My Milf System-Chapter 366
I walked down the hallway leading to the elevator, my steps steady even if my thoughts weren’t.
When I reached it, I slid the door open and stepped inside, pressing for the upper floors as the doors closed behind me.
I drew in a quiet breath, trying to steady myself. I still couldn’t quite believe it—I was about to meet the CEO of Brisco.
My brother... Akira.
Getting this far had already been a mess.
When I first walked in and applied for the job, the secretary had asked for my ID. I told her I didn’t have one. Then came the questions about my academic background, certificates, all the usual nonsense that proved I was... someone. Same answer. Nothing.
And when she asked where I came from, I told her the truth—or at least the only truth I had. I didn’t know. My memory was gone.
That’s when the room turned into a joke.
Some laughed outright. Others didn’t even try to hide it, throwing names at me like I was some kind of street performance.
Weirdo. Freak. Lost case. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
In the end, the situation slipped out of the secretary’s hands. I guess I’d been a bit too stubborn about needing that job, because she called the CEO himself.
And to everyone’s surprise... Akira told them to send me up.
The elevator chimed softly as it reached the floor, the doors sliding open. I stepped out and immediately spotted the office ahead, his nameplate fixed neatly on the door.
I knocked.
"Come in..." his voice called from inside.
I pushed the door open, and for a moment, my chest tightened. My heart was racing—not from fear, but something warmer. I never thought I’d see him again.
And yet... here he was.
Akira sat behind a desk cluttered with paperwork, leaning back in his chair. Dark circles hung under his eyes, deep enough to make it obvious he hadn’t been sleeping right.
Had he really been pushing himself that hard?
For a man running a company this big, I’d expected a bit more... life in him. But aside from the exhaustion, he hadn’t changed much. Still bald, still that sharp presence, the short beard on his chin, streaked with white.
Looking at him felt strange—like staring at a version of myself from another time.
"Take a seat," he said, snapping me out of it. I hadn’t even realized how long I’d been staring.
"Thank you." I sat down across from him
He leaned forward, resting his chin on his hands, eyes scanning me like he was peeling me apart layer by layer.
"So... you’re the guy with no identity or whatever?"
I nodded.
"And you need a job?"
"Desperately, sir..."
A smirk tugged at his lips. "Good. You’re exactly the kind of guy I need." He leaned back slightly. "I’ll assign you as a security guard for the company dormitory."
That sounded simple enough.
"But..." His voice dropped just a little, enough to shift the tone completely. "That’s only on the surface. Your real job is something else. I want you to act as my spy."
A spy?
On his own employees?
"...Alright," I said carefully. "What exactly am I spying on?"
"There are hidden cameras throughout most of the dormitory," he said plainly, like he was talking about installing light fixtures. "Even in some rooms. The workers don’t know, of course." His eyes narrowed slightly. "I want you to monitor Senior Director Karen. Report anything suspicious. Everything. And you’ll be paid very well."
Yeah...
There it was. I knew something smelled off.
Akira wasn’t the kind of man to suddenly play nice with someone he didn’t trust from the very beginning—especially not someone like Karen. Giving her that kind of position? Yeah, no way. There was something underneath all that.
Still... I couldn’t deny it: this job fit too perfectly.
Almost like it had been waiting for me.
I stood and extended my hand. "I’ll take it, sir. I won’t disappoint you."
He shook it firmly, then reached for a small briefcase and set it on the table. "Your quarters’ keys are in there," he said. "There’s also a small library in your room. Push the book Fifty Shades of Grey inward, and the shelf will open. Behind it is the monitoring room. That’s where you’ll be spending most of your time."
Hidden doors behind cliché novels. Subtle.
"I understand."
After a few final words, I took the briefcase and stepped out, unable to hide the small smile tugging at my face.
By the time I got back down to the lower floors, I headed straight for the secretary’s desk.
"Can you show me to the company dormitory?" I asked.
She didn’t even look at me.
Too busy painting her nails, casually brushing polish over them like I didn’t exist.
"I’m still busy... wait a minute," she muttered, chewing her gum loudly like it was part of the job description.
Now that I actually looked at her properly... yeah. Definitely the arrogant type.
Pink gloss on her lips, a tight top that clung to her curves like it had a personal mission, and a short grey skirt that showed off long, smooth legs without any shame. Her ginger-tinted short hair gave her a sharp, almost flashy look.
She was pretty. But the attitude ruined it
While she dragged her time, my eyes wandered across the office. Rows of desks, people glued to their screens, glass-walled rooms lining the sides. Maybe a dozen workers in total.
And then I saw her. Inside one of those glass rooms, a woman stood with her back turned, completely focused on whatever she was doing. Her dark hair fell neatly over her shoulders, catching the light just enough to stand out.
Yeah... no mistake. That must be Karen, alright.
"Follow me, CV-less brat!"
The secretary’s voice snapped me right out of it.
I frowned slightly at the nickname but said nothing, following her as she walked off.
And, well... I wasn’t blind.
My eyes drifted to her asserts for a second. The way she walked, swaying her hips didn’t help either.
She was hot, and had the looks, no doubt. If her personality wasn’t so rotten, she might’ve actually been worth something.
"Tsk... don’t stare at my ass, you lowlife!" she snapped, not even turning around. "It’s disgusting."
"I... I’m sorry," I muttered, even as irritation burned under my skin.
Women here were something else.
Back in Eldoria, strength came first. Survival shaped you. But here? Peace had made them soft... and somehow arrogant at the same time.
Lucky for this bitchy secretary, I wasn’t in a position to indulge myself, lacking in pleasure points and all.
Otherwise... she’d have learned exactly who she was talking to.
To be continued...
