My Wife is a Dead Villainess, and I'm Her Living Weapon-Chapter 236: Fist
"Elian."
"I know… I'm the same."
I want to kill them.
There probably had never been a time when Elian and Bianca felt as connected as they do right now. Even when they fought Origin, they had different concerns. However, nothing unified people more than having a common enemy.
Having your emotions toyed with was horrible.
Practical jokes touted the line between good fun and shattering relationships. Although the pair loved Ned and Charlotte, the intensity of the negative emotions earlier made the irritation and rage all the more stronger.
Clink. Clink. Clink.
Unknowingly, all the Weapons in the area began to ripple. Whether it was armor or the golems made of metal. Much as Elian did before, they all burst out like exploding snakes. Blades and all manner of weaponry pierced out of their bodies.
It was a reaction that would startle anyone. But few could focus on that. Because along with the rippling was the sudden plummeting of the temperature. Within seconds, the air grew cold enough for breaths to turn visible.
Naturally, Ned and Charlotte, who witnessed both changes, groaned in frustration.
"Look at his stupid bastard. Weren't you feeling bad for me earlier? You misplaced your sense of humor and shovedit up your behind or something?"
"Bianca, how childish can you be? You dare to express displeasure at us? US of all people? I see time seems to have dulled your sense of shame."
Contrary to what one would expect, the two people in question didn't shrink in front of the Tyrant of Will and the Anchor of Hope. Instead, they doubled down and even threw a fit.
Elian and Bianca both made faces as if they had eaten something foul. While trying to rein in their anger, both took a moment to relax.
"Ned, I am in a bit of a hurry. I need to kick the butt of the last boss. If you have time to horse around like this, take a hike and make love to Charlotte. Let's talk after I come back."
At Elian's arrogant reply, Ned got up, slamming his foot fiercely to the ground. He approached Elian and stopped in front of him. Given his immense bulk, he was taller than even a bear and looked down at Elian.
"Oh? You talk big for someone who has been gone for so long. I am pretty much the strongest human on Earth, you know? I led the rest of humanity as the Tyrant of Earth all while you lazed about. If you think I am still that weak bastard you left behind, you don't know crap!" Ned challenged in derision.
Charlotte similarly rose but remained behind Ned's back, glaring at the Tyrant of Will.
However, unwilling to back down, Elian came closer and changed the atoms in the ground Ned stood on. Within seconds, from a solid platform it turned to soup, causing him to sink. But Ned didn't even react even as the ground swallowed him up to his knees; he only kept his eyes glued on Elian.
When the height difference between Elian and his best friend vanished, he smashed his forehead to Ned's in an act of primal aggression. The impact was so powerful that it created a sizable gale, yet the two who butted heads remained stoic.
"Look, you insolent four-eyed turd, I just came back from curb-stomping a divine being. You are not even worth the dirt on my shoes. You may have been someone worth a damn before, but I am here now. And you either listen to me and shut up, or I make you," Elian snarled through gritted teeth.
"Ho? Then if I bash your pretty face in, I am stronger than a divine being? Bring it, you senile midget-sized douche!"
At that point, Ned's body began to heat up. It rapidly turned red as if it were being smelted. His eyes, which already burned, had their flames grow in intensity. It was as if Ned suddenly got swallowed up by hell and clawed his way back.
Ned then drew his arm back for a full-powered punch; Elian did the same.
The onlookers, especially the Big Three, Fluffy, Woody, and even Silent, all grew restless. Both sides called out to the Anchors.
Even back in old Earth, Twilight-ranked beings were forbidden from fighting near cities. Simply for the reason that a single exchange by such powerful beings were like natural disasters to normal people.
"Tyrant! Please stop this! If you go wild here, the city will be destroyed!"
"Anchor, Lady Charlotte! Why is the Tyrant acting like this!"
"Anchor! Please give us the command to evacuate or use defensive skills!"
"Bianca, get your lunatic under control; he's going to kill everyone here at this rate!"
"Lady Bianca, it might be a good idea to say something…"
"Daughter! Stop him!"
Yet the two women did not move a single muscle. They only glared at the other party like they had thrown a sack of puppies into a raging river. The anger and bloodlust radiating from the two women were enough to smother even the wildest fires.
Then it came.
CRASH!
Fist for fist, metal against skin, Tyrant against Tyrant. The gigantic burning golem and the handsome knight in white. A surge of power erupted on impact. It was so strong, it blasted all the air into oblivion. Apart from the two warriors, everything around them just vanished.
Sound, dust, air, even light—nothing could withstand that moment. There was a small microsecond when everyone turned blind, deaf, and mute.
But as everyone here was a powerful warrior, at least on Dusk rank, they all felt it. Either fist was loaded with enough killing intent to destroy a city. And the supposed friends spared nothing in attacking the other.
When light and sound finally returned a second later, the world witnessed the two still engaged. Their fists were still trying to force the other to surrender. Loud noises came from their fists as they tried to break each other in a battle for supremacy.
But then Elian smiled as he declared curtly, "I win."
"No, you didn't; you are delus…" before Ned could even finish his sentence, his oversized metallic arm quaked. Thousands of tiny cracks appeared over it like those on cracked earth. Then a sharp shrill resounded before they all shattered.
In a single instant, Ned's arm crumbled to dust. Suddenly disarmed, Ned's body was off-balance, causing him to tilt. In this small gap, Elian attacked. He moved faster than even light and suddenly buried his fist into Ned's cheek.
CRUNCH!
As if smacked in the face with a giant mallet, Ned's body was uprooted from the sunken ground and flew into the air. The height and speed he traveled would make one think he was light. Only he crashed to the ground a moment later, causing the ground to shake and knocking everyone else off their feet.
The human army, which numbered in the thousands, all gasped in shock! Some even tried to draw weapons in retaliation for Elian's attack. However, the moment they did, the entire second Legion likewise unsheathed their talons.
Charlotte then raised her arm to her side, "DO NOT INTERFERE! STAND DOWN OR I WILL KILL YOU ALL MYSELF!"
Her voice had such power that many quickly kneeled in fright. But despite her words, Elian calmly walked toward the fallen Ned and suddenly did the unthinkable.
He offered his hand to him with a smile, "HAHAHA, that was freaking awesome, you hapless cross-eyed virgin! At least you're strong enough to carry my shoes now."
Ned glared at Elian for a moment but quickly grabbed Elian's hand. When he rose up, he quickly reformed his arm and drew Elian in a bear hug. However, while some thought it was a sneak attack, Ned's faceplate retracted to reveal a handsome man laughing in joy.
"HAHAHA! Go jump down a cliff, you stupid, psychotic simp! I do Lottie every day! I stopped being a virgin even before you left! Also, that was a really good punch, like HOLY CRAP!"
"Thanks. But you seem to be not only blind but also stupid as well. Did you even look at my woman, you bastard? Who wouldn't simp for someone as gorgeous as Bianca! Shall I knock some sense into you, you cosplaying knight wannabe?"
"Do your worst, you boy band reject! Lottie is all I need; like hell I would look at any other woman! Still, why Lady Bianca hasn't dumped your butt will forever be a mystery that the universe cannot figure out." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" x2
Then, as quickly as they made up, the two began to punch each other in the face. However, the scale seemed to have gone down several orders from Twilight beings to mere humans. Shedding their bulk, the two transformed into similar sizes and began beating each other up.
Meanwhile, two women sighed in exasperation as they looked at one another.
"Hmph! Even after all this time, your husband still turns my poor Neddy insane. Such a bad influence! Why does this always happen when he's around?"
"I am so sorry, Char, but Ned isn't any better. Elian also losses his mind whenever he meets him. Though it seems he shares my husband's penchant for flattery. You must have loved every moment of it over the years."
"Tsk! I did not!"
"Lying is bad, you know."
"Well… maybe I did… okay, fine! My heart races whenever Neddy praises me like I'm the best thing to happen to him. There, happy? Besides, it's not like you're any different."
"Fufu, indeed. I too, am the same."
And so, Bianca and Charlotte reconnected as their husbands spent half an hour trying to punch each other out. All while two massive armies froze on the spot, unsure what to make of the situation.
