My Milf Harem Conquest System In A Women's World-Chapter 40: Outfit Selection For Marinette.. Hm.
When he entered his stepmother’s room, he noticed it was much larger than any other in the house and featured an Alaskan bed with an exquisitely crafted mahogany frame that looked very regal. The spacious room had only one window, which could easily be compared to one in a queen’s chamber. This window was a huge square, allowing sunlight to pour in and softly illuminate the room, making it unnecessary to turn on any other lights at that time of day.
Despite the luxurious decor, the bedroom was impeccably tidy. On one side stood a wardrobe that appeared somewhat larger than he had expected. She approached it with Jason following quietly behind her, closing the door gently while still amazed that such a room belonged to her. Well, she certainly deserved it, especially considering her status as a famous actress, so she undoubtedly had enough money to decorate her room exactly as she wished.
Honestly, after seeing this, he thought about decorating his own room in a similar style. Although he didn’t have as much space, his room was still effectively larger than his entire apartment in his previous life, so he could manage.
He shrugged and fixed his gaze on the woman in front of him. Naturally, Jason found himself staring at her backside, which looked even more appealing because she was wearing pink lingerie that did little to conceal her skin. He could faintly make out her black, seductive panties beneath it, and he struggled to resist the urge to be intimate with his stepmother right then, even without making a move.
However, he quickly reminded himself to follow the three steps he had planned. When she opened the wardrobe, a bright light shone directly onto his face, forcing him to shield his eyes slightly, since they had adjusted to the dim lighting in the room.
It took a few seconds for his eyes to get used to the light coming from inside the wardrobe.
’What the hell is that? Heaven inside a wardrobe...? Or is this the first Chapter description of Wuthering White Garden?’ Jason wondered, comparing the light to a scene from the web novel he had started reading eight days ago during his free time, which seemed quite fitting for his attention.
When he finally looked inside, Jason was stunned. The wardrobe extended much farther than he had expected, forming a narrow room lined with shelves and hanging rails, with every piece of clothing neatly organized by type and color.
In fact, nothing seemed out of place...
He stepped closer and scanned the rows. Below the hanging clothes, several drawers were built into the wall, filled with folded garments and carefully stacked small boxes.
On the opposite side, a single glass shelf displayed jewelry cases and watches arranged side by side.
At the end of the narrow space stood a tall mirror next to a small stool. The mirror clearly reflected the entire layout, showing the same sense of order that characterized the rest of the room.
Jason looked around once more before stepping back.
’Oh my God! What is this heavenly space?’ Jason gasped, somewhat confused, wondering if he had somehow been led into another house.
Soon, while still admiring him and almost forgetting her main purpose, Marinette refocused his attention on why she had called him over. Essentially, she wanted his help picking out an outfit for an event she would attend the next day. Although she was quite knowledgeable about fashion, she couldn’t decide on the right look this time.
Jason quickly turned his gaze to her. Everything she had said before had barely registered with him, let alone been processed by his mind.
Noticing he hadn’t fully caught her initial point, she gestured toward the neatly arranged clothes.
"I need your help choosing an outfit for tomorrow," she said firmly, her eyes searching his. "I just can’t decide which combination will work best for the event."
Jason tilted his head slightly, studying her expression.
"What kind of event is it exactly?" he asked calmly, trying to understand the reason behind her request.
Marinette paused briefly before answering.
"It’s an annual fashion event where designers showcase their latest collections. I want to attend because attendees evaluate trends and everyone gets a sense of the current direction. I have a general idea, but I can’t pick a single outfit that strikes the right balance between elegance, modernity, and confidence."
Jason nodded slowly, glancing at the wardrobe.
"So you want me to choose because you’re unsure about the combinations?" he asked, focusing on logical reasoning rather than personal taste.
She smiled softly.
"Yes. I’ve noticed your style lately has completely changed. Everything you pick now seems to fit perfectly with any trend, no matter what’s new. I don’t understand how this happened. Before, your fashion sense was very rigid and you stuck to one style only. You couldn’t adapt to anything new, but now your judgment is trustworthy."
Jason allowed himself a slight smirk as he recalled the troubles he had faced, though inwardly he was clearly frustrated. The previous version of Jason had really brought a lot of embarrassment to this attractive body... such a waste of beauty and physique.
"Ugh."
He turned back to her.
"So, you’re saying my current fashion sense is reliable enough to make decisions for you?" he asked flatly, deliberately controlling his expression.
Marinette nodded.
"I’m confident it will lead to the perfect outcome. Your choices now naturally combine proportion, shape, and balance. I’m placing my full trust in your ability, Jason."
He methodically went through the wardrobe, pulling out dresses, skirts, blouses, and jackets, then they returned to the bedroom where he spread the items across the bed. He began assessing each piece for compatibility and visual harmony, making sure no combination looked forced.
Crossing his arms, he said in a voice devoid of emotion:
"I’ll help you, but I need to know if you want to look striking or to convey subtle confidence."
Marinette hesitated before replying.
"I want to appear confident without drawing too much attention, mainly because I don’t want to be on every media front page for coming back after retirement. The outfit should express elegance and modernity, I suppose. I can’t achieve that without guidance, and I believe your judgment will create the right impression... Hmm?"
Jason picked out two dresses and a blouse with a matching skirt, placing them within her easy reach.
"Try these first," he said calmly. "The colors complement your natural tones, and I think the overall look should feel composed and intentional."
She stepped back into the dressing room and quickly changed into a cream-colored dress with a slim belt around the waist. When she came outside, Jason examined how the fabric draped over her figure and how the design maintained its shape while allowing for movement, though he was more captivated by how it accentuated her alluring silhouette.
"This dress works, but the effect is... well, subtle. Those boots over there will complete the look."
Marinette took his advice and slipped on the boots. She looked at herself in the mirror.
"Does this combination work?" she asked, turning slightly to see her reflection from different angles.
Jason studied her.
"Yes, Mum. The contrast enhances both confidence and elegance at the same time. People will notice your poise without questioning your style, and the overall impression should be quite good."
Next, she changed into a blouse and skirt, and Jason made small adjustments to the sleeves and shoulder lines.
"The skirt is the perfect length, and the blouse draws attention just as you want."
Marinette spun slowly, testing how she moved.
"This feels more structured than the dress, but it still conveys elegance," she said thoughtfully, beginning to wonder if Jason had secretly earned a second degree in fashion design without them knowing.
But the truth was... this was all from a past life experience. As mentioned before, he was knowledgeable about fashion and related subjects but lacked the funds to pursue it, and the same applied to his business knowledge. Fortunately for him, this body had a particular skill that complemented his business expertise.
Jason carefully observed her... uh... hips and chest?
Or rather, her posture and alignment.
"Well, both options are valid. Choose the one that best communicates the impression you want to give others."
Her eyes flickered between the two outfits before finally resting on the cream-colored dress and boots. A smile spread across her face.
"I’ll go with this one. It’s stunning. Your advice really perfected the whole look."
Jason returned the smile.
"Then the choice is made. Keep the accessories simple; a bracelet and some understated earrings will complement the outfit without drawing too much attention."
Marinette looked intrigued.
"I don’t understand how you developed such sharp taste. You used to only pick one style, but now every decision seems deliberate and effortless. How did that happen?"
Jason gave a slight shrug, maintaining his composure.
"I have nothing to say, Mum."
Inwardly, he thought:
’Obviously, the body needed a new owner, not some idiot who embarrassed his own preferences. Damn it!’
Marinette clapped her hands softly, clearly pleased.
"This is perfect. I feel confident knowing my look is intentional and precise. Oh, my little Jason boy, you’ve really grown."
He stayed silent, letting her satisfaction speak for itself.
Marinette examined herself again, carefully adjusting the belt.
"I’m completely happy with this. Will you come to the event with me?"
Jason considered the question, thinking about social expectations.
"I’m not sure. Besides, I didn’t even know about it until now, so probably not."
Marinette smiled with mild amusement.
"Very well, dear."
Jason nodded and carefully arranged the remaining clothes, placing them neatly in the wardrobe. He ensured the garments stayed organized and easy to access, keeping the display tidy for any quick adjustments.
Marinette took one last look at the dress.
"I have one more question. Do you drink alcohol?" she asked, her tone curious and slightly amused. "You’ve always declined before, but will you make an exception tonight?"
Jason thought about her question, a particular reason briefly coming to mind. He usually didn’t drink, but if having some now could help with his plans, why not?
The real urgency was clear: he didn’t have much time.
"I can handle it," he replied calmly, aware that everyone assumed he simply didn’t like alcohol. Well, that was true, but things change. Still, would they start to get suspicious if the change became too noticeable?
Of course, he had ways to manage that, but for now, he just needed to minimize the changes he was showing. It wasn’t his fault, and he couldn’t be expected to act exactly like the previous occupant; differences were inevitable. So, he had to maintain the traits, preferences, and dislikes everyone knew him for.
Luckily, alcohol wasn’t one of those.
Marinette’s eyes sparkled with satisfaction.
"Alright then. Let’s get the whiskey!"
