My Milf Harem Conquest System In A Women's World-Chapter 31: Family Bonding [II]
Jason reclined against the couch, feigning indifference while Regina clasped her hands like a mischievous host presiding over a talk show.
"Alright," she began with deliberate seriousness. "We shall keep this civilized and dignified. No humiliating questions or absurd dares that would make Grandma faint upon hearing them."
Catherine appeared entertained.
"I appreciate the restraint. Last time you persuaded your cousin to dance atop the table."
Regina lifted her chin with theatrical pride.
"That was performance art, not embarrassment or anything of that nature." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
Jason cast her a flat look, recalling the incident.
"That was pandemonium, and it nearly shattered a lamp."
It had occurred when she was very young and her cousin had come to visit, though the recollection was faint in his mind.
Daisy laughed softly.
"Let her begin. We can decide how to deal with her after her first choice."
"Fine," Regina said, surveying the group. "Grandma, truth or dare?"
Marinette folded her arms and smiled faintly.
"Truth. I trust you only marginally more than Jason."
Regina paused thoughtfully, then asked with genuine curiosity,
"Who was your first crush?"
The woman chuckled gently, shaking her head.
"You are persistent."
"It is merely a question," Regina replied with a semblance of innocence that deceived no one.
Marinette contemplated for a moment, glancing briefly toward Catherine and Daisy before responding.
"There was a musician who used to perform in the city square every weekend. He always smiled whenever I passed by, and I developed a slight fondness for him, though it was nothing serious."
Jason nodded pensively.
"A musician, then. The sentimental kind."
Marinette smiled.
"...At least he was better than most."
Catherine gestured toward Regina.
"Now it is your turn to answer. Truth or dare?"
"Truth," Regina said instantly, though her confidence faltered slightly when Catherine smiled in that calm, perceptive way she always did.
"Whom do you admire most in this house?" Catherine asked softly.
The girl blinked, surprised. Her fingers tapped her knee before she finally responded.
"I guess... Jason, maybe."
Jason raised his eyebrows as he looked at her.
"That sounded so forced I almost believe it."
Regina made a face.
"I mean it. You’re annoying, but you’re smart, and you don’t give up easily. Also, you don’t get mad when I tease you."
Catherine, who had asked the question, frowned slightly, then turned to Daisy, who smiled and said:
"That’s probably the nicest thing anyone’s said to him this month."
Jason sighed dramatically.
"I’m surrounded by comedians."
Marinette handed the turn back.
"Your move, Jason. Pick your victim."
He thought for a moment, then looked at Daisy with a challenging look.
"Truth or dare?"
"Truth," she answered immediately, crossing her legs and meeting his gaze without hesitation.
Jason smirked slightly.
"What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done to someone without them knowing?"
Daisy laughed softly, as if she had been expecting that question.
"When I was younger, I swapped the sugar in Catherine’s tea with salt because she reported me to mom for sneaking out."
Catherine slowly turned her head toward her.
"So that was you."
Daisy covered her mouth, trying not to laugh too loudly.
"I thought you already knew."
Catherine shook her head, pretending to be offended.
"I blamed Angela for that for a whole week because she’s the only one capable of something like that."
The young man grimaced. There was a lot the family didn’t know Daisy was capable of, and only he had seen a hint of it earlier in the beach’s resting room. Right now, he wasn’t sure what she was planning next since she hadn’t revisited the situation since they returned.
But honestly, he wasn’t planning to wait for her to make a move because time was running out and he still had one more person to deal with...
Jason’s eyes slowly drifted toward Marinette, taking in her ample chest, which made him a bit aroused as he stared carefully so no one would notice.
Marinette placed a hand on her chest, laughing.
"I told you it wasn’t me, but you insisted it was revenge for something else."

The room was filled with the warmth of shared laughter, naturally bringing them closer together. Even Daisy, who had been maintaining her composure due to her focus, appeared genuinely at ease, her smile reaching her eyes.
After several more rounds of harmless questions and a few silly dares, Catherine announced the end of the game.
"That’s enough silliness for one afternoon," she said, though the slight smile on her lips revealed her amusement.
Regina flopped sideways onto the couch, stretching lazily.
"Alright, but that was fun. We should do this more often."
Jason leaned forward to collect the empty cups.
"We should, as long as no one gets salt in their drink next time."
For that, Catherine gave him a playful glare while Daisy stifled a laugh behind her hand. Marinette began neatly stacking the coasters.
Once the room settled into a calmer pace, Catherine settled into her chair and looked at Jason with quiet curiosity.
"You seem distracted lately. Is something bothering you?"
He hesitated before giving a vague answer about what was troubling him.
"A little, yes. I’ve been reading some documents, preparing for something that might happen soon. Nothing definite yet."
Daisy studied him carefully.
"Hmm."
Marinette tilted her head slightly.
"Oh. So, do you plan to travel again to that city?"
He thought for a moment, then shook his head.
"Not yet. I have enough to deal with here."
The conversation slowed but remained easygoing. Catherine talked about the garden she wanted to redesign before winter, and Daisy added suggestions about plants that could survive the cold, while Marinette offered to help organize the layout, and Regina contributed ideas that didn’t make much sense but still brought laughter.
Jason listened quietly, occasionally making a comment or joke that kept the mood light.
Later, as the sun began to dip below the horizon, Catherine stood to prepare tea for herself while Daisy went to retrieve something from her room. In the ensuing quiet, Marinette checked a few emails on her tablet.
Additionally, Catherine was the first to head upstairs, tea in hand, quietly mentioning a warm bath, and Marinette followed, offering a courteous goodnight.
Daisy stayed behind for a bit, speaking quietly with Jason about the errands they had to do the next day. When Regina fell asleep during their conversation, Daisy’s expression shifted, and with a sly smile, she whispered happily:
"Jason, do me a favor and come to my room..."
