My Love Debts Are Everywhere!-Chapter 687: The Amazing Treasure Room - Part 1
Three hours later...
"Huft! I'm so tired, Young Master."
Elina lay sprawled on the ground, her breath caught in her throat. Her round face was pale, and sweat had soaked through her clothes.
They had been climbing Mount Durnhak for three hours, yet the summit was still nowhere in sight.
She began to wonder—had Leon gotten lost? But that seemed impossible, especially since he had used the Eye of Chaos to confirm their route.
If not, then why hadn't they arrived yet?
Beside her, Leon chuckled softly and shook his head, clearly amused by her complaints.
He crouched down and gently poked Elina's chubby cheek with his finger.
"Already thinking of giving up? Weren't you the one who said you wanted your name written in history as my companion on this legendary journey?"
Elina opened her eyes and shot him an irritated glare. She sat up, crossed her arms, and muttered, "I'm not giving up! I'm just really tired."
She let out a soft sigh and looked at Leon with pleading eyes.
"Young Master, how about we rest for a bit first? Then we can keep going."
But Leon shook his head. "No, that wouldn't be wise. This place is strange and dangerous. There are many monsters here—including those two giant trolls we ran into earlier."
"If we stop now, we'll only slow ourselves down. We might not reach the summit until nightfall, and that's far from ideal."
Leon could have easily defeated those monsters with his powers. But he hadn't—because there was no need.
More importantly, he wanted to train Elina's mindset, to teach her not to underestimate the dangers lurking around them.
If they ever got separated again like before, at least this girl would be able to survive until he found her.
Seeing Leon's determination, Elina finally relented. She didn't want him to see her as a burden.
It would only hurt her—and might even shatter her dream of having her name remembered in history.
Gritting her teeth, Elina rose to her feet and pointed forward.
"Come on, let's keep going!"
Leon smiled. Then, without warning, he scooped Elina into his arms like a princess, leaving her stunned.
Before she could protest, Leon winked and said, "I'm not that cruel."
Tears welled up in Elina's eyes. She wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered, "I know… You could never be that cruel."
Leon simply shook his head at her dramatic reaction.
Without another word, holy power surged from his body—and in the blink of an eye, they vanished from that place.

Mount Durnhak was an active volcano, but it hadn't erupted since its last explosion thousands of years ago.
Its peak was a massive crater, with hot lava constantly churning at its center.
The sight alone was enough to make anyone shudder in fear.
"Young Master, are you sure the Dwarven Race actually lives in a place like this? Isn't that a bit absurd?" Elina asked, surprised.
At the same time, she glanced at the bubbling lava below, her eyes filled with curiosity and wonder.
In her entire life, she had never climbed a mountain before. This was her first experience.
And as it turned out, the mountain was beautiful—yet terrifying.
The view of the lava below matched exactly what she had read about in books.
Walking beside her, Leon unfolded the map and studied it carefully.
"To be honest, I'm a bit skeptical too," he admitted, then closed the map and handed it to Elina.
He looked out over the vast landscape before them—a sweeping expanse of jagged rock and drifting clouds that formed a surreal, haunting panorama.
"With the summit of Mount Durnhak being an active crater, it does seem impossible for any living creature—let alone an entire race—to survive here."
"But despite that, the Dwarven Race's presence here is a confirmed fact. The information came directly from the Dragon Ancestor and the First Elder."
Elina fell silent, rubbing her chin thoughtfully. "In that case… can you track their exact location?"
"Wait a moment."
Leon quickly pulled out a black token from his pocket—a tool created by Demon Emperor Amon Crimson and Hero Luminus Troya to control hidden races that dared to rebel against them.
Since receiving it from Athena, he had never once used it.
Interestingly, the token was capable of detecting hidden races within a one-kilometer radius.
Closing his eyes, Leon activated the token.
*Buzz!*
It glowed with a bright purple light, and in Leon's mind, a glowing thread appeared from thin air.
The thread slithered like a snake and shot off into the distance. Moments later, the purple light faded, and Leon slowly opened his eyes.
A faint smile played on his lips as he turned to Elina and said, "I know where it is. Let's go."
"Good!" Elina nodded eagerly.
The two of them headed in the direction the purple thread had pointed to.
Fortunately, it wasn't too far, so Leon didn't need to carry Elina or use his holy power.
Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the spot indicated by the thread.
But there was nothing there—only a barren wasteland, covered in volcanic ash.
Elina looked around in confusion and asked, "Young Master, are you sure this is the place?"
Leon gave a small nod. "Of course. This is exactly where it pointed. Now step back—I'm going to destroy this place."
Elina looked confused by his words but didn't press for an explanation. She simply nodded and stepped aside.
As soon as she moved, Leon clenched his right fist. A bright white light flared from his palm as he struck the volcanic ash-covered ground in front of him.
*Boom!*
A powerful explosion erupted, instantly creating a five-meter-deep crater.
But Leon didn't stop there—he kept pounding the ground with full force.
*Boom!*
*Boom!*
Each blow landed like a hammer from the heavens, shaking the earth and sending dust flying.
Strike after strike deepened and widened the pit.
What began as a five-meter hole soon expanded to forty meters deep and ten meters wide.
Eventually, Leon's figure vanished into the depths of the pit, while Elina stood frozen, watching from a distance in awe.
"Elina, come here—I found the way!" Leon's voice echoed from below, snapping her out of her daze.
She rushed over to the edge and peered inside, eyes wide with hesitation.
"How do I get down? Do I… jump?" She asked, unsure.
"Yes," Leon replied calmly. "Just jump. I'll catch you."
Elina nodded slowly, then jumped down. Before she could hit the ground, Leon caught her and helped her to her feet.
She let out a quiet sigh of relief once she felt safe—but her eyes were immediately drawn to the massive structure before her, and she froze in surprise.
"Is this... a gate?" she asked softly, reaching out to touch its surface.
It was indeed a gate—or rather, a five-meter-high iron door etched with ancient carvings she didn't recognize.
"This must be the entrance to where the Dwarven Race lives. Let's go."
Without a moment's hesitation, Leon clenched his fist and struck the metal door with a single, powerful blow.
It shattered instantly, revealing what lay beyond. The sight before them made them freeze.
"Is this... a treasure room?"
