Orochimaru frowned, remembering that eye. He had encountered it during his early experiments with Danzo. He now recognized it.

"Kotoamatsukami (Distinguished Heavenly God)... Looks like I've been under a genjutsu for a while." Orochimaru was furious at the realization.

"Heh... Konoha... so that's how it is..." His sneer was colder than ever.

Now mastering his new power, Sasuke's crimson eyes glowed as he opened his mouth to speak—but before he could say anything, a thunderbolt split the sky. The blast echoed like artillery.

Sasuke didn't fully understand what he'd become, but one thing was clear—the thunder was no longer something he wielded. He was the thunder.

"Itachi... just wait..." His voice was dark, distorted slightly, as if something else was speaking with him. The foreign consciousness hadn't left—it had fused with him, twisting his nature into something far more dangerous.

"With this power, you can go after Itachi," Orochimaru said casually. He wasn't worried. If he had given Sasuke that fruit, he had also planted a safeguard.

He knew the Uchiha clan was full of traitors. He was always prepared.

Sasuke's eyes darkened as he stared at Orochimaru, weighing whether to kill him.
