My Scheming Little Devil-Chapter 2009: Blood-Stained Shocking Upheaval
What sort of event could happen in a school, a place everyone considers safe? It’s just unbelievable.
Yiyi hurriedly raised her head and looked at the clock on the distant school building, then gasped sharply, her eyes widening to the extreme.
Because the giant clock, the black hour hand, had already passed the twelve o’clock position.
It’s now ten past twelve.
Exceeding the time she required herself to leave.
She probably thought he would return to the classroom, so entrusted Lina, but Lina had been looking for her for so long that they missed the time. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
It’s over, Yiyi’s heart suddenly raced uncontrollably, a strong tension spread from the blood, frantically rushing towards her limbs.
"Quickly, let’s leave the school." Yiyi gritted her teeth, grabbed the bewildered Lina, and sprinted towards the school gate.
Though unsure of what might happen after twelve, she believed Fog White wouldn’t deceive her, something terrible must be about to happen.
If they didn’t leave now, they might just end up in trouble.
The tragic reality was that the school gate was very far from the festival square. For the first time, Yiyi hated such prestigious campuses for being so large—at sprinter speed, it would take ten minutes to reach the school gate.
"Yiyi... what’s happening... why are we running away from school?" Lina, panting heavily, asked in confusion as she followed, desperately running.
"Something big is going to happen at the school; run fast."
"But how do you know something big will happen? Was it the person in the letter who told you? If something big is really going to happen, knowing it, wouldn’t that mean they’re planning it?" Lina asked suspiciously.
Yiyi was taken aback; if this matter were true, Fog White must be a core figure of the whole plan to know such confidential timing.
Would the impending school incident be related to him?
Chaotic thoughts flooded her mind.
Suddenly, a sharp explosion sound streaked across the school sky, piercing and terrifying, bringing a blood-curdling shock to this serene, sacred world.
It halted Yiyi and Lina’s steps; they turned back in disbelief, their faces turning pale inch by inch. The explosion sound came from the festival square, shocking them to the core.
Following the blast came an unusual dead silence, as if all sounds had vanished without a trace, even the bright light cast by the blue sky appeared illusive, making one doubt if everything just now was an illusion.
But soon, the silence was drowned by sharp screams, terrified cries for help, and a mix of chaotic noises.
Aus Empire is a top-tier strong country that had always been peaceful domestically; the sudden explosion attack stunned everyone, panic swept in, students scattered everywhere, creating chaos.
Soon enough, the school paths were filled with people running and scattering in panic, rushing towards the school gate from all directions, among them were injured, bleeding victims from the explosion, unable to stop and bandage, bursting out with blood on their way, their eyes filled with intense fear—a sight chilling to behold.
"Something big really happened, our school was attacked." Lina’s face went white as paper, revealing fear, retreating inch by inch, "Yiyi, what should we do now?"
Yiyi turned to look at the nearby school gate; people had already fled there, but the gate was tightly locked, and outside the school gate stood fully-equipped defensive riot soldiers in a neat line.
