["The Yondaime's legacy," Itachi replies evenly.]

[Kakashi freezes. He'd assumed Itachi was after Sasuke, but his target was Naruto.]

[Before Kakashi can press further, Itachi produces shuriken from his sleeves and simultaneously performs a Fire Style jutsu.]

["So fast! I didn't even see him make the hand seals!" Kakashi thinks, barely dodging the attack.]

[Itachi meets Kakashi's gaze. "You handle the Sharingan quite well for an outsider. But now, I will show you the true power of this Kekkei Genkai!"]

["Could it be...?!" Kakashi realizes in horror. "Oh no! Shit! "]

[But it's too late. Kakashi has locked eyes with Itachi.]
