Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven-Chapter 403: The ruling forces of the galaxy
If the ancestor was awake right now, he would probably spit another mouthful of blood and collapse onto the floor, thinking that he was dealing with a bunch of snakes.
"You did not answer my question," Grey replied with a deadpan look on his face.
"No sir! We are absolutely not affiliated with the Daoye Palace! They are the top ruling forces of this world, and to them, our small Three-Planet Alliance is completely insignificant."
"Hm." Grey appeared thoughtful.
From the looks of it, they were not lying. And it seemed like they did not know about the deal between the ancestor of the Crimson Core Planet and the Daoye Palace.
"Alright. Are you willing to follow the Aether Evolutionary Path and become the followers of the great being that created it?" Grey tilted his head and asked. "You cannot say no, or I will simply kill you both."
The immortal and martial experts were completely dumbfounded when they heard this.
What the hell?
They almost spat out a mouthful of blood. He wanted them to become the followers of some random path?
Who opened a conversation like this? Did this guy see them as NPCs in a video game?!
F*ck, did they just encounter some sort of professional scam artist from the starry sky?
Just as they were about to speak, Grey cut in and pressed a finger against both of their foreheads.
They were terrified at first, but soon realized it was just profound information transmitting directly into their minds.
"So, what do you say now?" Grey asked with a casual smile on his face. "Are you willing to spread my path?"
Grey had transmitted crucial information related to the Aether Evolutionary Path. It contained profound truths that only 5th Rankers could truly understand, and it even teased what was to come at the 5th Rank itself.
"Is this really true?" the immortal expert asked in a complete daze.
He felt like he was dreaming. A path where all three aspects of your existence were equally balanced and strengthened together. Rather than achieving transcendence from a single aspect, you did it with all three!
This was absolutely insane!
And most importantly, this energy could completely cleanse corruption fields?!
Corruption fields and the Abyss were a terrible plague even in the wider galaxy. Even within the Crimson Core Planet, there were many opening up. Despite the supervision of two 5th Rank experts, they could not effectively do anything to disperse the dense corruption.
But this new knowledge contained a direct method to disperse already formed corruption fields without needing to take out the core, removing the threat forever.
Still, they hesitated. It sounded far too good to be true. A powerful cultivator could easily forge profound theories to trick lesser beings.
"Yeah. Do you not believe me?" Grey smiled, noticing their lingering doubt. "Observe."
As he said that, he snapped his fingers and instantly initiated his Corruption Sealing Array. It expanded across the entire planet in seconds. In the following instant, the stubborn corruption fields plaguing their world were cleansed away completely.
"This..." The experts held a mix of sheer confusion and absolute amazement on their faces. The theories were actually real.
"Welcome to the path. Now, please take this and begin spreading my path," Grey smiled brightly. "Or else you know what will happen, right?"
The experts shuddered slightly. They knew just how completely powerless they were in front of this man. They simply could not do anything to resist him.
And the deal was not bad at all.
They had seen the powers of this expert with their own eyes. They were not ignorant common citizens, after all, and they realized the heaven-defying importance of such a path immediately.
If possible, they wanted to convert too. Their Dao Hearts, forged heavily around their previous evolutionary paths, immediately wavered after seeing the Nexus Path’s sheer brilliance. It was structured in such a flawless way that it made it incredibly hard not to convert. Unless you were completely dumb, you would without a doubt choose the Nexus Path if you had the option to pick between the Immortal, Martial, Esper, or the Nexus path.
The Nexus Path held the absolute completion of all three and was refined to be vastly superior to them, and he had already succeeded in forging it.
Well, only up to the 4th Rank, anyway.
He still had to perfectly conceptualize his 5th Rank. For that, he needed to study the core scriptures of the Immortal and Martial paths, and then the Esper path to fully grasp the fundamental concepts of their respective 5th Ranks. For starters, he aggressively requested the manuals from the Immortal and Martial experts, and then demanded the Bloodline Chapter for the 5th Rank from Edward Richard III.
Just then, Eterna appeared right before him.
"It is complete, Grey. I have managed to connect to the local protocol here," Eterna spoke with an indifferent look on her face.
"Perfect timing," Grey said with a smile. "What do you have for me?" he asked as he gestured at his head.
Eterna nodded, and they both descended directly into the Information Layer for more privacy. A sub-dimension erupted around the Crimson Core Planet and stacked neatly on top of the already existing first layer of the sub-dimension as it covered Grey’s body.
Speaking of layers, the Crimson Core Planet only had one distinct layer of space. It was significantly behind the Blue Star in terms of raw world level.
As soon as they materialized in the Information Layer, several glowing windows flashed across the digital area.
"For starters, I have compiled a detailed list of the ruling factions governing the white barred spiral galaxy we are currently in. It is commonly referred to as the Milky Way."
"Why am I not surprised?" Grey said with a soft chuckle.
Of course it was called the Milky Way.
No matter what the world was, the names still managed to stay exactly the same, huh? The way the endless reality functioned was truly mysterious.
But he soon got back on topic.
He looked around. Several prominent names flashed across his mind interface as Eterna automatically transmitted massive packets of information related to them straight into his cognitive anchor.
The first and foremost thing he learned was their exact current location.
They were currently situated in the Northern Star Region of the galaxy.
Naturally, there was also a Southern Star Region, a Western Star Region, and an Eastern Star Region.
And each vast region was strictly managed by one of the ruling factions mentioned by Eterna.
They were:
[Astral Genesis Citadel - Sector Authority: North]
[Interastral Golden Syndicate - Sector Authority: South]
[Oblivion Star Empire - Sector Authority: West]
[Daoye Palace - Sector Authority: East]
"That means our Blue Star is technically under the jurisdiction of the Astral Genesis Citadel, huh?" Grey’s eyes flickered with a strange light.
Astral Genesis Citadel.
It was certainly an impressive name.
But it would very soon have a change in its management.
A smile formed on his face.
