Dave and Emma were sitting on the bench outside when the doctor opened the door and walked out with a small file in his hand.

"What's the result, doctor?" Dave got up from the seat to ask. π—³π˜³πžeπ™¬π™šπš‹π—»πš˜πšŸπ—²l.π‘π‘œο½

The doctor turned his gaze to Emma and turned it back to Dave before handing him the results of the test.

"Congratulations, Mr. Dave, your wife's been pregnant for a while, she's three weeks gone." The doctor said,

"Three weeks?"

As soon as Emma heard those words, she covered her face with both of her hands before putting her face down.

"Hey," Dave said before he slowly sat down beside her and wrapped his arms around her. "Why are you crying?"

"I'm not crying, I'm smiling." She said before turning to him to reveal the warm smile on her face but her face was also covered with tears.

"I included a lot of things you should do and avoid and also dietary habits you should follow in that file, since this is your first time, it will come in handy."

"Thank you, doc," Dave said.

"You're welcome." The doctor replied. "I have other matters to attend to, goodbye."

After watching the doctor leave, the goalkeeper turned his gaze back to his wife and helped her clean her tears.

"You knew about it, that's why you did all those things this morning and suggested that we come here this evening." She said as soon as they got to the car.

"Well, at first I had no clue of what was going on with you but then I made a google search according to what I noticed from you and got that answer which has been confirmed right now." The goalkeeper explained.

She stared at him for a while before quickly wrapping her arms around him, pushing him against the car in the process.

"I'm going to be a mother." She said,

"Things are moving so fast, I'm going to be a father soon," Dave said. "I just hope it's a beautiful girl."

"No, it's definitely going to be a boy," Emma said.

With everything confirmed now, Dave was more eager to help out his wife and make things a lot easier for her.

He had officially taken over the role of making breakfast and helping her get ready for work, it was going to be hard to take care of lunch and dinner too now that the season was about to kick off in earnest but he was trying to think of something.

<If I had to say, I would say that this is the worst time for her to get pregnant>

'It doesn't matter because there is no perfect time, the pregnancy still covers roughly nine months so no matter whenever she gets pregnant, it's still going to affect me somehow.' The goalkeeper replied.

He was in his car now heading to the Wondanimo stadium.

The match was set to kick off by 2:30 PM so all the players were expected to be at the Wondanimo stadium by 12:30 PM latest so that they could start heading to the Supreme stadium in Supreme city for the match.

Dave was one of the first players to arrive at the stadium but it didn't take long before the other players got there.

Norman briefed them on the tactics and the players who were going to be starting and by 1:00 PM, the players were already on their way to Supreme City.

"Hey, I couldn't help but notice that you've been smiling quite a lot since we arrived at the stadium, what's up? Are you having a good feeling about the match?" Mateo asked.

"Yeah, I'm having a good feeling about the match but that's not it." The goalkeeper replied.

"Oh, then what is?"

"Nothing out of the ordinary, it's just that we'll be welcoming a new member of the household in a couple." He replied.

"New member of the household in a couple of months." Mateo ran through the words again. "Wait, do you mean that Emma's pregnant?"

Dave only responded with a nod.

"That's awesome." The winger said with an elated voice. "I can't believe I spoke to Emma this morning and she didn't tell me a thing about it."

"I heard her telling your parents about it, maybe she expected me to tell you about it," Dave said.

"Yeah, I guess so." The winger said. "So, now I'm going to be an uncle."

"Yeah."

Supreme city wasn't that far from Unique City so it took them only thirty-two minutes to get to the Supreme stadium.

The supreme stadium was the second largest stadium in the Bilbeth premier league after the grand strike stadium that belonged to Dynamo FC.

The players were welcomed warmly by their fans in the area and after entering the building, they were taken to the locker room where they would be doing their changing.

The players quickly changed into their training outfits before making their way to the pitch for the pre-match warm-up.

As expected, Supreme United players were already there putting on their red training outfits.

'There they are, we have to win this match but it's not going to be easy.'

[ Ball magnet: level 03 ]

[ Tries: 09 ]

[ Cooldown time: 28 minutes ]

'I now have nine tries before the cooldown, and the cooldown has now been shortened by two minutes, this will help in this match.'

<Don't forget, your shot-stopping attribute has leveled up too>

'I know, but I'll have to wait for the match to kick off to test that one out.'

<Yeah, I'm just reminding you to test it out when the match starts>

[ Double jump ]

[ Double stamina ]

[ Focus ]

'I can't believe I have all these skills and can't properly use any of them.' He said subconsciously. 'Double jump is too obvious to the eye, double stamina makes my stamina drop faster after boosting it and then focus causes a lot of pain.'

<Yeah, but the more you level them up, the better they get and the less effective those risks become>

'The fastest way for me to level up a skill is by using them constantly and the only skill I can use constantly is Ball magnet.'

<That's true but you're receiving skill upgrade points now, you can use them to level up those skills and get them to the level that those risks will be less effective on you>

'And what level will that be?'

<Level five at least>

'That's going to be hard if I don't receive a good amount of skill upgrade points soon.' He replied.

<There's no rush, just pick the skill you think you will be needing more often and start upgrading it with your skill upgrade points, keep upgrading it slowly till it gets to level five, and then you can pick another skill>

'That sounds like it's going to be long, but that's not a problem, I can hold my ground well with the ones I can use at the moment.' He said subconsciously before he began to make his way to the goalpost.
