Chapter 121: My Seven Wife and Me, New Chapter

Ten months passed, and Dennis and Daisy had moved up to the 12th grade, officially becoming the school’s core team alongside Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly. They replaced the graduated team of Ivan, Sasha, Hyunjin, Minji, Brad, and Akira. Olivia was now the student council president with Kimberly as her vice president and Daisy as the secretary, while Mario, Viola, Franky, and Fiona became their new members, replacing the graduated Naomi, Blake, and Trevor.

At this point, Dennis was no longer alone. Although his own classmates were still afraid of him, the incoming 11th and 10th graders—who knew nothing of Dennis’s past—accepted him gladly. They turned him into a role model, making Dennis popular, though he wasn’t particularly happy about it since he wasn’t used to the attention. Jason and Kimberly’s legal troubles were finally over, and they now had new motorcycles.

Meanwhile, Sean had been expelled and was now in prison; it turned out he had committed numerous violations, including several murders that his father had always covered up. His father had been stripped of his position as CEO and now lived in a small apartment in the city’s eastern district among factory workers in a harsh, unpleasant neighborhood. Sean would likely face trial in Diamond City once Emerald City crossed paths with it.

Rachel, Brigitte, Natasha, Sofia, Margaret, and Harumi had become close friends with Daisy, Olivia, and Kimberly, as they were all fellow student council members at their respective schools. They all had partners now from Red Wind, after that school finally purged itself of people like Sean and his cronies.

One afternoon during a school holiday, at an exhibition hall in the western district, Dennis stood in a tuxedo. Beside him was Daisy, wearing an elegant blue one-piece party dress that hugged her curves so perfectly it made many heads turn. They stood at the edge of the ballroom with Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly—who were also in tuxedos and gowns—watching Brad and Elisa perform their first dance after their wedding blessing.

Dennis opened his status, and an interface appeared before his face. He began to read:

"Sigh... level 10," Dennis muttered in his head.

[Do you want to level up quickly again, Master?]

"Shut up, you. It turns out this was all because of you, you traitor," Dennis shouted in his head.

[I already apologized, Master. At that time, I was angry with you and wanted to help your wives.]

"Yeah... I know. I’ve already forgiven you, too. Just don’t let it happen again," Dennis said.

[Yes, Master. I understand, and thank you.]

So, by now I’ve figured out what happened ten months ago. Right after I woke up following that maxed-out class evolution—and of course, you all know what we were doing in the bedroom, sharing sweat and fluids. After everyone was satisfied and panting with exhaustion on the bed, one of them let it slip: Donna.

She said, it’s a good thing we’ll all be out for a long time, so we can do this often. She didn’t mean anything by it, but I realized they were aware their time outside had increased—something they shouldn’t have known. I asked them right then and there, and you know what? All seven of them went pale instantly, including my assistant in my head, without exception.

Naturally, seeing them act like that, I kept pressing and clearly pretended to be angry. After that, the dam broke. They told me their whole "plan" to make me strong so they could stay outside forever. To be honest... at that moment, I didn’t know what to feel because I was numb.

On one hand, I felt like my wives were hiding things and conspiring with my assistant like a planned betrayal that hurt me, making me feel stung. But on the other hand, I understood their intentions. They just wanted to be with me and be outside together instead of taking turns. They also meant to support me so I’d become strong and confident, considering they knew what I used to be like and knew my story. So, they did all that to support me, even if it made things more complicated for me.

Even Daisy begged me not to be angry or scold the others, crying and pleading. She said she finally had a family and didn’t want to be separated from the sisters who had been inside her all this time. At that moment, I needed time to think because my feelings were a mess, and I couldn’t process it all. So, during the three-day holiday, I stayed at a hotel and let them stay at the apartment. After that, I finally invited them to talk again, even extending my leave by one day just to speak with all of them, including Sami.

In the end? We went back to how things were, but I set one boundary: whatever happens, difficulties, or anything at all—talk. If you’re annoyed or something is wrong in our relationship, talk. No more hiding things, because that was Daisy’s request from the start, right? Second, if you want something or need something, speak up. Don’t go behind my back. Let’s discuss it like adults; no more sneaking around or acting in secret only to end up betraying trust.

Third, no more surprises. We don’t need surprises or to hide them from one another, like me suddenly hitting level 99 and undergoing an evolution without knowing a thing. It just left me confused with too many questions. These rules applied to me too, so I finally told them everything about my Talent Manager, with Sami’s help.

Even though they protested and got a bit angry because I had been keeping secrets too, they agreed to the new rules. They hugged me again like they always do and promised to change. It’s been proven over these past ten months; if they want to do something or need something, they say it straight out and we discuss it—all of us, the nine of us including Sami.

After that, life has been normal—great, actually—and it’s clear we are all moving forward together without any surprises. Oh yeah, right now Diana, Dahlia, Donna, Deborah, Dulcia, and Daphne are in their clone bodies with a duration of 52 months. They’ve lived through 10 months and gained an extra 20 months because every time I level up, their duration increases by 2 months since my class changed to Berserker.

It’s just that now, the EXP I receive has become tiny and it’s a bit hard to level up. It’s been ten months and I’m only at level 10 because it’s only coming from PE training, and I haven’t received any hunter assignments since everything has been peaceful. So, that’s the story up to today.

Dennis glanced at Daisy beside him and pulled her into an embrace until Daisy turned to look at him.

"What is it, honey?" Daisy asked.

"Nothing, where are the others?" Dennis asked.

"They’re... all around us, hehe," Daisy replied.

Then, Dennis looked around. He saw Diana, Dulcia, and Deborah attending the party as invited guests at the request of Brad—who had met them in the western district—and supported by Ivan, Sasha, Hyunjin, Minji, and Akira. They were standing at the front right side of the buffet table, seemingly chatting with Naomi and Blake, who were also in attendance. Then Dennis spotted Dahlia disguised as a waitress, Donna disguised as an organizer staff member looking busy but staying close to the food table, and Daphne floating, perched on the concrete rafters in the ceiling, observing everything from above.

When they all saw Dennis, they immediately flashed him a thumbs-up and a wide smile before returning to their serious expressions. Dennis just smiled and kissed the top of Daisy’s head. Then, he went back to watching Brad and Elisa’s first dance in front of them.

"Oh yeah, honey, are we still going to look at houses after this? we made quite a bit of money from killing the claw centipede, and the others got money too from selling their own drops. Our joined account has enough to buy a house," Daisy said.

"Yeah, I’ve already made plans with two agents to look at housing on the edge of the central district, near the path to the western district," Dennis replied.

"Okay, so we’ll go right after we leave here," Daisy said.

"Yeah, I just hope we find a good fit. Even if it’s a bit far from school, it’s fine since we have the car," Dennis said.

"True, honey. I’m actually getting excited, hehe," Daisy replied.

"We’ll eat first after this and chat with Brad for a bit. It’d be rude not to," Dennis replied.

"Yeah, I understand," Daisy replied.

After Brad and Elisa finished, the next dance was Elisa and her father, which looked quite touching. Dennis just held Daisy close, pulling her against him as they watched Elisa dance with her father.
