After these explanations, everyone nodded, and finally, Kevin changed the map to one that represented the basement of the palace. He tapped on a specific place on the map, telling them, "The Queen’s sister is being held here, and we absolutely must free them both at the same time."

Kevin then decided to explain his plan in more detail, "The frontal attack on the palace will be our first assault; then we will quickly follow up with attacks on the four strategic places that must be hit one after the other to destabilize, disorganize, and divide them. We will then take advantage of the chaos that will reign in the palace to rescue the Queen and her sister."

He tapped on the map again and said, "Caleb will be the one in charge of freeing the Queen’s sister, and he will be accompanied by Kelan, Axel, and the men he personally trained. In addition, we will be assisted by specialists in energy signatures. Lucas, whom Mykael has gone to find, will stay with those on the frontal attack to warn you if there are Titans among the King’s soldiers, and Malo will stay with Caleb."

Kevin had discussed this with Caleb, and he couldn’t rule out the fact that the Queen’s sister could have been killed and replaced by a chameleon to spy on them once the human territory was liberated.

Elias had agreed to lend him Malo and Iris, and he had told him not to hesitate if he needed more men. But Kevin had told him that he wanted to use the humans and demons of this world first and foremost because this was their battle, and it would only make sense if they could win it together.

The fact that the demons were involved in freeing the Queen would help their two races make peace, and as for him, the fact that he was accompanied by powerful fighters and mages would give him the legitimacy to take over the territory of the humans.

Just with the organization, he could see that there were tensions among the humans, and he absolutely had to prove to them that the new government after the King’s reign would be just as powerful; otherwise, some of them could try to take advantage and seize power.

Fortunately, none of these factions, including the shapeshifters under the orders of this Raven or the Moon Sect and the Sky Sect, would be powerful enough to represent a threat to them. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

But to avoid unnecessary human losses, he had to be firm from the beginning. He had wanted to let the Queen reign in his place because he really wasn’t interested in being King, but that could be interpreted as a weakness on his part, and so, just like Ian, he had to take responsibility for this mark on his body and wait until the situation was stabilized.

Kevin finally told them, "We will all be equipped with communication stones, so if any of you have a problem, contact me immediately, and I will send reinforcements."

Everyone nodded again, and a golden portal opened in the room where they were, and Mykael, Colin, and Lucas came out of it, accompanied by five other men.

Kevin then walked towards them, still not believing his eyes, and he said, looking at one man in particular, "Mathias, what the hell are you doing here?"

Mathias looked him up and down, as did the other four men, but it was obvious to all that Mathias was the leader of this group.

He then asked Kevin, "I was told that our King of Shadows was not dead and that he was still fighting against some bastards. We came to help... But I will only obey him, so what is my code name, my service number, and the last mission you gave me?"

Kevin smirked and said to him, "Your code name is Shadow 01, your service number is 0320SD01; the last mission I gave you was to take my place at the head of the organization and continue to train assassins to protect the population."

But Kevin didn’t stop there; he continued, looking at the other men, "Brice, code name Shadow 09, service number 0522SD09. Anthony, code name Shadow 16, service number 0923SD16. Theo, code name Shadow 17, service number 1023SD17. Mason, code name Shadow 23, service number 0425SD23. The last mission I have entrusted to all of you and to all my other shadows is to follow Shadow 01’s orders and continue to protect the population at all costs."

Mathias then made a military salute, followed by the other four men, and he said to him, "Shadow 01, 09, 16, 17, and 23 ready to follow your orders."

Kevin then said to them, "At ease, soldiers. You are welcome !"

He then asked Mathias, "I assume you made the necessary arrangements before coming here."

Mathias immediately replied, "Of course, everything is under control. Don’t worry, how can we help you?"

Kevin then looked at their stats, and he was not disappointed. Mathias had a level of 155, and the others all had levels between 120 and 140, which was more than reasonable. He then said to them, "Come, let me introduce you to everyone. Mathias and Brice, you will stay with me; the others will be under Kerry’s command."

Kevin took the time to introduce everyone to them, and when he got to Axel and introduced him as his husband, Mathias and the others, who had managed to remain stoic when he introduced them to demons—even one who could turn into a dragon, and a human who could change into a wolf—couldn’t hide their astonishment, and Brice even repeated just to make sure he had heard right, "Your husband? You have... a husband... you?"

Mathias then smacked him on the back of the head and said to Kevin, "You can go on, boss; don’t mind him."

Kevin smirked, and then he quickly explained the situation of this world and the different purposes of this attack.
