Chapter 17: Complicated Crush (5)

“I’m home...” I put away my slippers as I jumped on my bed. The flashback of what happened today flashed in my head. I still couldn’t believe that I was finally dating with Senior Rizal now. Ughh, it was like a dream come true for me. Tom must be surprised when he heard me dating with Senior Rizal.

Ah, by the way, talking about Tom, where is he? He didn’t follow me around today. Ah, why should I care?

“You’re here?” It’s his voice. I huffed and turned away.

“Don’t come closer. I’m still mad at you.” I said, slightly muffled by the pillow.

“Don’t you want to tell me what happened?” He asked. Of course, I ignored him. “Am I ignored? Or, should I go to the other source?”

My eyes widened in shock as I heard him. “Don’t!!” I screamed in panic as I turned around. I saw him smirked in victory. “We are dating. So, if you bother our relationship, I don’t want to know you anymore. Got it?” I glared at him, trying so hard so he would listen to me this time.

His expression changed. He bowed his head and mumbled something not clear, then he floated out the window.

.....

“Where are you going?” I asked loudly, slightly in panic. What if he went to Senior Rizal’s place? f𝓇𝘦𝒆𝘄𝑒𝗯𝑛𝗼ѵ𝙚l.𝒄𝘰𝓶

He looked at me with his sad face and gave me his bitter smile. “Don’t worry. I don’t intend to disturb him. I’ll be going out for a while.” He said, and then he disappeared. It’s strange!

...

Darkness surrounded me. No matter how many times I blinked my eyes, I still couldn’t see anything. Everything seemed so quiet. But, I did not feel scared at all. My mind has been asking me, what place is it? But, I had no answer to the question. 𝑓𝓇𝑒𝑒𝚠e𝘣𝓷𝘰ѵe𝑙.com

“I like you, Jane, that’s why I don’t want you to date him.” I heard a familiar voice near me.

I frowned. “Who is it? What do you mean?” I asked as I blinked. I really had no idea where I was. But, then slowly everything seemed to form into shapes, including the person in front of me.

“Tom?” I called out. It is really him.

“I like you, Jane...” He said, as he walked towards me with sad and frustration all over his face.

“But, I’m dating Senior Rizal now.” I said.

“Rizal is not here. Please, don’t leave me alone anymore.” He whispered. His big hands cupped my jaws.

“B-but...” I tried to resist.

“Sshh...” He whispered again. His lips gently closed my lips and slowly he sucked on my lips. I couldn’t resist him. My heart was beating fast. The only thing I knew was I wanted to get closer to him. Somehow, his sadness sucked me into a confusing circle. He pulled me closer and wrapped his arms around me. He kissed me like there’s no tomorrow and I was drowned in the hot kiss he gave me. Lips, face, and my neck, he showered it all with his kisses.

“You’re mine.” He whispered with a breathy voice.

“Tom...” was the only thing I could say.

...

I snapped my eyes open with ragged breath. I was flushed. My eyes were roaming my room, scanning for the transparent body belonged to Tom, but he was not around. I sighed thankfully, patting my chest to ease the strong beat of my poor heart.

“Dream...” I whispered as I wiped the nonexistent sweat on my face.

I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. The dream flashed in my mind again. I didn’t know how I should treat the dream. Was it a nightmare or something, I didn’t know. All I knew was my body shivered with a weird vibe and I didn’t know why, I felt like I wanted to cry every time I recalled his expression and his voice. He sounded frustrated in my dream.

“Did something bad happen to him?” I thought. “But, what’s bad thing that could happen to a ghost?”
