My Perfect Revenge: Flash Marriage With My Vampire Tycoon-Chapter 125: - Tell Me More -
Tasso cackled, now starting to enjoy the conversation. "Do you know the speed at which it’d take me to arrive before you as of this moment, blondie?"
"Please don’t call me that—"
"Shut up and answer my question, Blondie."
"No."
"Zero point one second." Tasso chuckled. "So no, you can’t kill me even if you try. And that also means, you can’t kill Nikolas, because you need to understand he’s a tad bit quicker than I am. In strength, we might be a match, but in other aspects, I can accept he’s got it ahead of me. Just a little though."
"So, you understand our predicaments?"
"Sure." Tasso cocked his head to the side. "And that brings me to ask, what makes you think I would help you? Nikolas may be my sworn enemy, but that’s between him and I. Why should I help a human to get rid of him?"
"I’ll pay you?"
Tasso almost laughed. "Are you stupid? You think I lack money? Blondie, I have wealth that your father has never tasted."
"Then why did you come?"
"Because I heard it had something to do with Nikolas." He scoffed. "And looking at the situation, it’s not that interesting. Nikolas won’t be dying at the hands of a human, blondie, so don’t even think about it. But you’re free to try if you want. See, if you can kill him."
He shot to his feet. "What a waste of time."
"You’re really not going to help us?"
"No. I’m not interested." Tasso laughed, shoving his hands into the pockets of his suit to walk out.
Fernando rushed after him, grasping his arm. Tasso paused and eyed him dangerously. "Why are you touching me?"
Fernando quickly let go. "I have a question."
"Which is?"
"If your kind is vulnerable to the sun, how come Nikolas can walk in the sun?"
Tasso lifted a brow. "Oh." He raised his hand, tapping at the ring he wore. "Because of this."
"What is that?"
"It’s a ring that allows us to move in the sun," he responded. "But while it does give us that ability, our strength falls heavily. If our strength was at a hundred percent, with this ring, it drops to a half of it. Meaning, while in the sun with this ring, we are heavily weakened that a tough human could go toe to toe with us. So maybe you might actually be able to kill him. Depends on how smart you are about it."
He shrugged, leaving the office without looking back. And while he stalked down the stairs, his lips curled into a smile. "Ah, they’d better not underestimate that bastard."
"Either way, this will be fun."
.....
Fernando was pacing back and forth in the office.
Antonio was fidgeting, eyes following his movement. "I’m sorry, sir."
"For what?"
"I didn’t think inviting Tasso Grimaldi here would be a waste of time. I got some information that he hates Nikolas. But I didn’t think he’d give up on an opportunity like this. Then again, this Tasso is a very prideful strange man. He dislikes Nikolas but wouldn’t accept the help or interference of an outsider. If I had known that, I wouldn’t have invited him in the first place."
"It has already happened. Nothing to beat ourselves up for," Fernando dismissed, saying, "The important things now are figuring out what to do."
He ran his fingers through his hair over and over again.
"I am loosing everything, and this is all her fucking fault."
He grunted in frustration.
"If that bitch had just said yes to me, I wouldn’t be losing my damn company by now. What is the situation with that creature? Have they divorced? If so, set up a meeting, I’d like to have a word with her—"
"No, sir," Tasso interrupted.
Fernando blinked in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I believe they are still together."
He shook his head. "I don’t understand what you are saying? How can they possibly still be together? Viviana saw what he was. H-he’s frightening. Who in their right mind would still want to be with something like that? Something that could kill her as easy as lifting a finger?"
Antonio casted his gaze downward.
"That is out of my hand, sir."
"You’ve got to be kidding me." Fernando quickened his pace back and forth in the office. "What the fuck do I do now? She can’t be making me this miserable just for her to be happy. I refuse to allow that!"
Antonio, who was watching him, cleared his throat, not knowing if he should speak or not.
Fernando paused to stare at him. "Do you have something to say?"
"Huh?"
"You look like you have something to say. Go ahead and spill it."
"Well." Antonio hesitated. "I was thinking that since we already know how he’s able to walk in the sun, his weakness, we can use that to our advantage?"
"Oh?"
Fernandon’s eyes brightened.
"Tell me more."

Viviana laid on the bed, eyes fixed on the documents she was flipping through and reviewing. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Her eyes shifted, lowering to Nikolas who was laid on the bed with her, but much lower to have his head on her lower stomach, while his arms are circled around her waist.
He had a stick of sweet in his mouth, and though his eyes were shut, he wasn’t asleep. She reached down her hand, rubbing around and ruffling his hair. He seemed to like that because he leaned into her touch, letting out a satisfied hum.
Her lips curled at the edge.
"We should get married again."
His sudden words snatched her attention and she tilted her head. "Why? Aren’t we married already?"
Nikolas crane lifted his head, keeping his jaw on her stomach, so he could stare at her. "But it wasn’t real."
"But it became real."
"Yes. But that wedding was boring and filled with drama. Why don’t we have one, it’d be just you and me. No drama?"
Her lips cracked as she smirked. "Grand or minimal?"
"How would you like it?"
"Me?"
