Just like Steve said, the match was very much sealed and there was no bluff in those words as the match had now come to an end with the score line remaining Unique FC two, Young Boys nil.

The Swiss Super League side tried all they could, but they still weren't able to get a shot on target against their opponent which was proof of how defensively good the Bilbeth Premier League side had been in this match.

"This match isn't exactly something you would call a super entertaining match but it was a good one. I thought it was going to be a tough match for Norman's team given the fact that he excluded his main stars from the match but they managed to pull off a fine performance. Young Boys looked very poor from the beginning to the end, they need to work on themselves before the season kicks off." Steve articulated. "I think changing their goalkeepers was pointless as none of them got to face a direct shoot today, they had absolutely nothing to do."

"That brings us to the end of our coverage today, we'll have to start heading home now, good night to you all."

Minino was announced as the man of the match as expected, he really took charge of that right wing just like he said, and carved out a goal and an assist.

Besides that, he was also tearing up the defense from the right, his passes were mostly accurate and his crosses were good just that his teammates weren't able to put them to good use.

Dave was among the first players to head down the tunnel along with Mateo who didn't get to be part of the match because there was no reason to bring him on in a friendly match which they were already winning and dominating, that would be wickedness to Young Boys.

'Hey, Catherine, what's the point of showing me this when I got no exp?'

<Even if it doesn't pop up now, it will eventually pop up when my function is down at night and I can't keep it from popping up>

'I feel like you're trying to troll me here.'

<Why would I troll you, it's not like the shots were fired at you and you failed to stop them>

'I still feel offended by it.'

<I cannot apologize because it wasn't my doing>

'Of course, it wasn't.' He replied. 'But shouldn't I have gotten something for the clean sheet?'

<Yeah, you should have, if you had played the whole ninety minutes or at least eighty minutes>

'What are you talking about?'

<You only played forty-five minutes and didn't play any major role in keeping the clean sheet so the system doesn't see any need to reward you> She explained.

'Is that so?'

<Yes>

'But it counts as a clean sheet for me at least, right?'

<Why don't you check and see for yourself?>

[ Clean sheets: 03 ]

'That's good to see.'

"We have a free day tomorrow right?" The goalkeeper asked as he entered the locker room with Mateo and a few of his other teammates.

"Yeah," Mateo replied as he made his way to the seat over his designated locker. "It would be crazy to have three consecutive matches, a lot of players could get injured just like Merino and that's not something good for the team."

"Yeah," Dave said before sitting beside him.

"I'm just glad we managed to grab a second consecutive win, Minino's a pretty good right winger don't you think, Carlos?" Mateo said before turning his gaze to Carlos.

"Yeah," Carlos said with a nod. "But that's not the full context of it."

"Huh?"

"This match was very easy so he didn't get to feel the kind of pressure I feel when we play against big teams with defensive towers, we need to see that happen before we can fully conclude but I think he has what it takes to make the right-wing one of his good positions," Carlos explained.

"What about me? I was pretty good on the left wing, don't you think?" Fredinho said.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Fredinho, you weren't able to fit in there until the second half, you may have what it takes to develop under that role but you need a lot of work, you're a good striker but the left wing isn't your place yet." Mateo articulated.

"Mateo," Fredinho grumbled but the winger just smiled at him before he opened his locker and picked up his phone from where it was lying.

It didn't take long before the rest of the players, the coach, and the other staff got to the locker room and after changing out of their kits, they started heading back home.

They got back, freshened up, had something to eat, and just like yesterday, everyone went to bed early including Dave who decided to turn off his dream control feature just for the night.

The goalkeeper woke up before his roommate the next morning but after returning from the bathroom, he found him awake and waiting for him to come out so he could go in.

After brushing their teeth, the roommates were both lying on their beds now while waiting for their breakfast to arrive.

"Hey, Mateo," Dave called before sitting up on his bed.

"Huh?" The winger said before turning his gaze to him.

"Do you mind going for a stroll outside?"

"A stroll, sure." He said before sitting up on his bed. "As long as it's not the same places we visited last time."

"Sure, we can check out new places." The goalkeeper replied.

"And maybe we can find a shop around the area that sells sports equipment." The winger said.

"Sports equipment? Why?"

"Uh…I sort of lost my shin guards last night."

"Both of them?"

"Yeah."

"That's quite a bummer but now that you've mentioned it, I also need new gloves, these ones are starting to become loose and I didn't come with my new ones."

"Okay, so, we go check out new places and then find a shop to buy a pair of shin guards and a pair of gloves before leaving," Mateo said.

"Yeah," Dave said with a nod.

"Let's go then." The winger said before quickly getting up from his bed.

He quickly slid his leg into his sneakers and made for the door.

He had almost run into the lady who was bringing them their food and was just about to knock on the door.

She was quite startled and if Mateo had not held onto the frame to stop himself, something bad would have happened. 𝑓𝑟eℯ𝒘𝗲𝑏n𝑜𝚟𝙚𝒍.𝒄o𝐦

"Sorry." The winger said with a nervous smile on his face.

"Um…I think we should have breakfast first, Mateo." Dave said with his hand at the back of his head.

<I told you to wait and have breakfast first but you didn't listen and look what almost happened>

'You don't have to be loud about it.'
