders’s mercenary teams, but Anton’s father was now extremely strict about who he accepted in his company. Those who left and wanted to return were never accepted back, since their loyalty had been found wanting.

Of course, there were malicious groups who tried to accost Anders to learn his secrets, but all of those who did were now six feet under. Everyone now knew that Anders was extremely powerful. Anton did not doubt that because he knew his father’s skills since they came from his Diablo system. The Paladin’s skills were truly powerful. The healing auras alone would make Anders seem like an immortal, and the fact that Anton had provided his father with powerful items allowed his father’s abilities to shine.

Anders’s now considerable powers were the main reason why Anton’s father was confident in joining the fight against the Undead Coalition. Anton knew that it would happen because he could not deny his father’s need for revenge. His father’s lovers and friends died at the hands of the coalition.

Anton’s father planned to leave the day after tomorrow, since Anders needed more time to prepare everything that needed to be attended to, like his mercenary groups, the family businesses, and Luna and Alfred.

Thankfully, the siblings were very busy and should be able to get past their worries about Anders’s situation. The people who were eyeing the family businesses with malicious intentions had stopped when the Ormunda’s wizard's protection was made known to everyone. Anton had underestimated the effect of that unassuming plaque that was given to them by the Ormundan wizards in return for supplying them with twenty town portal scrolls every month.

Alfred was busy with his schooling. At the very least, he was growing up with his peers since Anton advised his father that it was unhealthy for a kid to grow up alone, so Anders enrolled him in school.

Anton was not worried about Luna and Alfred because their old guardian, Normandy, was making sure that both children were doing fine and thriving. Normandy, who was fifty-nine years old, had become very healthy recently simply because Anders had shared with the old man the effects of Anton’s mana rain, so every time Anton cast the said spell, the old man, and those who knew the effects of the mana rain, which was practically everyone in the manor, would rush outside to be rained on. At the very least, they avoided the area in front of Anton’s bedroom to make sure they did not disturb him.

Basically, a rumor had started that if a person became the Rose Manor’s employee, he or she would become very healthy. Anton was surprised that it did not have too much impact because, apparently, everyone who was lucky enough to be employed under a powerful and caring wizard family would receive the same kind of advantage.

That was actually one of Anton’s many problems that he knew he should attend to. His lack of knowledge about the magic and wizardry of this world. He thought that his ignorance could be his downfall someday, but he thought that he would have the time to learn that information.

Raymond also reported the growth of Kirk, Abdul, Mesono, and Omar. They had reached the third level in their ranks. Anton thought that it was slow, but he forgot that the four young wizards had only been in the family for a short amount of time.

Once Anders left for New Drennor, Anton expected the four young wizards' growth to become faster than normal since Anton’s father planned to leave the Insight Spear with them. Anton asked why not leave the Runeword spear to his vice-captains. His father told him that the spear would be safer inside the manor since the family manor was under the protection of the wizards of Ormunda. Anders was not confident that his men would be able to defend the Insight spear from the people desperate enough to steal it if the knowledge spread that the reason for the extreme, fast growth of his men in power was because of the runeword weapon.

By evening, everyone in the family had learned that Anton was back. Sadly, they also learned that, like Anders, he would also join in the fight against the Undead Coalition. The impact was much less, though, because Anton had always been fighting the Undead Coalition, and the family had already expected that sooner or later, he would return to fighting the undead. Everyone in the manor knew the history of the family that was why they knew that there would never be peace between the coalition and the family.

They knew that Anton, Anders, and Luna were driven from their homeland by the undead. Their friends and all the family members who had been accepted by them were killed in the middle of the ocean by the undead as well. Luna and Alfred’s older sister, who had become Anders’s lover were also killed by the coalition’s attack. Bruce and Susan’s daughter, and Romina’s niece, who also had become Anders’s lovers, were also killed by the undead.

Romina told Anton that she would have to have an extensive meeting with him the next day, and he told Romina that Anders had already mentioned it. More than likely, Romina planned to get more movies from him to make sure that the cinema would have a stable supply of movies for years to come, even if something terrible happened to Anton.

Anton knew that maybe others would find it a bit cold-blooded, but he liked to think that the family would still truly thrive even if something happened to him.

Once he was done talking to Romina, Bruce, and Susan about the family businesses, he planned to visit Anna at her school. He needed to ask her teachers to allow Anna to delve into dungeons since leveling up her Sorceress class from Anton’s Diablo System could only be done by killing dungeon monsters. The power from the class would greatly assist Anna in whatever endeavor she planned to do in the future.
