They moved together perfectly, like waves kissing the shore over and over. Yoa’s eyes shone brightly like liquid gold as he buried deep and slow, savouring this star-kissed moment. He drank in every little detail of her flushed and radiant features, and how she was becoming completely undone. She arched beneath him, his name breathless from her lips, aching for him.

Every gasp etched into his memory like the rest of this night will be. His fingers found hers, sliding between them. Nova’s fingers tightened slightly as he felt the pressure coil around him before liquid heat burned between them. He groaned at the feeling, trying to hold on as long as possible before he lost complete control.

Already, it felt ethereal, like they were standing at the edge of the universe with nothing but the silent stars, the soft wind curling around them, and the fireflies blessing them. Where they were joined, a low golden light built, thrumming through them like pure magic really surged through their veins, pulsing with the Serakai bond to be complete. Their fingertips shone and tingles peppered along their skin and down their spines as heat bloomed strong in their lower bellies.

Their breaths tangled as the tempo increased, each lost to their primal needs. Her hands slid along his back, nails grazing, hips arching to meet him again and again. They were wild, claiming each other.

Nova’s mouth found his neck as she clung to him with soft moans, and felt the urge to bite him. Under the rough touch of her teeth, Yoa’s head fell back with a groan that sounded more animalistic, more like a roar and his hips moved quicker and harder, pounding into her relentlessly as his eyes darkened, locking with hers again. The momentum was so powerful Nova’s body moved along the hide a little and one of the cushions dropped, falling into the jungle below.

Neither cared as sparks and shots rippled through their bodies, muscles coiling, winding up tighter, nails dragging down skin, his mouth finding her neck to taste and leave marks of a different kind. Nova trembled, her breaths coming out as pants, her fingers slipping into his hair, urging him lower. A different spot ached for him.

She couldn’t understand it. It was like her body moved of its own accord, needing him to fulfil this ache on her chest. Its as though, the moment his lips would find that spot, she would fall apart all over again. She could feel it, the sensation building, like a storm about to break loose.

"Do it," she moaned, the words slipping from her lips without thought, not even sure what she was begging for—only that was unravelling, and she needed him, needed more. Her voice was lost to the bliss tearing through her like a dam about to burst.

The shimmering magic beneath his skin rippled up to his gums and kissed down her neck, nipping and sucking. He moved to her breasts, enjoying her pink buds blossoming for him, tugging on them and licking away the sharp pain. Her fingers tightened in his hair, and although they were enjoying his attention on her breasts, it wasn’t what she sought out.

Yoa didn’t need any more urging. His mouth trailed along her soft skin, his thrusts slowing but remaining deep, sheathing himself entirely, and watching as Nova’s lips part on a soft gasp, eyes rolling back momentarily and the veins in her neck pulsing to the waves of euphoria crashing over her and over him.

His beast stalked along the borders of his mind, tail swishing back and forth, restless, the growl rising from deep in Yoa’s chest. He needed their bond made whole, needed to claim her completely. The beast within him and Yoa were one and the same and he didn’t protest as his canines elongated, eyes locking his light.

"Do it," she begged breathlessly again, her legs wrapping around his waist, to hold him in place as her lower body trembled from the pure bliss he’d invoked in her. She watched him through a hooded gaze, a few strands of her hair clinging to her face.

Yoa sank his canines just below her collarbone. Nova gasped and moaned as the pain burst into a sweet bliss richocheting in her body. Her fingers tightened in Yoa’s hair and she clung to him even tighter, like she urged him to go deeper even as she felt the sharp blades of his teeth close to her ribcage.

He moaned with her, his bodyweight falling into her more as that light shimmered brighter between their fingers, where their hips were connected, and just as their eyes locked, they gasped, filling the suddenly still air. A silver ribbon, like sparkling stardust swirled between them, curving and coiling but the moment Yoa’s canines slipped back, it snapped into a straight line.

Yoa grunted, and their chests arched towards each other just as he found his release. Nova bit her lip to the sensation. Her head grew heavy and it fell back onto the cushions again, her mind spinning like she’d done more than just lie beneath this man.

Emotions blasted into her like a fireball. She knew without needing to be told, but instinctively knew that these were Yoa’s. They mirrored each other while in this heated embrace but she could tell it was him. It was like a warm sensation sliding under her skin, not hers, but the essence of him.

It didn’t feel imposing, but like a caress to allow him to stay. Stay he would. He would stay forever now etched into her heart.

As her head lay on the cushions, her gaze that had been captivated by him and his striking features and that band of starlight that was linked between them, drifted to the stars beyond him, almost spellbound by it as the silver band faded into existence, but they both knew hadn’t disappeared. Yoa flopped down beside her, his chest rising and falling from the intensity of what happened and stared up at the sky as well.

It was utterly breathtaking. The stars that had formed the knot and double helixes burst across the inky curtain, and like they were watching the sky being fast forwarded, the stars glacially rotated while the moon remained in place. They pulsed and whispers fluttered by their ears. Nova and Yoa jolted, looking to their side, and breathily laughed when they saw each other instead.

But those whispers remained. The words did not form a language yet the pair could understand what was said. That their fate had been set of Yiska and his Electa, his Serakai mate. Slowly, their eyes returned to the sky, fingers threading between each other as they enjoyed the view, catching their breath and the thrumming, euphoria rippling through them every few moments that kept the fine hairs on the back of their necks standing up.

The stars remained like that, rotating like the world was spinning quicker. It was captivating. But the bond pulsing between them turned Nova’s head to stare at her mate. Yoa was already watching her. His eyes shimmered briefly, and her breath hitched as she sensed in those few moments his inner beast had surfaced to meet her.

When she did not look away, or her emotions coil into fear but curiosity pummelling through the ribbon connecting them, Yiska returned to stare upon his Serakai. Her heart pounded as they stared at each other, fingers tightening slightly. She didn’t even wince to the surface cut of his claws slicing through his nails and into her skin.

But the smell of her blood pulled his razor sharp claws back. Nova slowly turned onto her side and rested her cheek on her fist, elbow resting on the hides beneath them as she leaned over him a little. "Hi," she breathed. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Yoa’s lips curled in that delicious way she loved so much. A low growl of appreciation rumbled from his chest, and it fluttered through her body, causing her arms to pebble into goosebumps. The beast within him simmered, retracting as though he could sense what Nova wanted to do next. Perhaps he could. She didn’t know yet what the bond entailed but if it felt like this all the time, then it truly was a gift from the gods.

Slowly, Nova’s fingers traced along the solid curves of Yoa’s chest, her lips parting as silver marks glimmered into existence just below his left collarbone. She moved over him, hips straddling him and leaned on him to trace the marks.

The marks she’d dreamt of the night before. The signs the stars had created moments before. They were one. She could feel the magic thrumming beneath her skin. His essence settling into her like warm honey, his emotions seeking a spot in her chest to remain and never leave.

"The mark of my Serakai," Yoa finished her thoughts, his thumb brushing over the sensitive flesh beneath her collarbone, revealing the silver constellation knot and the horizontal double helix inked into her skin, matching his.
